Chapter 33 A Reluctant Memory

Chapter 33 A Reluctant Memory

Jason found her froze, “Even you are busy, you need to have food.”

Angel smiled. “Did you have food when you are busy?”

Jason did not answer. When he was busy, he did not have time to have food.

Angel, seeing that he did not speak, said triumphantly, “Hum! I know you didn’t.”

Jason smiled, “How do you know?”

Angel sighs, “Don't forget, I have a brother in your style. Not only him, his best friend, Alfie, is in your

style.”

“I don't know if they've eaten and rested lately,” she muttered.

Jason took a look at her, “Do you miss your brother? Then why come back?”

Angel glanced up at him and then dropped her eyelids, “Well, that's a hard question.”

Jason could not help but smile, “Have you done something bad?”

His smile caught Angel's eye, and she froze. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Jason was particularly good-looking. She found it since she was a child and often praised him.

In addition to Belle, Jason would darkedn his face when others said he was good-looking.

Angel recovered. “That's the deal, Jason. No disputing.”

Jason was not sure if Angel would cook, but he knew Belle could cook.

However, his mood somehow improved.

In the frontof Angel, he felt his emotions become pure.

“Here we are.” He stoppoed the car slowly

“Wait a minute. I'll ask the security to let us get the car in.” Angel got out of the car and scampered to

the secutiry.

Then the gate opened slowly.

Angel waved at Jason and motioned him to drive inside.

Jason showed a smile and drove to the direction she pointed to.

Jason always felt this girl touched his heart as if she was Belle.

Jason parked the car, and Angel had called a few children to move books.

The children came running over with shouts of joy.

Angel shouted, “Get in line, don't push, don't carry too much! Don't be tired!”

She put Jason on the side, and moved the books with the children.

Jason came to help, feeling the joy of the children.

Dean Lane and the teachers all came out to help.

“Angel, where did you get all these books?” The teachers were surprised was delighted.

“Angel is capable.” Dean Lane praised her.

Angel was a busy bee again.

Angel directed they to move to the books to the designated library and let the children back to class.

Dean Lane and two teachers left in the library.

Dean Lane noticed Jason.

“Angel? This is -”

“Oh, dean, I forgot to introduce, this is my secior, Jason!”

“Jason, this is Dean Lane, this is Miss Chang, and this is Miss West!”

Angel dropped what she was doing to make the introductions.

Jason politely shook hands with Dean Lane and two teachers.

Angel looked at the books and sighed. “There aren't enough shelves. We need two more.”

Dean Lane said with a smile, “Leave it alone, we can solve this problem. Take Jason to my office and

drink some water, it is hot now.”

Angel pulled Jason away.

As soon as they stepped out of the corridor, children surrounded Angel.

“Angel, I've finished the homework you left me last time. Would you like to see it?”

“Angel, come and see mine.”

“And mine, and mine.”

The children were shouting at her.

Angel looked at Jason apologetically.

Jason smiled, nodded to her, and beckoned her to go with them.

Angel smiled happily, “Jason, you sit here, I'll be back in a minute, very soon.”

She ran away with the children.

Jason looked at her back.

Did Belle do this before?

Suddenly, his pupils narrowed and he caught sight of a familiar figure.

He strode to her.

“Sofia?” He called her in a low voice.

Sofia looked up and froze.

“Sofia, I am Jason, do you still remember me?” He looked at this thin woman, whom he might not have

recognized if he had not known her so well.

“Hello.” Sofia said and truned her vision away.

“Sofia -” Jason did not know what to say.

And Sofia had sat down on the stone chair. She did do not look at him, as if he did not exist, as if

everything around her did not exist.

“Mr. Jason?” There was a voice behind him.

Jason turned, “Rosa?”

Rosa looked at Jason, “Is it really you? Mr. Jason?”

Jason nodded, “Rosa, long time no see.”

Jade's eyes lit up with tears. She smiled and whispered, “How time flies. You have grown into an adult.”

Rosa put a coat on Sofia’s body, shook her head to Jason, beckoning him not to speak.

