Chapter 36
Chapter 36
In the following days, Vivianna watched how the man in front of her coaxed her son to make him giggle. She felt a little bitter as this man forcefully intervened in the relationship between her son and her.
After walking around the garden, it was already eight-thirty in the evening. When Augustine came back, he carried the little guy on his neck. The little boy's laughter broke through the sky.
Vivianna was behind the two when she heard her son laugh with such glee, the corners of her mouth couldn't help but curved into a smile unconsciously.
As a mother, her son's happiness was her joy. She couldn't suppress this kind of feeling even if she wanted to.
When he returned to the living room, the little guy was already so out of breath, Augustine had to hold him in his arms. The handsome Augustine could not help but approach the boy, kissing him repeatedly, making the little guy so itchy that he couldn't stop giggling. The smile on Augustine's charming face was full of affection and love from the bottom of his heart.
Vivianna noticed it when she entered. She was stunned for a few seconds as the way this man spoke to her just now was simply devilish. However, in this moment, he had become an angel.
Looking at her son on the sofa, she spoke, "Zeph, time for your bath."
"Mommy, can Daddy help me tonight?" The little guy replied instantly.
Vivianna was furious. It was not a good thing for her son to get so close to Augustine.
Upon hearing it, Augustine cast a gaze at her with his deep and charming eyes, Vivianna glared at him grumpily.
"All right, Daddy will bathe you. Let's go! From now on, Daddy will bathe you every day." Augustine was really enjoying little Zeph's reliance on him!
"Yes!" The little fellow nodded excitedly.
When they went upstairs, Vivianna found out that all the servants in the castle were gone. She couldn't help but follow them upstairs. She remembered that there seemed to have an abundance of guest rooms on the fourth floor. She thought, "After I coax Zeph to sleep, I'd head back to the guest room to sleep."
In the bathroom, Augustine bathed the chubby little guy for the first time. The little guy's looked fair and healthy, and his black hair was stained with water. Under the bright light, he seemed handsome yet adorable. His big watery eyes made Augustine think of Vivianna in an instant.
Zeph's facial features were identical to Augustine's, but the boy's eyes were clear and pure, just like his mother's.
"Daddy, where are my grandparents?" The little guy asked curiously, blinking his huge eyes in the process.
Augustine's alluring face twitched slightly, but he gently smiled. "They are living abroad right now, I will arrange for you to meet them soon."
"Okay!" The little guy seemed like he couldn't wait to meet his grandparents.
Vivianna entered the master bedroom. When she did so, she noticed that the cooly-styled and spacious room was oozing with the host's picky personality. She couldn't help but walk towards the balcony.
Augustine carried the little guy out of the bathroom, but the little fellow had no clothes to wear.
Augustine remembered that when the castle was first built, the room next to his bedroom was designed to be a child's room. He should have spare clothes for his son in that room. Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
He wrapped the little guy using a quilt and told him not to get out of the bed while he pushed the door and went to the next room. Then he came back with a set of pyjamas and put it on him.
Vivianna leaned against the railing at the balcony, gazing at the man who was dressing his son on the bed. She couldn't believe it. This man gave off an impression that he was cold, noble and arrogant. At this moment, he looked like a real dad in front of his son.
Actually, it didn't seem like a bad thing for Zeph to have such a father. Vivianna pondered.
Vivian couldn't help but shook her head. What was she thinking about? Did she mellow out just because he treated her son well?
Vivianna opened the door and headed back into the room. Augustine's eyes swept over, "It's your turn to bathe."
