Chapter 260 They Were Framed
Chapter 260 They Were Framed
“But were they really framed?” Rosanne sneered. She still thought Matthew had owed her an
explanation whether it was an accident or it was an evil setup! Rosanne would never allow this to
happen to her precious daughter. She was the honorable lady celebrity in Oakshire after all.
Rosanne added, “I don’t care what it was. Matthew will have to give me a reasonable explanation
today.”
That did sound like a simple request from Rosanne - She was expecting an apology from Matthew. But
it would surely be better if Matthew agreed to take the responsibility to take care of Malinda from now
on. But there was no way Blanca would let her wishful expectation come true.
Blanca was aware that it was a setup.
But now Blanca was faced with Rosanne, and Blanca wasn’t sure what was her relation to Mr. Butler.
The way she was interacting with Rosanne had been different, “Mrs. Roach, I knew what had
happened from the start to the end. Someone set up Matthew and Malinda, and now they were trying
to use it to sabotage the relationship between the Roach and the Grant families. I hope you could see
that. I am sorry Miss Malinda had to go through this misfortune. But I am sure Matthew would take care
of this matter.”
Blanca finished saying so, she turned directly to Mrs. Brown before Rosanne could argue back. Blanca
said, “Mrs. Brown, be sure to serve Mrs. Roach well. She must be tired of waiting this long. Refill her
tea, please. I am quite worn out today. Mrs. Roach, please excuse me.”
Blanca knew so well that she shouldn’t stay too long in the same room with Rosanne, or Rosanne
would lash it all out on her instead. Now she was leaving Rosanne alone - out of sight, out of mind.
Blanca went directly upstairs.
Rosanne’s anger was burning inside her heart even more badly because of Blanca’s attitude.
How in world could Blanca be so cold with Rosanne herself? But for some reason, Rosanne actually
felt for Blanca looking at Blanca’s lonely self.
...
Blanca felt like there was a piece of cotton stuck in her heart, but it somehow also felt like a huge stone
was pressing her down on her chest. She was having trouble breathing well.
Blanca went to great lengths to be in Oakshire City, just trying to figure out her background and find her
family, but now... She was now seen as a liar. Holding the pendant, Blanca smiled bitterly, “Grandma,
why didn’t you tell me all this earlier?”
If grandma had told her earlier, maybe she wouldn’t have had such a hard time finding the rest of her
family. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
Blanca was feeling quite upset today, so she headed to bed early. She didn’t know when Matthew had
made it home. She just knew that he was out again when she opened her eyes the next morning.
But Matthew was home last night - his side of the bed was still warm.
Blanca woke up and quickly freshened up. She went downstairs and saw Mrs. Brown was busy in the
kitchen. Blanca looked around and there was no sight of Matthew. Somehow Blanca could feel a sense
of disappointment spreading inside her heart gradually.
“Mrs. Grant, are you looking for Mr. Grant? He left early for some work.”
“Don’t worry about it, I am not looking for Matthew. What do we have for breakfast, Mrs. Brown?”
Blanca didn’t want Mrs. Brown to catch her disappointment, so she deliberately acted livelily. But she
always felt like something was missing when she was eating breakfast by herself. After she finished
eating, she asked, “How did it go with Mrs. Roach last night?” Blanca had left Rosanne alone in the
living room even though she didn’t mean for it to happen. But she was in a really bad mood last night
and wasn’t prepared to deal with Rosanne at all.
“Mrs. Grant, the young master has said a few words to Mrs. Roach after he came back, and she left
afterward.”
