Sophia dodged it, "I'm gonna go to bed."
"I'll come with you!"
Then Drake followed her.
Sophia wanted to stay away from him, but he kept throwing himself at her. And there was nothing she
could do about it.
She could only heave a sigh in the end.
Drake came to the Riley Group the next morning.
The Riley Group's business had been on the rise again since Drake took over this time. The Riley
Group's achievement was way out of most national companies' leagues. And now it was even more
true.
People in the Riley Group were worried about another leadership change, but luckily, Rashad had left.
Shortly after Drake got to the office, Paul walked over and said, "Mr. Riley, a representative from
Antelligence are here."
"Send it in."
"Sure."
A woman then walked in with a smile in high heels and a specially chosen dress.
"Drake!"
Paul went stiff when he heard the voice. He was about to leave, but then he looked at her when he NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
heard it.
Drake raised his head with a frown, "Cathy, it's you!"
"That's right! Surprise!" She reached out her hands, "Come on! Hug it out!"
Paul's pupils got dilated as he had been working for Drake for years and had never seen any
audacious woman like her.
Drake accused in a low voice, "Stop it! Your cousin will get jealous if she sees it."
Paul got more confused. And he thought, 'Cousin? She's Mrs. Riley's cousin?'
'OMG! What's their relationship? It's so confusing!'
Drake noticed that Paul hadn't left, so he took a glance at him, "Don't you have other work to do?"
Cathy turned around to look at them with a smile, "Drake, your assistant looks cute. Does he have a
girlfriend? I can help him find one."
"He already got one. My sister."
Cathy turned around in surprise, "Who? Aria?"
"Yep!"
"Oh, I just remembered. I haven't met Aria this time. How about we call her to have lunch with us after
we're done with the work?"
Paul got Drake's words and walked out. But he was smart and left a crack open so people wouldn't
gossip about them.
"Aria probably doesn't have time. She's shooting a show."
Cathy was more surprised, "She's acting? What? She's in show business now?"
"Yes. She has always wanted to do this, so Sophia helped her. She's now a national celebrity."
"It's such a surprise. The little girl has turned out to be a star!"
Drake took a look at her, "Aren't you the same age as her?"
Cathy replied with a smile, "Yeah. But I still see her as a little girl."
"By the way, you work for Antelligence?"
"Yep. See, I'm here to talk business with you this time." Cathy passed over the file in her hand as she
said it. Then she pulled a chair and sat next to Drake.
Drake took a look at her. It was awkward to tell her to sit farther so he could just avoid physical contact
with her.
Paul saw them like this when he came in. There were other women who came to Drake's office for
business, but there was not one who dared to behave like that.
Paul wondered, 'Who's this woman? What's between her and Drake?'
Drake took a glance at Paul, "The coffee in your hand is about to spill."
Paul soon realized this when he heard it. He then put down the coffee and apologized, "I'm sorry, Miss
Lawson. The coffee is for you."
"Thank you."
Cathy behaved decently. She picked up the coffee and took a sip.
Paul had no reason to stay here, so he had to leave.
Cathy couldn't help smiling when she put down the coffee, "Your assistant was funny. Now I see why
Aria would pick him."
"Oh, I also plan to see your grandpa this time. How about we go to see him after lunch?"
Drake took a look at her, "He has passed away."
Cathy burst out crying like she heard some terrible news. She then covered her mouth.
"I'm so sorry, Drake. I didn't know that. When did he...?"
"It's been two months."
"I'm sorry. It never occurred to me..."
"It's okay. Let's get to work."
"Okay."
Cathy was talking to him about business while having coffee. And somehow, it spilled on her dress.
"Oh!"
Drake took a look at her with a frown, "What happened?"
"Sorry, Drake. I may accidentally spill the coffee on myself. Do you have a washroom here? I'm gonna
go get it off me."
"There's one in the lounge there. Are you gonna keep wearing that dress?"
Cathy shook her head.
Drake thought for a while, "You are about the same size as Sophia. I got some of her clothes here. You
can wear hers."
Cathy got a complicated look on her face, but she still replied, "Okay."
Cathy went to the lounge. She didn't get changed right away but sent Sophia a text.
"Sophia, let's have lunch together. I'm here with Drake in his office. You can meet me there if you are
ready."
Her mouth twitched into an evil smile. And she went to the washroom after that.
She heard Sophia's voice when she walked out. She knew Sophia would come but didn't expect
Sophia to be here on time.
Cathy pushed the lounge door open, looked at Sophia and said with a decent smile, "Sophia, you are
here."
She acted like she was the owner of this office, and Sophia was a guest instead.
Sophia noticed that Cathy was wearing her clothes which looked like a show-off.
Sophia got an unpredictable look on her face. Drake said first, "Sophia, she was having coffee and
accidentally spilled it on her dress. She didn't bring any clothes, so I offered her yours."
Cathy looked at Drake in astonishment as the Drake she knew in the past would never succumb or say
something in flattering manners to anyone.
Cathy felt like she didn't even know this man when Drake stared at Sophia and worried that she would
get jealous.
"It's okay; she can have any of my clothes. Drake, you know, my cousin's okay, but not any other
women."
