Winston had never shown Millie any respect. So, why was he acting like some model husband now? As for Jake, Rachel thought he was like a sheep in wolf’s clothing.

Neither of them were decent men!

“Piss off!” Rachel shoved Jake aside, her temper flaring.

Jake was momentarily stunned. “Ms. Shaw, you don’t act like this online.”

The legendary Rachel Shaw was beautiful and kind. But she didn’t seem like a good- natured person now. In fact, she was like a ticking time bomb.

“You said it yourself. That’s my online persona!” Rachel bluntly retorted.

Jake was rendered speechless. On second thought, he thought she made sense. Celebrities were different on and off stage.

“Ms. Shaw, where do you live? I’ll give you a ride home,” Jake offered with a mischievous grin.

Rachel was irritated and snapped, “I’m perfectly capable of going home on my own. Do I really need you to take me there?”

“I have to obey Winston’s orders. Besides, you’re a friend of his wife. I need to make sure you get home safely,” Jake replied, his smile never faltering.

Rachel stopped in her tracks. Just as she was about to shoot back, Jake had already opened the car door.

“Please get in, Ms. Shaw,” he said with a smile.

“Millie Caldwell, keep your hands to yourself!” This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

Meanwhile, in another car, Millie’s hands were roaming everywhere. She opened her eyes and looked at the man before her. Placing her hands on his chest, she inhaled sharply.

“Sir, I can see that you’re quite attractive. How much for the night?”

Winston didn’t respond, while his expression darkened.

Millie pursed her lips. She flashed a smile and teased, “Why aren’t you saying

anything? Are you shy? Is this your first time?”

Winston scoffed before asking,

“What about you? Are you experienced?”

“Of course, I am,” Millie answered. She flicked her hair and added, “I’ve slept with enough men to fill a city.”

Winston glanced at her, his smile tinged with sarcasm. He thought Millie was so good at boasting that she could sell anything.

“Hey, you’re a gigolo, aren’t you? I’m feeling a little-” Millie’s words trailed off as Winston slammed on the brakes.

The car abruptly came to a stop in the middle of the road, causing her to jolt forward. Millie almost hit the windshield.

“What the hell? Why did you slam on the brakes all of a sudden?” she yelled.

Wearing a grim expression, Winston glared at her and chided, “Millie, look closely and see who I am!”

He couldn’t believe his ears. She had just called him a gigolo! Wasn’t she humiliating

him?

“I don’t care who you are. Just drive properly! You’re making me sick! I-”

Millie immediately covered her mouth with one hand and pounded on the car window with the other. She was asking Winston to open the door because she was

about to throw up.

He frowned and quickly opened the door for her.

Millie dashed out of the car and started to vomit on the side of the road. Meanwhile, Winston remained seated in the vehicle.

He stared at her figure with one hand on his forehead, utterly speechless. It was evident that she couldn’t handle her alcohol, yet she insisted on drinking.

Winston saw Millie as someone who was inexperienced but loved to party.

Then, he parked the car by the roadside before getting out. At that moment, Millie was leaning against a tree. Her expression clearly showed that she was in a lot of pain.

Winston scrunched up his face but couldn’t stop himself from bending down. He patted Millie’s back and asked, “Are you okay?”

“What do you mean by okay? I feel terrible!” Millie snapped back.

Winston didn’t hold back either. He scolded, “Why are you so worked up? It’s not like I forced you to drink. You brought it upon yourself!”

Millie immediately glared at him, her eyes widened. “How dare you curse at me! I’ll cut your pay!”

Winston was at a loss for words. Did she really think he was a gigolo? She even threatened to deduct his payment.
