Now I know why he suddenly became serious. I didn't reply to him. I wasn't surprised that he knew about this since it's all over town. Everyone thinks Sam is the bad one but then they don't know that Sam doesn't have anything to do with all these. She's just a poor girl, who is a victim of circumstances.

I know I needed that information but then my pride wouldn't accept help from Brock. He might use it against me later.

I looked at him as he said it as if I'm one of his subjects. I might be a lycan but I'm not from their breed. I'm a lycan on my own, not from anyone's blood.

"I have other plans," I said with a dry voice.

"Don't be arrogant, Jaylen. I might be of help to you" he said.

"Don't you get it. Do you? I don't need your help Prince. I can fix this myself" I said with a frown.

I just looked at him. I know I crossed my lane with the way I talked to him but then I'm angry. He wouldn't let me be.

Brock then decided to walk away with one of his people and I sighed in relief. At least now I could think about my own life, not a Prince ordering my life about.

"Meet me in my office" I said to Alvin through a mind link.

Getting to the pack house, I met Allison already waiting for me. She was by the door.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Waiting for you" she said softly.

I didn't say anything else, I just walked off. She then ran to try to catch up with me.

"Are you still angry with me?" She asked.

"I'm not," I said blankly.

"But you ain't talking to me. I even went to apologise to Sam and she already forgave my naive jealousy. Not that I wanted to but then I did it to make you happy. I promise I won't hurt her anymore. Even if you want to make her your mistress, I won't object. Please Jaylen, don't be angry at me anymore" she said crying softly.

I didn't look at her face but then with her shaking voice I knew she was already crying. Her tears were making me feel guilty but then I didn't talk. We then entered the office.

"Jaylen please".

She then surprised me by going on her knees. I seem quite shocked that I watched her as if she's my imagination.

"If you want me to go kneel to Sam to show you that I'm over my childish jealousy, I would. I can do anything just to have your love back" she said sniffing.

I went to her and pulled her up.

"You shouldn't do this," I said softly.

I didn't know she could stoop low just to have me back in her life. That quite moved me. I blame her for coming into my life but then it's not her fault. She doesn't create the mating bond. "No, let me. I really miss you. I can't do this anymore. It's breaking my heart".

I hugged her. I could feel her pain.

"I'm so sorry but I can't help it" was what I said.

She looked up at me." You won't leave me right?" She said in a low voice.

I shook my head. She was already in pain and I didn't want to hurt her any more. I know she's hurting because of Sam's pregnancy.

"I won't. Sam might be pregnant but then you are my mate and my Luna. You are the only thing that completes me" I said softly.

I didn't know if what I said was what I believed or if I just told her to put her mind at rest. Allison hugged me the most.

"Thank you Jaylen," she said.

"Now don't look like a mourning wife anymore" I said with a smile.

She then gave me her smile.

"When will we get married? I can't wait to wake up by your side. I even think it would be better if the lycan Prince witnessed our wedding" she said happily.

Well to people outside, it is an honour to have prince Brock at any ceremony but to me, it's nothing but a trouble. I don't want that guy near me. He'll definitely choke me with his demands. "Hmm" I said, not wanting to give her high hopes.

Pending the time, I'm not willing to get married. I want to sort myself out first. I've made a lot of progress with my vampire training. Discovering things that a vampire can do. I even went to the vampire kingdom to know more about them. None knew about this except Ethan who I made to escort me there. He nagged me till we got there that those people are dangerous but then they received us warmly.

Just as we were vigilant, they were also very vigilant. I went to their king and explained myself to him. I was very surprised when I discovered that I was very popular amidst them. He even said they were waiting for me to come visit one day.

They were the ones who told me a lot about their powers and the varieties of it. They even wanted me to remove my restricted wristband but then I didn't want to. Kira has told me that I would get so violent if I remove it. I had to explain to the king and he concurred.

Now I've begun to wonder why vampires and werewolves fight. They all seem nice and accommodating. But since it's history, it's none of my business.

"Will you pick an actual date?" She asked.

"Let me see all my schedule and find one that is free. Then we can invite the priest to come join us" I replied.

Allison shouted happily. " I'm so happy," she jumped.

I smiled at her.

"I need to go tell my daddy about this. We need to start preparing. See you later love" she said and ran off.

I watched her and then smiled. I didn't know she could be this lively. Allison, I have known since I was a child, doesn't love to play. She always wants to hang around and talk about odd things. We were friends then but not best of friends like Alvin and I. What people don't know is that sometimes we will sneak away from her so that we can play on our own.

I still can't believe that she's my mate. We are totally different. Most of what I like then, she doesn't like. Likewise I. It seems like we are two opposite people that repel each other. I just wondered why the moon goddess would match us together. Just as Allison left, Alvin came in.
