Chapter 175 Schizophrenia
Chapter 175 Schizophrenia
“What did you say? Say it once more...”
After knowing that Hudson was gone, tears ran down her face.
“I was wondering why he didn't come home these few days. He had worked so long in the Bask's villa
and he would always send me a message every time he went out. Never had he ever took so much
time without telling me anything! I need to take care of Esmae and I thought that he was coming back
when I saw Mr. Bask today! Who would've thought that... Aaaah! My dear husband...” she said that
while stepping out to hit Sarah with her crumbled state of mind.
The longer she cried, the more tears were accumulated on her face.
“Sorry, I'm really sorry...”
Sarah knelt and pressed her forehead on the ground.
Andrew pulled the bawling woman and told Sarah to get up, but Sarah wouldn't listen. In the end,
Andrew loosened his hands and blocked the lady, “Calm down, everyone.” Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
“Calm down? How am I supposed to be calm? Mr. Bask, my husband is dead! Please think about it,
what should Esmae and I do?”
“Even if it was related to Sarah, she's not responsible for it. Hudson was murdered, and we all know
who murdered him.”
“Who did that? Tell me who it is! He must go to jail! I'm reporting this!”
Andrew didn't give any answer and turned around. He saw Sarah, who was trembling violently, and
hugged her.
He softly said, “I'll console them well. Go back now, you've said everything you wanted to say.”
“No... I'm sorry, Hudson...”
Sarah covered her face with her hands. It was so painful that she almost couldn't breathe.
“Go back home.”
The second time, Andrew's voice was
“How could I? Could I calm down that way?”
“What can you do by staying here?”
Andrew slightly frowned after taking a glance at the crying and tired woman on the floor. Right when he
wanted to help her out, a girl with blue school uniform and short braided hair showed up in front of him.
Her clear eyes made him forget about it.
She supported the lady and said, “Mom, what happened? Who are they?” Perhaps that girl was the
Esmae that she mentioned before.
“Esmae, your dad passed away... Your dad passed away just like that...”
Esmae glanced at Andrew, and Andrew was coincidentally looking at her too. Both of their eyes were
full of murderous spirit.
Afterwards, Esmae glanced at Sarah, “Who the hell are you guy? Where's my dad?”
Her voice had that unique youthfulness of a girl and persisting strength. She asked them in full
confidence.
“Sorry.”
Sarah looked at Esmae and bit her lips, “Your dad was murdered because of me, I'm very sorry.”
Esmae's mother walked over and pointed at Sarah, “Why do you have to make my husband die? What
did he do? He absolutely won't do such bad things, so why?”
Esmae stared blankly after hearing about her father's death. She closed her eyes and a clear tear fell
out right away. She glared at Sarah deeply before rushing into the room.
The door was closed, and the crying sounds in there sounded extremely sad.
Andrew whose heart was as hard as rock, tightened his lips when facing the situation at that time.
“As long as, you say it... I will do my best to fulfill it, from now on... sorry.”
Sarah kept saying sorry. However, sorry was the most useless word.
Who invented the word 'sorry' anyway?
“Would saying sorry be of any use? I don't want your sorry! I only want him back!” she covered her
head and cried in despair.
Even the sound of her crying started to become, weak, hoarse and strange.
“Go home with me.”
Andrew once again emphasized while pulling Sarah's hand to hug her tightly in his arms, “You're not
helping anyone by staying here. It's futile not to accept when the result has been announced, I'll send
other people to take care of the rest.”
“How would you take care of it?”
Andrew glanced deeply at her, and pulled her away right after that.
...
Andrew brought Sarah to a new place, one of the numerous houses in City H.
“I rarely come to FT Villa. We'll live her since you don't like the European Scenery Residences.”
Sarah was absent-minded when she entered, there was not much ups and downs.
“Tell me first, what should they do?”
When Andrew saw that she couldn't calm down, he simply said,
“When Hudson entered the Bask's villa, he signed the personal safety contract and we'll compensate
him based on it.”
“But I was involved...”
Andrew's expression darkened when he she said that.
Sarah didn’t dare to speak about it anymore, in fear of provoking him.
She was struggling at that time.
Above her head, Andrew slowly talked, “There will always be accidents, and no one knows when it'll
happen. You only need to know that it was not your fault.”
“Andrew, did you know? I don't want to see everyone getting tired because of me, I feel like I'm the bad
guy now. Since I was taken back from the orphanage that year, I have troubled dad and you. It's all
because of me.”
Sarah suddenly felt a splitting headache, as if something was peeling her brain and dragging it apart by
force.
Andrew noticed that something was off with her expression after she said that, and so he immediately
let her lie down flat on the sofa, “What's wrong? Your head hurts?”
Sarah's eyes widened, “It hurts so much!”
The pain almost made her faint, with short breaths she called, “Andrew... Andrew...”
She blacked out.
“Sarah! Sarah!”
Andrew was a bit flustered too. He had noticed that something was wrong with her since she fell and
rolled down the stairs that day. Her head was even wrapped with bandages, so how could there be no
wounds or traumas?
“Sandy, call the best neurologist in town to come over, quick!”
Andrew hurriedly called Sandy when Sandy was putting the messy office in order.
Hearing that flaring and worried voice, Sandy almost messed up in surprise, “Yes! President!”
...
“How is she?”
The neurologist before Andrew had examined Sarah in detail for the second time, he even brought the
equipment.
He frowned, “Mr. Bask, pardon me for saying this but she may have a slight schizophrenia.”
“What's schizophrenia?” Andrew emphasized his tone more and more on every word he said and it
made the doctor felt a bit scared. The doctor silently blushed with shame and explained,
“Schizophrenia is a clinical syndrome with symptoms such as...”
Andrew interrupted him, “Stop.”
He's not a doctor, how would he understand such medical terms.
“I only asked you, how could she have such sickness?” the doctor carefully looked at Sarah before
saying, “Did she get stimulated, by any chance? That's the most possible and common cause. So far,
the exact cause of schizophrenia has yet to be found. However, external social environment and
harmful factors had always been the most acknowledged cause. I think it might have stimulated her.”
