Willow clenched her jaws and decided to come clean. "Yes, he's my ex-boyfriend! We were together for two years!"

Back when Jasper asked how long she dated her ex-boyfriend, Willow found it strange that he even knew she had an ex-boyfriend.

Now that she thought about it, Jasper had probably already found out then that she and Xavier used to be a couple.

If admitting she liked Xavier would aid her in rejecting Jasper and not become his sugar baby, then she was willing to do it!

Jasper's facial expression was gloomy. He lifted his chin slightly and brushed his lips against hers. "His body does not belong to you, and your body does not belong to him! Willow, don't challenge my patience. I've told you this before. Your body can only belong to me!"

His cold, oppressive, and merciless attitude was perfectly embodied by the words he chose. He would not take no for an answer.

Willow felt a sharp pain on her skin and in her chest. Her eyes went wide. "Mr. Hughes, I told you, that night was an accident..."

"The word 'accident' does not exist in my vocabulary!" Jasper yelled with force.

Willow was intimidated by the fierce look in his eyes. Even her voice was trembling. "Mr. Hughes, I don't want to be your secretary, and I don't want to be Xavier's secretary either. I'll leave both your companies. I will never appear before you two again. Can you please let me go?"

Jasper was not letting her choose. Clearly, he only gave her one option.

She could either be his woman and have money and power, or she could starve to death.

Willow did not mind starving to death on her own, but she had four children to raise.

Without an income, her children would have to starve.

She recalled the way Hailey looked at the empty milk powder container. Hailey wanted to drink milk so badly, but there wasn't any left.

The pitiful sight made Willow's heart ache.

Without food to eat, the children would be in an even more pitiful state.

Willow was left without a choice. "Mr. Hughes, can you let me think about it?"

Jasper's gaze turned gloomy. He let her go and picked up a glass before placing it on her head. "You can do that right in front of me. Once you're done thinking about it, you can remove the glass."

Willow wanted to cry.

The base of the glass was even smaller than the glass itself. On a flat table, it could still remain stable.
