My Gentle Wife is a Real Divine Being CHAPTER 1093

“It’s time to walk in,” Erica exclaimed, helping Debra to her feet. noveldrama

Liza suddenly looked flustered. “What am I supposed to do?”

“We just walk on either side of the bride. The flower kids will carry her train, so don’t worry about it,” Erica reassured her.

Right then, two children pushed the door open. Their adorable looks melted Erica’s heart.

“Whose little angels are these? Caleb did such a good job,” she said.

The flower children, a boy and a girl, looked like porcelain dolls. But just as Erica reached out to them, the girl protested, “Lady, you’ll smudge my foundation.”

“Foundation?” Erica blinked, surprised that this little girl knew about cosmetics.

Before she could respond, the boy chimed in, “Lady, please don’t interrupt our work.”

The two kids walked over to Debra and carefully lifted her train.

Erica felt slighted. “You…”

Before she could finish, Liza tugged her arm. “The wedding is about to start. If you make them cry, who’s going to carry the train?”

Erica nodded and made a face at the kids. “I’ll deal with you two after the wedding.”

The butler cleared his throat and leaned in to whisper, “Miss Mathis, these two are professional flower children. Mr. Houston Sr. hired them at a high price. Please don’t upset them.”

“Professional flower children?” Erica repeated, stunned.

She prided herself on being well–traveled and experienced, but this wedding kept surprising her. She realized the world was much bigger than she’d thought, full of things she had yet to learn.

No wonder they looked so perfect. They were professionals.

Just then, a beautiful melody began to play.

Debra held her bouquet and slowly walked toward the entrance. Nervousness was beside her.

“Let’s give the warmest applause to the bride.” The emcee’s voice boomed through the microphone.

Erica and Liza quickly followed Debra. A spotlight streamed down on her, drawing a round of gasps.

The wedding gown, prepared by Caleb, sparkled under the light. Each diamond reflected a

dazzling brilliance, like a galaxy of stars. Debra’s beauty was elevated to an almost ethereal level.

The guests erupted into applause, and Caleb nodded in satisfaction.

Michael, standing in for Debra’s family, stepped forward to escort her. Together, they walked slowly toward the rose–covered arch, where Marlon stood waiting.

The guests watched with fervent admiration. The bride and the groom were like a couple straight out of a fairytale.

At the arch, Michael placed Debra’s hand in Marion’s. Smiling, he said, “I’m entrusting my boss to you. Take good care of her, or you’ll have to answer to me.

Marion responded with steady resolve, “From now on, Debra is my life. I won’t give you a reason to come after me.”

“Good.” Michael let go of Debra’s arm and stepped aside, his role complete.
