Love That Lasts For Thousands Years & Xuan Wu's Vow

"I see.. So her adopted family is holding a welcoming party for her.."

Inside the living room, Long Zhi Qiang read the report that was given by Cao Wen about Ming Yue's

news. The eyes that were usually cold, softened when it gazed the photo of her. It filled with thousands

love and longings that could melt the most frozen heart.

"I am glad.."Long Zhi Qiang whispered the words softly as his finger caressed the photo softly.

'In the previous life, she is always alone..'

'Now she has the family who can accept her for who she is..'

'My Yue.. My Bright Moon.. I am so happy for you..'

"Do you want to come? It's not hard getting an invitation right away." Cao Wen asked.

Seeing the loving and warm expression on his captain's face, Cao Wen once again being reminded of

how strong the love that his captain had toward the girl called Ming Yue.

A love that lasted for thousands years..

Cao Wen had heard about the love between Demon and Goddess, it was often used in movies, novels

and dramas but to think he could see it in reality..

Somehow it amazed him..

"There is no need." Long Zhi Qiang shook his head with a bitter smile. Bitter but at the same time was

sweet, full of indulgence.

Cao Wen wanted to say How come you say that she is your wife even though you haven't married

her?!' but seeing the helpless expression that was full of indulgence on the captain's face, Cao Wen

couldn't say anything.

Standing up from his seat, Long Zhi Qiang walked toward the balcony and gazed at the blue sky

above. He recalled the time he was longing for that woman whose heart was as cold as the frozen

mountain, still as the calm water as if nothing could move it.

After the first meeting on that full moon night, his heart was stolen and he wanted to melt that cold

heart of hers, wanted to move her heart so it could only beat for him. Yes.. he wanted it more than

anything..

"In Moonlight night, I saw a woman."

"With eyes as cold as an ice, eyebrows strong like a willow and lips as red as the peach blossom."

"Her beauty took my breath away. My heart yearns for her existence."

"What to do to make her smile? What to do to make her mine?"

"My heart is sick and She is the only cure."

As Long Zhi Qiang muttered the poem that the past him, Zhong Kui, made after the first meeting with

the Moon Goddess, the breeze flew by as if carrying the yearning heart to the person whose heart was

frozen in time. Begging for her to show pity to the man whose heart was filled with longing for her love

and forgiveness.

Ming Yue who was accompanying the members of Wu Family as they toured the garden in front of the

Moon Palace, felt the breeze passed by.

A whisper could be heard, soft and gentle, as if carrying thousands of love and longing. Ming Yue felt

her heart stopped for a moment and her feet stopped abruptly. Lifting her head, she gazed at the blue

sky of the Tianshang De Kongjiang with a slight frown on her face.

She knew that voice well..

No.. TOO well in fact..

In her dreams, she often heard that voice calling out for her..

"...Zhong..Kui.." A soft whisper escaped her lips, filled with longing. Ming Yue frowned even deeper as

she realized that it was her who made such whisper.

.....What to do..'

.. I seem to--'

"Master, why did you suddenly stop?"

A voice suddenly entered her ears and pulled Ming Yue right away from her deep thought. Ming Yue

realized that Xuan Wu was already standing in front of her, a gentle smile was on his face.

"..Oh.. It's.." Ming Yue blinked for a while.

"Hmm?" Xuan Wu bend his body, his face leaned toward Ming Yue's.

Ming Yue couldn't help but taking a step back and shook her head, "It's nothing.."

"Doesn't look like nothing to me~?" Xuan Wu pressed gently, "Otherwise you wouldn't be so in a daze,

Master."

Me..?'

...In a.. Daze..?'

Ming Yue averted her eyes from the peering eyes of Xuan Wu, somehow feeling a little guilty for lying

to him.

"It's really nothing. You're worrying too much, Xuan Wu." Ming Yue sighed with a helpless smile and

continued walking toward the Wu family members who were already walking far ahead of her.

Xuan Wu stared at her running back, the warmth in his eyes slowly faded. It was changed into

complicated feelings that was swirling in those green orbs. A little bit hurt, a little bit sad, a little bit

longing and a little bit bitterness. All combined into one.

"...You are a bad liar, my lady.." Xuan Wu whispered softly.

When Ming Yue stopped abruptly, Xuan Wu noticed it and wondering what was wrong with his lady, he

walked towards her, leaving the group who was already walking ahead.

However, never in Xuan Wu's wildest dream that he would hear his lady uttering that damnable name

once again. The fire in his heart rose instantly, he didn't want her to say that demon's name once again.

It drove him crazy.. especially when he noticed the way she said that name, the sigh and her face.

Even though there was a frown on her face, but her eyes were in a daze, as if trying to search the

whereabouts of that damnable demon.

Why?

Even though thousand years had passed, why she couldn't let go..?

She was reduced to this state because of that demon!

If only she didn't meet him.. His lady would still be the Moon Goddess..

Lifting his head, Xuan Wu glared at the sky above. As if trying to convey his hostility toward the cursed

A voice came from a far, as Xuan Wu turned his gaze, he could see Ming Yue waved her hand, urging

him to come along in a hurry. His cold expression softened in an instant. Walking toward his lady who

he treasured so much in his heart, Xuan Wu added more in his heart.

I will protect her even if I have to kill the man she loves..'

She can only be safe in my arms..'
