Chapter 71 Doubt
Chapter 71 Doubt
"It should be Graham Bexley. Go and open the door." Nathan instructed the maid.
"Dr. Bexley? Why does he come here in person this time?" Eva asked suspiciously. She and Caleb had
accompanied Liam to Graham's consulting room several times before. This sudden visit made her a
little confused.
Nathan explained, "He will come here sometimes, mainly depends on my brother's time."
While the two of them were talking, Graham had already walked to the living room and greeted them
politely, "Hello, Mr. Livingstone, Miss Sommers."
Then he squatted down to communicate with William, "Liam, I haven't seen you for a long time."
William raised one of his chubby fingers, meaning it had been a week.
"Liam is so smart." Graham praised William. Seeing that William was reading a book, he happened to
have already read it, so he chatted with William about the book.
When the two had just talked about the fate of the characters in the book, Caleb had already come
back.
Eva glanced at the clock hanging in the living room. If she hadn't met Nathan, she probably hadn't
come back by this time, and then Caleb would definitely find her going out...
Every time Caleb went to see Graham, he would tell her in advance, but this time he was so insidious
and hid it from her! She was angry!
When Graham gave William psychological counseling, Eva also listened very carefully.
Children were the purest. If you treated him well, he would give it back to you doubled. Eva didn't like
children very much, but William was an exception. She was very distressed that he was tortured by the
demon in his heart. She wanted to do her best to help him, hoping that he would get better soon.
She was staying with William almost every day now. If she could learn some, she could also help him.
So after Graham finished psychological counseling for William, Eva wrote down some questions on a
piece of paper and asked Graham.
"You're very concerned about Liam." Graham said.
Eva didn't seem to hear other meanings in his words, but still asked Graham with a smile.
"Things can't be rushed. We can only proceed slowly. Seeing that you're so concerned about him, as
his attending physician, I'm am very moved. Well, I will teach you a method that you can help him
relax."
Graham still didn't answer the professional questions asked by Eva, but taught her a little game which
wouldn't be of much help for Liam's condition.
From Graham's point of view, Eva was so interested in William, completely because she wanted to
please Caleb. As an entertainer, she had to impress Caleb and then she could get more resources.
On the other hand, he was also afraid that Eva would steal his position. He approached William for half
a year before William reluctantly accepted him. Eva suddenly appeared, and she was very close to
William! If Eva cured William, how could he show off that it was him who overcame the problem, and
how could he get the large reward from Caleb?
So when Eva asked him questions, he was always being vague.
"Thank you, Dr. Bexley." Nathan said to Graham.
"You're welcome." Graham instantly ended the conversation with Eva and started talking with Nathan.
Nathan also asked Graham a few questions. Graham kept talking about professional knowledge,
making Nathan confused.
Nathan smiled, with a look of knowing it, and then he said to Graham, "Okay, I got it. Thank you very
much."
Then he walked Graham out.
Eva didn't like talking about others behind their backs, but this matter was about William, so she had to
be cautious.
"Mr. Livingstone, do you think this doctor is a bit weird?" Eva said straight to the point.
"I agree. Eva and I asked him the same questions. But he gave two different answers. Although he
explained the meaning is the same, I just feel something is off." At this time, Nathan, who had come
back, also said.
Caleb nodded, "I will invite another psychiatrist. You can record the professional knowledge and check
if the answers are the same."
"OK."
Eva lowered her head and rubbed William's little head. Then she said with pity, "Liam, get better soon.
Then your father and uncle will be very happy."
"What about you?" William wrote on the cardboard.
"I'll be very happy too. I really want to hear your voice." Eva said.
Hearing this, William felt a little depressed. He occasionally wanted to speak in the recent period, but
he always couldn't make a sound. When he opened his mouth, some terrifying images always
appeared in his mind, which made him not dare to try it easily.
Eva said she wanted to hear his voice, but he couldn't do it.
"Don't be sad, Liam. Your father, uncle, and I will always be with you." Seeing William looking down
sadly, she hurriedly comforted him.
"Promise?"
"I promise! I promise!" Eva said repeatedly.
William looked at Caleb and wanted to ask for his assurance.
Caleb said in a deep voice, "I promise."
It could be said that Caleb had given all his patience to this son who suddenly appeared.
Without waiting for William to look over, Nathan shouted that he also promised.
However, after William only glanced at Caleb, he fell into his own little world again, and did not look at
Nathan again at all.
Nathan felt bad. He was clearly William's uncle! But in William's eyes, he was less important than Eva
now!
But even if he was ignored, he was happy. He searched for a lot of famous doctors for William before,
but William was unwilling to cooperate with them at all. So the progress was very slow. Now he was
willing to take the initiative to cooperate.
How could such a change make Nathan not excited!
"Mr. Livingstone, it's time for dinner." The maid quietly appeared in the living room and said respectfully
to Caleb.
Caleb looked at Eva, who was still thinking and frowned, and patted her head gently, "Let's eat first.
Don't be in a hurry."
"Well, okay." Eva, who was very worried about William, didn't realize that she was patted on the head
by Mr. Livingstone!
Such a move, and such a smoky voice, even Nathan felt that he was going to blush! His brother was
just too good at flirting with women.
How could he think that his brother didn't know how to chase girls?
Such an inadvertent action was many times more effective than the tricks of flirting with girls that he
had learned deliberately. It would make girls tingle in minutes!
However, the person who was flirted with, Eva, didn't feel anything. Looking at Nathan's enchanted All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.
face, she mercilessly laughed at him for looking so ugly...