She led Jason to the corridor and sat on the bench. From their point of view, they could see Sofia's

back, “Mr. Jason, Mrs. Newman may not remember you.”

Jason looked at Rosa in surprise.

Rosa showed wry smile, looking at Sofia's back, gently said, “Miss Belle has gone. Mrs.

Newmansuffered a great stimulus and had serious illness. Miss Bellel’s room had changed into the

study, and her things were thrown away. Miss Anna said it is for the good of Mrs. Newman. Mrs.

Newman since then seemed to have forgotten everything connected with Miss Belle.”

“She's not mad, she's just shut her mind off. I sent her here and told her that it was the orphanage that

Miss Belle had been supporting when she was alove, so she stayed and did what she could to take

care of every child. But she has not mentioned about Miss Belle and was quiet at home.”

Rosa's tears fell.

“Mr. Jason, don't disturb her. Let her be quiet. It's good for her to be alone. I have sometimes thought it

was Miss Belle's blessing for her. At least she has a place to go.”

“If there is no such a place, Mrs. Newman would not be able to stand it.” Rosa wiped tears from her

face.

Jason felt distressedd, “Rosa, I went to the hospital and the case said Belle had heart disease. When

did she get heart disease?”

Rosa gently shook her head, “Miss Belle had been very healthy. She fell off the stairs one time and was

sent to the hospital. It is said she had a concussion and a broken leg. She was in a coma, and then she

was detected with a heart attack, but she was gone in three months --”

Rosa covered her mouth, repressed her not to cry out, but her tears had fallen down.

“Falling off stairs? How did that happen?” Jason frowned.

Rosa shook her head, sobbing, “That day Mrs. Newman and I went to book dinner dress. I don’t know

how she fell off. Miss Anna found that and sent her to the hospital. Miss Angel had a few for a dew

days, I advised her to take a few days off school, but she said she had a competition to take part in.”

Jason suddenly raised his head and saw Angel standing at the corner of the corridor, with pale face.

Jason was stunned.

Angel had turned and walked away at a gallop.

Jason comforted Rosa and gave her his contact information.

He took a look at Sofia still sitting in the stone chair, feeling sour.

Jason strolled slowly in the courtyard and counld not find Angel.

“Can't find Angel?” Dean Lane asked, smiling as he emerged from one of the classrooms.

Jason had to nod with a smile.

“Come with me. She must have gone into the backyard to play with the children.” Dean Lane took

Jason to go to the backyard.

Turning the corridor, he heard the sound of happy laughter and screams before he saw anyone.

They were playing games.

Leading by Angel, the children behind her were running and laughing.

Angel laughed happily, so that Jason could not help but doubt if she had heard his conversation with

Rosa.

“Angel is different now. Not only is her intellect back to normal, but her whole being is different. I always

have the illusion that I see Belle.” Dean Lane looked at the children with a smile and gently said.

Jason's vision fell on Angel.

Angel was an enigmatic girl.

These days she was so cheerful that he almost forgot how changeable she had been when he first saw

her.

She pretended to be weak in those rich girls. She bit her wrist to bleed in her car, and just now her face

changed when she saw Rosa.

Angel's worries have been suppressed by her, and these worries should be related to Belle.

After losing Belle, she must feel painful in heart

He had Dean Lane's illusion too.

He could see Belle’s habit on Angel.

When the bell rang, the children all went back to the classroom, and Dean Lane went to look after

them.

Angel was exhausted and sat down alone on the playground, folded her knees and buried her face

between them, as if she was tired and resting.

Jason ran to Angel in hurry.

Angel was found huddled and trembling.

“Angel?” Jason put his hand on Angel's shoulder.

Unexpectedly Angel rolled to them and and kick Jason.

Jason dodged it, “Angel!”

He caught Angel by the shoulder and noticed that something was wrong with her eyes.

“Angel, what's the matter? Angel?”

Angel smiled faintly and muttered, “Jason.”

Jason was in shock.

“Angel, what's wrong?” Jason covered Angel's forehead and found cold sweat on it.
