My Obsessive Doctor

Alberto Injured?

“I’ll tell him later,” said Doctor Vega firmly.

“That’s it! Just go now!” said Doctor Vega when she was near the door of her room while she pushed Alberto’s body until Alberto fell. “Brak!”

Alberto felt his body ache. He looked down at his leg which was injured and bruised now. He tried to get up, but his body was in so much pain.

“What’s wrong?” asked someone behind them, which made them look back.

Alberto saw Doctor Chico behind him. He tried to get up, but his wound was still bleeding.

He immediately licked the wound to make it stop bleeding, but the wound didn’t stop. Then, he took some of the spittle and put it on the wound. Then, he woke up and tried to hide what had just happened because he was afraid something bad would happen.

“Doctor Chico, Alberto is not my assistant anymore from today! Okay?” asked Doctor Vega.

“Then, who will be your assistant later?” asked Doctor Chico confusedly, because all the assistants have been assigned by position.

“It’s up to you! Whoever! The clear thing is that person is not Alberto!” answered Doctor Vega curtly.

“It’s okay if I don’t have an assistant. I can do it on my own without an assistant as stupid as him,” Doctor Vega said angrily while she pointed her index finger at Alberto.

“How about Brian?” Doctor Chico immediately suggested Brian, because he thought Brian would be willing and because he knows Brian really wants to be Doctor Vega’s assistant. For him, if Brian doesn’t really want to be Doctor Vega’s assistant, Brian wouldn’t have made the problems before.

“I’ll tell Brian later, if you want. If you and Brian agree, that’s okay as long as Doctor Bernardo agrees too,” said Doctor Chico.

“That’s okay. Anyone can be my assistant, except Alberto!” said Doctor Vega.

Afterwards, Doctor Chico glanced at Alberto and asked Alberto why he was in that place. “Alberto, why are you still here?”

“I’m sorry, Doc!” Alberto immediately apologized.

“I immediately go to the pharmacy room now,” said Alberto. He immediately walked away, leaving them quickly, but his legs couldn’t.

“Okay. Just go there now! Be fast!” ordered Doctor Chico.

Alberto tried to walk fast again, but his injured leg prevented him from walking so fast.

“Don’t make your seniors wait there! I’m afraid they will think that you’re late,” said Doctor Chico.

“Okay, Doc. Thank you!” Alberto walked away from that place.

After Alberto arrived at the pharmacy room, he immediately knocked on the door. As usual, soon a voice was heard inviting him in. “Come in, please!”

Alberto immediately opened the door and entered the pharmacy. While in the pharmacy room, he just remained silent.

He didn’t want to talk at all. At that time, suddenly, Mr. John asked.

“Guys, how about if I play the song from Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi? What do you think?”

“I agree. That’s a great song!” said Mila (Alberto’s apprentice friend).

Alberto’s friends agreed. That time, only Alberto didn’t give an answer.

He was only focused on his job. Not long after, a song entitled Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi was played.

Alberto was silent while doing his work. His feelings became more sad.

“Alberto, what’s wrong?” asked Mr. John.

“Yes. Why are you so silent today? Usually, you’re cheerful.” Mila asked, who had been watching Alberto just keep silent.

“It’s okay,” said Alberto.

“Why, Alberto?” Mila said. She wanted to know what caused Alberto to become quiet.

“It’s okay.”

“Why? Just tell me!” Mr. John persuaded. He tried to make Alberto want to talk.

“Yes. Just tell us, Alberto!” persuaded Mila.

“We want to hear you, and we will hear it.” Mr. John attempted to persuade Alberto to tell him about his problem.

“Yes,” said Milla.

“It’s okay. I’m sorry! I must go now to the emergency room.” Alberto immediately said goodbye while he carried the medicines.

“Okay.” Mr. John allowed.

After that, Alberto left the place for the emergency room in a hurry. As he was outside the door, tears started dripping down from his face.

He felt sad, remembering all those things. All the happy memories have now turned into sad ones.

