Chapter 63 It's Called Cooperation

To make sure they could have something to eat tonight, Alicia went to the convenience store to buy instant ramen and frozen dumplings.

Then, they went home.

She curled up her long hair, put on an apron, and went to the kitchen with confidence. Soon, she looked at the recipe and felt awkward.

Edmond leaned against the kitchen door and showed no intention of coming in to help. He was just enjoying her awkwardness.

"Can you do it or not?"

Alicia turned her head and glared angrily at him. "I know you can't do it."

"You know best whether I can do it."

Surely, he was unreliable.

She curled her lips, turned around, and continued to carefully do the cooking. At this point, she started to regret not buying the ready-made soup base.

To Edmond, the scene in the kitchen was such a fine view.

Alicia had an attractive figure, and she liked to wear tight-fitting clothes at ordinary times. But now she was in homewear and an apron, making her look more seductive.

Her graceful figure, and the way she was chopping vegetables carefully.

Her long hair was curled high, with some down, making her beautiful neck look like a pride swan.

Standing by the kitchen, Edmond wrapped his hands around his chest and started at Alicia cooking busily.

In only a few minutes, he felt a bit dry in his throat.

His fingertips pounded on the arm, trying to suppress his desire.

Alicia just boiled the water, put the chicken and ginger slices in the pot, and covered it with the lid. Suddenly, Edmond came in, held her loose hair up, and put his hands around her waist from behind.

She could feel her heavy breathing by the ear.

Before she could push him away, Edmond kissed her on the back of her neck.

It made her feel goosebumps all over the body.

"I'm cooking. Can't you wait?"

"You do what you have to do, I do what I have to do. It's called cooperation."

Nonsense.

Edmond said in a hoarse voice while kissing her shoulder. "You seduce me."

She had to smile over his words.

"You can't control yourself, and you are blaming me for that?"

Her smile seemed too alluring to him, so he couldn't help but pinch her chin and kiss her.

"I can't resist you."

They cooked the meal for two hours.

When they left the kitchen, their clothes were wrinkled, and there were several broken dishes on the floor. Alicia believed that her furniture would be ruined soon.

Edmond was not yet full but couldn't stop humming a song.

They put salt into the soup repeatedly, and they could barely swallow it. The frozen dumplings and instant ramen had been boiled for too long and soaked in the pot before being served.

It was such a disaster.

Alicia was a bit angry. "If it weren't for you, I could still make delicious dishes."

"Try again next time."

He had no intention to correct himself.

"You wish. When your hands are healed, I won't cook for you again."

Edmond paused while drinking soup, and then casually asked.

"What if they never get better?"

"In that case, you won't be a doctor anymore and lose your job. You'll have to stay home and do the laundry and cooking every day."

Hearing this, Edmond smiled and asked. "You are paying the bills then? Great. I'll be a lazy person for you."

Alicia just said things without thinking and took Edmond's words as a joke.

On weekends, Edmond and Alicia had to work overtime.

But Alicia still insisted on taking Edmond to the hospital, which made Alan envious.

Although he also has a girlfriend, his girlfriend didn't own a Ferrari.

As Alicia's car was appearing more frequently at the hospital, more people noticed it.

Edmond didn't care about them at all.

Before getting out of her car on a Monday morning, he deliberately leaned really close to Alicia.

She recalled kissing him on the plane before and getting laughed at, so she was clever this time and acted innocently.

"What?" Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

He said shamelessly, "My queen, please give me a kiss."

He was pretending to be a civilian, and she was supposed to be the queen.

"Well, you'll have to please me first."

"I owe you one, and I'll give it to you tonight."

He was really good at saying flirting words

"Come on, my queen. I'm ready."

Alicia glared at him angrily and leaned over to kiss him on the cheek.

Edmond then opened the door and got out of the car in a good mood.

Immediately, a voice sound startled came from a short distance.

"Dr. Agos? Miss. Casey? You..."

Alicia saw a woman who looked familiar walking over.

After a while, Alicia remembered her.

"Hello, Miss Grimes."

She was the dean's daughter who had a crush on Edmond Agos. Recently, everyone at the hospital was rumored that Edmond was dating her.

When Lori Grimes saw Alicia in the car, she was more shocked.

"Dr. Agos, did you and Miss Casey..."

Edmond didn't feel embarrassed at all. He looked serious as usual and answered. "She's my wife."

"Aren't you cousins?"

Lori's voice trembled a bit, and she looked at them in disbelief and hurt.

However, Edmond didn't hide it and explained directly, "We were just doing some role-playing that day to have fun as husband and wife."

Alicia didn't know what to say.
