Mistake with the Alpha

Sally's POV

Not that I wasn't disturbed about everything that was happening to the Alpha and Sam. There was always this feeling I do have anytime I see Allison. I knew something is definitely not right about her and her sudden appearance to the pack.

Since she was a pup, she had always seen me as the enemy. So everything she does to me never moves me. I knew the moon goddess to be a kind and merciful one. Even though it was always thought that the mating bond is a curse to the werewolf world, it's still a blessing to us. We never have to be with more than one person. That's why Jaylen's situation is still a myth to me.

I've always seen the way Jaylen looks at Sam. It's with pure love but Allison, who is said to be the mate, always gets a different reaction from him. His look seems forced. I don't always like to b**t into things that don't concern me but I've known Jaylen since he was a pup. He's like a son to me too. He has been kind to me and helping him wouldn't be a big deal.

With what Allison did to Sam, I knew I needed to stop sitting down and get something to do about this. Sam isn't worth what happened to her. I then went home. To my parents house. I looked at the pot in my hand. I wasn't expecting a full person to disappear on my dresser. I was expecting a voice or even some smoke like in movies. I put the pot down and looked at her. "Are you the moon goddess?" I asked ignorantly.

I felt sheepish that I knew I had a very stupid question.

"No need. I heard everything you said. I was already seated here the moment you carried the pot. You just don't see me" Viviana interrupted.

I nodded.

I nodded. " Is Allison the bad one?"

I can be talkative if what I'm saying is intended for me. Viviana just listened to me. I know she would be wondering how such an old woman could talk too much but the real me rarely talks.

"Allison is not feeling threatened unreasonably" Viviana said.

"Huh," I said, confused.

"She knows Sam is Jaylen's true mate".

I shook my head. I can't even imagine it.

"But what then am I to do? I can't just watch things going wrong" I said disturbed.

"The Gemma knows about it, including Drey the witch hybrid".

I wondered how they knew. No wonder Ethan wouldn't leave Sam. He was always by her.

"The three of you can figure out what to do. Ethan and Drey are already looking for a solution but they'll also need your help" she said.

"And I'll be glad to help," I said with a smile.

I didn't get to do the duty of the Gemma but now is the opportunity to protect our Luna.

I was already very aware of why he came and I had prepared his answer. I was answering him quite well until he dumped on my other bombshell.

"I want to activate my vampire prowess," he said.

I didn't know how to react. I remembered what Viviana told me about Jaylen's rage. I became more scared but I tried to hide it knowing how sensitive Jaylen can be.

"Alpha" I called.

He's the Alpha. I can't tell him not to do what he wants but I know the danger in what he wants to do. Jaylen then made me understand why he wants to do it. I then just told him that he should be careful.

There is so much work on my neck. My sleeping days are over. I need to get in touch with Ethan and Drey so we would start to work together to find a lasting solution to all these.
