Winston held Millie’s hand and signaled her to remain calm.

Sebastian removed his mask, glanced at them, and said solemnly, “He’s not doing well.”

Upon hearing this, Millie took a step back. Without hesitation, Winston swiftly put his arm around Millie’s waist and pulled her into his arms.

“What do you mean?” Julia asked, her voice trembling as she choked back her tears.

Sebastian handed over the document and stated, “The patient is still under treatment. He has just gone into shock, and his condition isn’t stable. This is a critical illness notice. Madam Layla asked you to sign.

Sebastian’s words hit Millie hard.

Terrence lowered his voice and forced himself to calm down. While signing, he asked, “What are the odds?”

Sebastian sighed. “It’s hard to say.”

His words seemed to have given Arthur a death sentence. Millie’s legs went weak, and memories of Arthur flashed through her mind.

Terrence collapsed onto the chair. Winston rushed toward him and called out, “Terrence!”

Terrence waved his hands, signaling to Winston that he was fine.

Just then, a voice called out from the emergency room. “Dr. Lloyd, come in now!”

Sebastian looked up, a sense of unease stirring within his heart. He quickly made his way back to the emergency room.

Millie watched as Sebastian went in again, feeling extremely anxious. Suddenly, she thought of something.

She placed a hand over her heart and turned to Winston. “Please take care of my parents. I’m not feeling well. I need to get some fresh air.”

With that, she left immediately. Winston never saw Millie again until the red light in the emergency room dimmed and the door of the operating room was pushed open.

Sebastian and Layla came out together. The three of them immediately approached them. Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

“Mom, is Dad okay?” Terrence asked with concer

Layla gently patted Terrence’s arm, reassuring him. “Don’t worry, he’s fine. We’ve transferred him to the ward for observation.”

“Is he truly alright?” Julia repeated anxiously.

Layla replied, “Yes. He’s fine.”

Arthur was pushed out of the emergency room. Terrence didn’t say anything and quickly followed him

into the ward. Winston was the last one to follow

When he glanced across the emergency room, he saw a woman in a white coat, her figure tightly covered as she came out. Winston frowned. That figure bore a striking resemblance to Millie.

Winston wondered whether she was Millie. He couldn’t help but follow her, but she disappeared from. the emergency room lobby. As he looked around, she was nowhere to be seen.

Unbeknownst to him, Millie was carefully observing Winston from the staircase, tightly holding the white coat in her hand. It was a close call. She had almost been discovered by Winston.

Suddenly, her phone rang. Millle lowered her head and saw that it was Marvin calling. Marvin asked, “Boss, how did it go? Did you manage to save your grandfather?”

Millie’s eyes darkened as she replied, “Yeah. You delivered the medicine on time.”

Marvin chuckled. “It’s not due to my medication being delivered on time, but because of the exceptional acupuncture treatment you performed.”

Millie frowned. It was indeed exceptional, but her true identity was also exposed. In the emergency room earlier, Sebastian was very surprised when he saw her walk in with acupuncture needles.

As soon as she started the acupuncture, Sebastian immediately pointed at her and said, “You’re the one who saved me that day!”

Millie couldn’t hide it anymore.

In the ward, Winston was waiting for Millie at the door. He leaned against the wall, hands in his pockets, and looked inside. He appeared deep in thought.

When he noticed Millie, he turned his head and looked at her.
