Chapter 435 Saying You Like Me

Janet’s lips shone like a luscious jelly candy, her teeth leaving a playful pink mark as she

bit them. Some droplets of water adorned them.

Nathaniel had never heard Janet speak in such a soft and delicate tone before. It was as if she were an

innocent girl, with an unspoken desire that yearned to be fulfilled.

Driven by his physical instincts, he pulled Janet toward him and fell on top of her.

Suppressing his inner turmoil, Nathaniel placed his arms on either side of her body. Their breaths intert

wined intimately.

Janet’s bare calves climbed up his waist, and her body rubbed against his clothes.

Her suggestive gesture left Nathaniel almost dizzy with desire. His lower abdomen burned with a fire th

at refused to be quenched.

“Please, help me…”

Janet’s voice was hoarse, tears in her eyes as she clung to Nathaniel. She didn’t know

what she wanted, but her instincts drove her toward him.

Her body was like a depleted bottle of tinder, empty and craving for oxygen.

Nathaniel wiped the sweat off her nose, and she followed the touch like a small animal.

“What do you need help with?”

Nathaniel whispered, his words echoing in Janet’s heart. But she was lost in the moment, her mind una

ble to think straight, taking small gasps of air.

“I don’t know… Please, I don’t know.”

Janet clung to Nathaniel’s neck, like a lost fawn, her eyes brimming with tears.

Nathaniel struggled to control his breathing, his hand trembling as he lifted Janet’s

chin with his palm. His lips lingered around hers, teasing her with their proximity but not quite touching.

The refreshing aroma of mint wafted across Janet’s cheeks as she tilted her neck, chasing the familiar

scent. Despite her efforts, she couldn’t quite capture it, her brow furrowing in frustration as she let out a

soft moan.

Nathaniel’s voice, low and alluring, whispered, “Do you want me to kiss you?”

Janet nodded eagerly, mustering all her strength to draw closer to him.

Yet, Nathaniel denied her desire, halting just a hair’s breadth away. His voice, now husky, implored, “Sa

y me you like me.”

“Say it, and I’ll help you.‘

Nathaniel’s eyes quivered, his plea echoing through the enchanting chamber.

He yearned to hear her confession, even if it was merely a half–hearted utterance in her

delirium. He longed for her to say the words herself.

Janet’s previously half–lidded eyes snapped open, locking onto Nathaniel’s gaze.

Nathaniel tensed, his heart pounding.

anet held his stare, her eyes piercing through him as if she could see straight into his very soul.

Under Nathaniel’s anxious watch, Janet suddenly pulled his head down with a fierce determination, thei

r lips crashing together.

Her lips were soft yet fiery, his cool and gentle.

Their mouths danced together, each stealing the other’s breath while offering their fervent passion. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Nathaniel’s final

defenses crumbled. His long, powerful fingers caressed the back of Janet’s head as his tongue sought

entry, delving deeper into her warmth.

Urgent, heavy breaths mingled as Janet flipped their positions, pinning Nathaniel beneath her.

Nathaniel’s body temperature began to rise, his arms encircling Janet’s lithe waist. His palm traced the

curve of her spine, eliciting a soft moan from her lips.

The two tumbled on the bed, locked in a heated embrace.

Nathaniel pinned Janet’s hands above her head. His mouth moved away from her swollen lips and trail

ed kisses down her neck.

Bright petals bloomed on her skin as she clawed at his back and fumbled with the buttons of his shirt.

Just as her fingers brushed against the cold metal of his belt buckle, Nathaniel caught her wrist and pull

ed away.

Janet’s

eyes were clouded with desire and confusion. She didn’t understand why he had stopped. All that she k

new was that she was still feeling bad.

Nathaniel gazed at her flushed face, unable to resist her allure.

He wanted nothing more than to lose himself, as much as she desired.

But he knew that she was not in control of her actions, like an innocent child.

He, however, was conscious.

He

couldn’t take advantage of her vulnerability and betray her trust. That would make him a total asshole.

With a pained sigh, he buried his face in her shoulder.

Janet blinked back tears and subconsciously stroked his hair which was wet with sweat.

In one swift motion, Nathaniel scooped her up and carried her to the bathroom.

He held her close as they leaned against the bathtub.

The chill of the water seeped into their skin. Even Nathaniel, who had been burning with desire moment

s before, couldn’t help but shiver.

The chill finally brought some calm to Janet. She ceased her grasping at Nathaniel but leaned quietly a

gainst his chest, her eyes slowly blinking.

Underwater, Nathaniel took Janet’s delicate hand in his own and toyed with it.

Janet lowered her gaze as her slender fingers slipped between Nathaniel’s, their hands. interlocking.

This simple gesture stirred Nathaniel’s heart more than their passionate kiss. His

heart thundered in his chest, and in this surreal moment, he entertained the absurd notion of time stand

ing still.

Exhausted from her thrashing, Janet soon fell into a peaceful slumber in Nathaniel’s

arms.

Nathaniel brushed back her damp hair to reveal her fair, delicate face and placed a

tender kiss between her brows.

The next morning, Janet awoke with a start, whimpering from a dream.

With a headache that threatened to split her skull, she rubbed her temples and sat up in

bed.

She found herself in an unfamiliar room, the quilt slipping from her body to reveal a

white hotel bathrobe.

She was dazed for a moment before memories flooded back to her like a tidal wave.

She had been carried into the room by Nathaniel the night before and had even begged him for a kiss.

Janet angrily grabbed at her hair and buried her face in the quilt.

What was most troubling was that she had no recollection of what had transpired after that. Had she re

ally… with Nathaniel…

A dark cloud seemed to hover over Janet’s head. The world outside was bright and

sunny, but her heart was overcast with stormy emotions.

The bathroom door opened, and a tall figure emerged.

Nathaniel was bare–chested with only a towel wrapped around his waist to cover his

modesty. Water droplets trailed down the defined lines of his chest and abdomen before disappearing i

nto the towel.

He sauntered over to the table to pour himself some water, seemingly oblivious to

Janet’s wide–eyed stare.

Janet hastily pulled the

quilt over her eyes and sulked, “Hey, can you put on some clothes? It’s indecent!”

Nathaniel’s lips curled into a smile as he replied in a suggestive tone, “Didn’t you enjoy touching me las

t night? Why are you so shy now?”

anet was taken aback by his words. How could something so crude come out of Nathaniel’s mouth? He

sounded as if she were a thug who robbed innocent men.