He immediately ran away because he didn’t want anyone to see him cry. When he was in a quiet place where he was sure no one was there, he poured out all his sadness there.

“Indeed, everything has changed. She has left me.”

“Now, I’m not with her again. All the happy moments have become sad moments.”

That’s what Alberto said to himself. After he was satisfied with crying there, he immediately wiped his tears.

Then, he continued his journey again. Not long after, he arrived at the emergency room.

At that time, the room was quiet. There were no patients currently being treated there.

He immediately gave the medicines that he had brought to the nurse. “Nurse, here are the medicines!”

The nurse immediately accepted it. Alberto was about to leave, but at that moment, Doctor Chico, who was on duty, immediately called Alberto. “Alberto!”

The call made Alberto stop his steps and turn towards Doctor Chico. Then, he frowned and asked.

“What’s wrong, Doctor Chico?” He tried to ask with the tone that he usually uses when he is asking, but the tone was heard like Alberto was so sad.

“Here!” Doctor Chico asked Alberto to come closer to him. Alberto immediately walked over to him.

After Alberto was near Doctor Chico, Doctor Chico immediately asked. “What’s wrong with you, Alberto?”Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

“It’s okay, Doctor Chico.”

“Please, come here! I’ll treat you first!”

Doctor Chico said while he held Alberto’s injured leg. Doctor Chico knew that Alberto’s leg was injured, because earlier he had seen Alberto’s wound when he fell.

“No need, Doc!” Alberto tried to pull his leg away, but Doctor Chico held his leg even tighter.

“That’s okay.”

“Don’t hide something like that, Alberto! You know, I don’t like it,” said Doctor Chico, which made Alberto relent. He couldn’t lie anymore.

“Okay, Doc!” Alberto showed Doctor Chico his wound.

Doctor Chico immediately took betadine and cotton. Then he took it and sat down on his work chair.

“What happened to you with Doctor Vega earlier? What’s wrong? Do you have any problem with her?” asked Doctor Chico while he dripped betadine onto a cotton swab.

“No, Doc. That’s okay.”

Alberto lied. Alberto tried to smile.

Doctor Chico immediately stopped his work. He looked at Alberto’s eyes sharply.

“Alberto, I know you have a problem with Doctor Vega, but you don’t want to tell me about it. I know it’s hard to tell and confide, especially since we are men who are often labelled as strong and must always be strong in society regardless of the circumstances.”

“I don’t know whether even other people do that to you or not. But even if they do that to you, you have to remember, Alberto. I am your best friend.” Doctor Chico asked Alberto to remember.

“You consider me your best friend, right?” asked Doctor Chico.

“Yes.” Alberto nodded his head.

“So, we are close, and of course I understand your situation. Please, tell me if you think of me as a best friend who you can trust!” said Doctor Chico, which made Alberto immediately tell him everything that happened. Doctor Chico began to treat Alberto’s wounds.

“Oh my god, Alberto! I’m so sorry to hear that.” Doctor Chico expressed his sadness.

“I don’t expect that she will be like that and she can do that.”

“Me too.” Alberto lowered his head.

“I’m sorry I made you remember that!” Doctor Chico apologized.

“It’s okay, Doc.”

“If you want to cry, just cry!” said Doctor Chico.

He let Alberto cry. He knew and understood how sad, hurt, and painful Alberto felt.

Alberto wanted to cry, but he couldn’t. He felt that his tears had dried up and that he couldn’t cry again.

At that moment, they heard the sound of footsteps stepping into the emergency room. Alberto immediately asked.

“What’s going on? How come it’s so crowded?”

“Is there an accident? That’s why so many people have come.”

“Or what’s wrong?” Alberto was curious about what happened.

Doctor Chico answered immediately. “I don’t know.”

“So strange! It’s not usually like this.”

“Is there an anarchic mass demonstration again like yesterday? That’s why there are so many patients,” said Doctor Chico.

Indeed, the day before, many patients had fallen due to anarchic mass demonstrations. The hospital was chaotic and very busy. The health workers skipped lunch yesterday.

“I don’t know.”
