"Two billion. What do you say?"

Sophia was tired of being the peacemaker. She would just let them if they really wanted to get a

divorce. She couldn't stand the scene any more.

"Are you sure you'll give me two billion dollars?" doubted Bella.

"Yes!"

Bella thought about it, "OK. I'll sign the divorce paper right away if you give me the money."

"I'm on it. Sit tight."

She could give out five hundred million dollars anytime, but she still needed some time to raise two

sum of money if you didn't want a divorce. I could have given this money to you two and I can give you

more. But you insisted getting a divorce! What else can I do?"

"What do I have to do with it?" said William unhappily.

"Seriously? You want people to say Bella has been married into Lawson family for twenty years and

didn't get a penny by divorcing you? You want people to say we are as cold as a marble?"

William was at a loss for words. He hadn't thought of something like that. He just thought it was wrong

to give Bella that much money.

"People know how rich we are! Uncle William, you don't get a brain to think, but I do!" reminded

Sophia.

William wanted to talk back but chickened out. A long while after, he made up an excuse, "I don't have

a son. It's about the Lawson family. Will you care about that as well? "

"For God's sake, Uncle William, it's a hell of a job for you to set Cathy right and keep her in line. I can't

imagine how much worse it might be if you also got a son!"

Bella was over the moon. She looked at William and said with a triumphant smile, "William, from now

on, we're strangers. Don't ever try to reach me. I'm too good for you now! Good bye!"

Saying it, Bella left. William felt he couldn't be more humiliated. He was one of the Lawsons but he had

only ten million dollars in total, which was far less than two billion. How he wished he had that much

money too! He glanced at Sophia, who had read his mind, and looked away out of fear.

"Uncle William, it's your choice if you want a son, and I can't stop you. But you must marry a good girl

from a decent family. I'll absolutely say no if she marries you for our money only. You hear me?"

warned Sophia.

Sophia said nothing else and left. But William cheered up very soon by thinking that he could be free to

hook up with different hot chicks! Honestly speaking, life was still wonderful for him!

Cathy stopped Sophia as soon as she returned to the office.

"You got my parents to divorce! How dare you! Who the hell are you to do that?"

"It was their decision. I had nothing to do with it." said Sophia coldly.

"Stop fooling me! They wouldn't have divorced if you didn't get into it!" Cathy dragged her over and

tried to slap her, but Sophia had seen it coming and avoided it.

"I didn't encourage your father to get a divorce. And it wasn't about me. Your parents divorced and

you're the only one to be blamed! It's all YOUR FAULT!" said Sophia word by word.

"Why did you say it was..." Cathy got the warning from Sophia before she finished speaking. She was

afraid of Sophia. She put down her hand and said, "I hate that look on your face!"

Instead, she went in the office building. The security guards had been told not to let Cathy in. So, they

had kept an close eye on her, and she didn't seize any chance to sneak in. Finally, she had no choice

together. I thought you would come in with your husbands."

"Probably, they think we'll embarrass them!" sighed Sophia.

Drake happened to hear that when he came in and said discontentedly, "Stop talking nonsense,

Sophia. You know better than anyone else why we didn't show up together!"

"Hundreds of young ladies want to meet you guys in such an occasion. You're married but you're richer

and more charming. Reversely, we're getting old and ugly..." Sophia said on purpose.
