Yeah, Xenia schemed for years and treated the Liddell brothers as her own. What

did she get in the end? She would never match up to Noelle!

In the end, Xenia picked up her phone and opened the text. It was time to

formulate a backup plan.

Noelle enjoyed her next few days. She played games every day.

However, she received a call from the Ministry of Education. "You're Noelle, right? We're from the Ministry of Education. Many people have reported you for cheating. We will be conducting an investigation into your exam results. Please come on campus and help us with this."

Lionel said, "Noelle's grades surged toward the end, but her grades weren't bad at all before that. She's got firm foundations. It wouldn't be a stretch for her to mature

in the last few months. She's capable. We're not afraid of getting her papers checked."

"Her papers are being looked through presently. We'll conduct an open and fair investigation."

After he finished asking her questions, Noelle asked, "Who reported me to the authorities?"

"We can't disclose this information. We're done for today. More discussions will be conducted back at the Ministry."

Lionel was rather nervous. "Noelle didn't cheat. Why don't you let her do a mock paper. You'll know how capable she is."

Noelle was touched when Lionel spoke out for her. He believed her.

Bruce said calmly, "Noelle, don't read too

into this. You've done

wrong so you've got none

to be scared of."

Noelle nodded and replied, "I know. I'm not afraid at all."

"That's great. There's nothing that needs to be done now. You can go home and wait for further updates from us."

After Noelle left the office, Bruce called Cedric and said, "Mr. Greene, I've got something to tell you."

After Cedric listened to what Bruce had to say, he paused the meeting and left the meeting room.

He looked out at the skyline of the city center and asked strictly, "Did she go to school just now?"

Cedric knew more about this than anyone else. Noelle's capabilities didn't require her to cheat.

He knocked on the glass window and said darkly, "I got it."
