Rejected and claimed by the alpha beast Novel by Paige T

Chapter 91

Seasons passed with time; Elise had chosen to stay with Hayden, and with Chief Blackmoon’s blessing, they had their mating ceremony.

She had asked for nothing festive; only Abby and Hayden’s best friends were there as witnesses. She could remember how tense she was as she repeated those vows and how the last time at the altar ended up so horribly.

But with one of Hayden’s eyes, she reached his promise to be by her side, to protect her. There was still a nerve-wracking feeling after the ceremony.

It made her nervous about how the pack would accept her as Luna and Hayden’s partner. Contrary to her beliefs, the people welcomed her the moment Hayden announced she was in; they were all grateful for her help, and the people warmed up to her. Even though there would be biased whispers and some filled with jealousy, that was nothing that could break her.

Not until the very day her water broke and she was rushed to Abby’s, with Hayden waiting outside for the birth. It felt like an agonizing eternity as she screamed and labored with everything she had. “If you were a normal wolf, you and ten children would be dead by now. You are doing so well, but I need you to push!” Abby instructed.

She felt her labored breathing stretch; she could hardly think, but she wanted this child out, or she might die. Her hands wrapped around the bedpost, and with one long scream, she pushed her pup out.

She gave birth to her son, Ethan. She had doubts the moment she began to show fear that the hurt and betrayal would make her despise him.

But from the moment she gave birth to him-the moment she laid eyes on her wonderful, beautiful child, which she cried for-she loved him, and she’d do anything for him.

Even though his stormy gray eyes gave away the genes of a certain alpha she hoped to forget, she still loved her son. He inherited that beautiful streak of white hair perched on his curly, dark auburn locks three years ago.

Now that Ethan was almost three, he waddled to Elise, who smiled as she watched her son run after the ball he played in the courtyard of the palace.

A place that was now her home, from a s***e to a queen, was something Elise would never have expected, not now that she had the respect and admiration of the whole pack she’d helped heal.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

From her powers, they all worshiped and respected her as Luna; some believed she was the moon goddess Selena’s reincarnation, but she never once showed them anything but respect, and now they all loved her.

“Good job, baby,” she praised Ethan, who ran once again to bring his ball.

Two pairs of eyes watched them from the patio, where Hayden stood with a wide smile filled with love and wonder in his gaze as he watched Elise and their son.

He raised and loves that boy like his own, even though it’s a well-kept secret between them and Abby. He knew his brother Holden still had his suspicions about Ethan’s birth, especially angry that he had lost the throne.

Speaking of the devil, Holden had emerged, leaning on the marbled pillar beside his brother on the railings as they both watched Elise and Ethan run around in the courtyard.

“Such a perfect family,” he muttered with a bitter tone. Now the smile on Hayden’s face had been completely erased as he turned to his brother. He could see that marred hatred in his gaze.

Even though they weren’t identical, one could tell that they were related, but now Holden’s appearance has taken a more haggard approach; his bred gown and his appeared cold and gloomy, especially since he was more fixated on his claim to the throne.

At times he used his authority to terrorize servants who Elise needed to save from him, but if there was one person he was terrified of, it was her. After he’d seen that true sheltered power that day, he dared not step on her toes, but he knew how to mess with Hayden’s buttons instead.

“What is it this time?” Hayden mutters, facing his twin. Holden had been trying to challenge him for years outside of his comfort zone, but it never worked.

“You know why I’m like this because you used the short way out, you planned this with her, and you knew she was your way to the throne; you made Father choose you before he passed, and you ruined my life,” he snarled.

He could smell the alcohol on his brother’s breath, drinking in broad daylight with no apparent fear of facing the alpha. “You sold yourself **e a w**e brother, just to get in between her legs; tell me how that worked out for you; have you ***d her yet?” He taunted.

Hayden let out a low growl. He took a step towards Holden until their faces were inches apart, Holden’s lips stretched, his eyes begging for a fight, and in seconds he grabbed Holden’s wrist, twisting it till there was a loud snap

“Agh! You b***d.” he groaned, his scream gaining the attention of Elise, who turned to them.

“Do not ever speak about my wife ever again,” warns Holden, who holds his wrist in a painful cry. He stiffens when he hears footsteps approaching; it is Elise, her gaze cold.

Her gown swayed with such elegance that a golden light followed her every step. She strutted to where Holden stood, and his gaze immediately lowered.

She sees his twitching wounded hand that Hayden had inflicted; she spared no emotion; she was to be the ice queen that her partner had taught her over the years.

Ethan leaves her hold, running to his father, who grabs him. Elise sees the joy on his face and cares as he picks Ethan up. The love that Hayden gave willingly swayed her heart and made her angry that he was being treated like this by Holden.

“You dare speak to your alpha that way?” She questions. She knew that Hayden still held regard for Holden, even though he tried to sabotage him many times. He was still his brother.

“No, Luna, this was just a mere misunderstanding,” he says, bowing his head to Elise. She holds that cold grace as she gives him a dismissive wave.

“Your punishment will be no treatment for a day for that hand. Leave,” she instructs as Holden immediately takes off. He gives off a sinister look filled with a dark promise before he is escorted out of the palace.

“Exquisitely done,” Hayden mutters. Elise feels her wolf melt from his breathy voice, and just the warm face of his fingers on her skin sets her body light with warmth.

The man who has watched and secured her reign for the last three years, the male who has stayed fiercely loyal no matter what, is her husband. She watched his eyes, wanting more than nothing but to leap up and kiss him.

She stiffened from her surprised thoughts and cleared her throat. “Do not worry about him; I and Ethan will go down to the ten for him to practice with the other children,” he said to Elise.

He knew she’d lacked sleep for a few nights now from preparing for this year’s festival, and he knew she needed rest. She watched their figures retreat with a goodbye wave to her excited son. “Bye, mama!” Hayden gazes at his last flirty smile before he leaves.

It did sing uncontrollably to her heart; these days her thoughts were filled with him, even her dreams too; she couldn’t count how many times she’s woken up soaked in her room, having dreams of Hayden f**g her. A burning need in her grew for the alpha male.

And no matter how she tried to deny it, Elise wanted Hayden to have her, she craved his touch. These feelings were growing every day, and it would only take a matter of time for her wolf to explode.

But she realized that her feelings for Hayden Blackwood were more than just a marriage of convenience.

And she had begun to desire him. What was this growing feeling?
