Mistake with the Alpha

Ever since Sam has been thrown into jail by Jaylen, things have been so different. It was as if she took the happiness of the pack house with her. Everyone seems to be so serious and busy. I barely see the liveliness that I met in the pack house. Well I know people I had thought this would get better with Jaylen now that she's out of the way but then I haven't seen him since that day. It was as if he disappeared. He wouldn't come home to sleep nor would he be in the office.

I told this to my daddy but he consoled me by saying he is still in pain because of the thought that he was betrayed by the woman he loved. I should give him time to heal. I was getting impatient. I had to do something to make him come to only me. I know he will be at the construction site. I don't know if I should go there to look for him, but will he be happy to see me? I could hardly see his two dogs, Alvin and Ethan. Even if I see them, those two seem to hate me. Since Jaylen is nowhere to be found, Sally seems to be the next I can get it from. This is a painful thing for me because I really hate that woman. I should have gone to her office to go get it but then I envy her for having an office and I a Luna doesn't have one. I had talked with Jaylen about the office. He said I don't need one.

I stood up to go to the hall. I didn't want Sally to enter my room. I don't know if that old one is a witch. If she notices anything strange in my room, she might want to start prying into my life. I don't want to give her any chance for suspicion.

Getting to the hall, I noticed that some people were working there. A guard that saw me enter, bowed in greeting.

"What's going on?"

I asked him instead of answering.

"The Alpha ordered that the interiors should be changed" he replied.

Although I wasn't happy that Jaylen was doing this and didn't tell me but then I thought it to be part of our wedding preparation. This is a good omen for me. I moved to where a big table was standing. I noticed that pictures of how the hall would be transformed into were laying there helplessly. Seeing it, a smile rolled on my lips. Jaylen has good eyes for decorations. Soon this place will look like paradise and I'll be the Luna of this place.
