Tremaine stood up.

There were dark eyebags under his eyes.

"Madam Quartley, there is no need to continue investigating," Tremaine replied.

He sounded terribly hoarse, as though he was the one who had been poisoned.

Hearing Tremaine's words, Madam Quartley became agitated. She even ignored that Tremaine's voice was so hoarse.

She said, "Tremaine, what are you talking about? This is your son, your own son! He nearly died of poisoning, so what do you mean you won't investigate? Is this what a father should say?"

"Madam," Tremaine explained, "Yesseca and I are over."

Madam Quartley was taken aback.

"We are completely over. Yesseca has been asked to leave Nashaland. She cannot come back here."

Hearing Tremaine's words, Madam Quartley was shocked.

She immediately got up and went up to meet her. "Madam Quartley, you're here."

Qiao's mother took a look into the ward and then asked in a low voice, "She's asleep?"

"Yes she is, she's sleeping well," Yuliana empahsised the last sentence.

Madam Quartley did not find anything out of the ordinary.

She said, "Let's go out and talk. Don't wake Qiana up."

After leaving the ward, Yuliana couldn't wait to ask Madam Quartley, "Madam, have you looked for Tremaine? What did he say? Did he find out who did it?"

Madam Quartley's expression darkened. "He has."

"Who is it!"

"Yesseca."

Yuliana's heart finally settled.
