"This is unreal," I kept on saying.

I was in the room with Leo and a physician who tested my pregnancy status. The abortion pills Taylor gave me turned out to not work completely.

I turned out to have been carrying twins. Unfortunately, Taylor and Sebastian's pill killed one of the twins. Fortunately, the other twin survived.

And, throughout the time, I was ignorant. The physician left, leaving me alone with Leo.

"This can't be real," I said again. Leo walked to me and took me into his arms. I broke into tears on the spot.

I honestly did not know how to feel. I had mixed feelings. I felt bad for losing a child, but I was still grateful for the other one's life.

"Rita," Leo called out softly and tried to wipe off the tears on my face.

He gave me a light peck on my cheeks. "It turns out that I wouldn't be needing a pretend mate."

I let out a soft chuckle and he joined in the laughter.

"What was that all about, anyways?" I asked, still chuckling. "Introducing my Aunt as your Luna to be was just wild. I think I experienced what Sebastian felt when I left him for you." Leo frowned. "I'm not old. I was just born at a much later time after Ryker was born."

I laughed, teasing him the more and he turned away, acting like an annoyed spoiled child. I leaned closer to him and tried to pet him and he wrapped his arms around my waist. "What do you think we should call our child?" Leo asked and I smiled.

"I honestly can't think of a perfect name for our pup." I smiled. "This pup is our miracle child. We need a name that reflects this."

"And if it's a female?"

"We will name her after your mother," I replied and he leaned closer to me.

"Thank you," He said.

"For?"

"For bearing with me during hard times like this."

"Bearing with you? I honestly think that the reverse is the case here. You're the one bearing with me. It's not the other way around. If it were to be the other Alphas, they-" "The other Alphas are scum bags. They don't deserve you mentioning them."

"They would have left me for another beautiful she-wolf in a heartbeat," I said and Alpha Leo cupped my cheeks.

"Well, I'm not the other Alphas and I told you not to talk about them."

I smiled and hugged him. "I'm glad you are not."

The next day, Leo announced my pregnancy. The pack elders decided to cancel Leo's betrothal to Aunt Freya when I finally

gave birth and they saw the pup.

A few months later, I gave birth to a male pup. I decided to give him the name Atlas.

Things were beginning to go uphill for Leo and I. We both had our pup and Leo's throne was no longer threatened.

Leo and I were finally getting our happily ever after. I could not say the same for Janice and the Beta.
