Nolan’s POV

I delved deeper into the woods, the silent communion with my wolf, Khan, weighed heavily upon me. His thoughts resonated with a primal urgency, a fierce insistence that we must find Nesta at any cost

“Khan” I mummured, my voice laced with frustration, we’ve been through this. I don’t want Nesta to be found. I’ll do whatever it takes to ensure she remains hidden.”

But Khan’s response was resolute, his thoughts brimming with a steadfast determination that clashed with my own desires.

“She’s our mate, our bond to her is undeniable. I can’t stand by and watch her suffer I want her to be found. You should find HER” He insisted.

With a swift, decisive motion, I sprang into action, my movements fluid and precise. Before he even had a chance to react, I was upon him, my hands moving with lethal intent

In the blink of an eye, it was over. The man lay motionless at my feet, his lifeblood staining the forest floor. A sense of grim satisfaction washed over me as I surveyed my handiwork, knowing that had done what needed to be done.

But even as I stood there, a silent witness to the carnage I had wrought, a nagging sense of doubt grawed at the edges of my conscience. Had I done the right thing? Was I truly justified in taking another life?

The warm water cascaded over my weary body, I closed my eyes, allowing the steam to envelop me in its comforting embrace. With each passing moment, the tension in my muscles began in ease, replaced by a sense of calm that washed over me like a gente tide.

But my respate was short–lived, for it was not long before a knock sounded at the door, disrupting the tranquillity of my solitude. Only few people have access to my chamber.

With a resigned sigh, I wrapped myself in a towel and made my way to the entrance, wondering who could possibly be seeking me out at this late hour

I opened the door, I was greeted by the eager expression of my friend, their eyes alight with anticipation. To my surprise, it was my friend, their faces alight with excitement as they extended an invitation to join them at a clubs.

Despite my weariness, a small spark of curiosity flickered to life within me, beckoning me to embrace the promise of adventure that lay beyond the confines of the palace walls.

“Hey there,” they chirped, their voice brimming with excitement. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything too important”

1 shook my head, offering them a tired smile. “Not at all,” I replied, gesturing for them to come inside. I was junt about to unwind with a shower

His gaze softened with concern as he took in my weary appearance. “Rough day?” He ventured, his tone gentle.

I nodded, running a hand through my damp hair. “You could say that.” I admitted. “But I could definitely use a distraction right about now.

His smile widened, a mischievous glint in their eye. “Well, you’re in luck,” he declared, holding up a pair of tickets. “I happen to have tickets to the hottest club in town. What do you say? Ready for a night of fun and excitement!”

I hesitated for a moment, uncertainty flickering in the depths of my tired eyes. But then, as if on cue, a spark of curiosity ignited within me, beckoning me to embrace the promise of adventure that lay before me

With a small smile, I nodded. “Alright.” I said, the corners of my lips quivering upwards. “Lead the way!
