Chapter 29
Chapter 29
Chapter 29 Overwhelming B*tchness
Why is it her again? Radley thought.
His eyes sharpened as he recalled how Freya was like an invisible person when she was by his side before. And now, his life was filled with shadows related to her after their divorce.
Radley raised his eyes. “How did you find out about this?”
The Kaufmanns and Ben Mccarthy seem to have no intention of hiding this. Connor speculated, “I suspected Jean may be related to the Kaufmann family or a friend of theirs, Mr. Monaghan.”
The car stopped at the traffic light, and he weakly added, “Could it be because of your divorce that led to the termination of the contract?”
Radley’s eyes darken as he suddenly figured it out.
Jean’s request to replace Danna for no reason was most likely for Freya. And only the Kaufmann family
could hack into the Monaghan Group’s official website.
Tsk. how many things do I not know about her? he wondered.
Radley’s gaze deepened; the atmosphere in the car was so tense that it felt like water could be squeezed -out of it..
Connor didn’t dare to say a word and drove the car through the night.
After returning to Smalzot Yard, Radley went into the study.
Radley had been unsuccessful in finding out Jean’s information, even after asking Connor to do so. Thus, Radley was doing it himself this time.
It was already 4:30 in the morning, and there was already a glimmer of light in the sky.
Sitting in front of the computer, Radley looked at the skull avatar composed of code on the screen.
He failed again.
Pinching his forehead, he walked to the floor-to-ceiling window where the morning light outlined his tall, lean figure like a perfect statue.
“Freya…” His low voice carried both magnetism and curiosity while Radley narrowed his eyes.
What Danna did to Freya was indeed excessively awful, and it was natural for Freya to want revenge. But was Freya simply seeking revenge against Danna, or did Freya hate Danna?
The difference between the two would determine whether or not Freya still cared about him.
– Radley’s thoughts were disturbed.
At the Kaufmann Residence, Freya got up early in the morning and went to the gym to exercise until 11 a.m. before returning to her room to freshen up.
When she beat Marcus up yesterday, she realized that her skills had actually regressed significantly.
In the past, it wouldn’t have taken her five minutes to beat up a few thugs.

“Regressing is not something that can be fixed in a day.” Freya sighed while taking a shower. “I wonder what live been doing for the past two years.
She didn’t expect her skills to have regressed to this extent.
After showering. Freya went downstairs to have lunch.
Sylvia was sitting in the living room and looking at a tablet. When she saw Freya coming down, her voice became sterner. “Frey, I have something to ask you.”
Freya approached her and saw the news about changing the capital side of Moonlit Journey on the tablet.
Hugging Sylvia’s waist, Freya whined while rubbing her face against her mother’s. “Mom…”
Sylvia became serious. “What’s going on?”
Freya put on an innocent look. “You know that Moonlit Journey is my work. Isn’t it good for our family to invest in it?”
In the past, when I suggested investing in it as a TV drama, you weren’t happy about it. You entrusted it to Ben, and he secured the Monaghan Group as the capital. Now you want to retrieve it back. Tell me, what are you after?”
Sylvia became more cautious. “You haven’t fallen for Radley again, have you?”
“No way!” Freya clicked her tongue. “In the past, I declined your and Braxton’s good intentions because I wanted the market to evaluate whether it was worth it. As for now, it’s because I’m not satisfied with the female lead chosen by the Monaghan Group.”
“Who did they choose?” Sylvia frowned.
Freya sneered. “Who else could it be? It’s that b*tch.”
“Danna?!” Sylvia’s voice raised a few notches while her anger was visible on her face.
“Well done. It’s disgusting to have her as the female lead!”
Seeing her mother’s sudden change in attitude. Freya nodded in agreement like a little lapdog.
After having lunch with her mother, Freya went upstairs and immediately opened her computer to check Twitter.
Sure enough, the news about Moonlit Journey changing capital had already made it to the trending topics.
Although it was not surprising that the Monaghans and Kaufmanns were old rivals, there was something different about why they had gone viral this time.
Freya squinted and read Danna’s tweet.
The general idea was that Danna couldn’t appear in Moonlit Journey because of the demands of the new investors, but she still wished Moonlit Journey a bright future and so on….
What does she mean by the new investors’ demands? Freya thought.
A surge of anger rose in Freya’s heart.

It was obviously a contract termination from the beginning, but it had not been made public until now.
Danna was now claiming that her leaving was owing to the demands of the new investors, which was not entirely incorrect given that both Jean and the new investors were Freya’s, but…
Wasn’t she obviously mocking herself for being bullied?
Freya clicked the comments section and saw a series of remarks defending Danna.
Danna’s fans, nicknamed Delgadians, were cursing the Kaufmann Group in the comment section, then the Kaufmann family, and finally Freya.
Although Danna’s previous scandal had caused controversies, her fans were particularly convinced of their idol’s innocence.
Shameless corporate. All they can do is use capital to put pressure on people!”
‘Delgadians, let’s report the Kaufmann family! Danna’s career will be ruined if she is repeatedly targeted by this corporation!”
Various comments continued to pour in, and someone had already listed the Kaufmann Group’s brands.
The Kaufmann family owns a company named Herbtronics with brands including Gixell and Zremist… Everyone, get your hands on those skincare products, fake some pimples on your face, and then report
them!”
“Everyone can also stay at the chain hotel owned by the Kaufmann family and put cockroaches on the bed to report that they are not cleaned up properly. It’s hard to investigate who’s at fault anyway!” All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Yes! As long as we have enough people, we can tarnish their reputation!”
Freya became stern upon seeing how crazy these people openly discussed conspiracies in the comment
section.
Some had even started setting up a “Delgadian Fortress.”
Seeing that there was a Twitter group chat, she promptly requested to join the chat..
The group was lively. After some observations, it was basically a group chat where the owner drove the
conversation.
The group owner posted a picture. I have posted this picture and reported the cleaning lady at the five- star hotel under the Kaufmann family for boiling her underwear in the room’s kettle!”
Freya glanced at it and took a screenshot of the group chat.
She logged into her Twitter account and posted all the group chat content with a kind reminder. ‘Be a civilized fan and use your brains. Also, if you want to smear others, stay in my hotel first. My hotel doesn’t have kettles.
Not to mention, the so-called kettle was covered in tea stains.
Online discussions were already heated, and soon after Freya posted, she was quickly pushed to the forefront of the relevant topics.
She didn’t disable comments as most netizens were rational and took a stand, some even directly mocking the group owner.
Where did you get this antique kettle?’
Who even puts underwear in the kettle?”
Some observant netizens found other clues in the photos, such as the carpet being commonly used in at certain budget hotel..
While there were some negative comments directed towards Freya in the comments section, the fans were either countered by rational netizens or fought back persistently.
Amid the uproar, Danna posted another tweet again.
