He eyed Elizabeth, hinting at her.

But his thoughts were not something mere mortals could have guessed.

Elizabeth was sobbing and continued saying, "Mr. David, we're just not destined, you've married my sister and now my brother-in-law, I wouldn't dare to think otherwise. Let's just act as if nothing had happened." Samatha, following up to the act with a heartbroken face, said, "Oh my Elizabeth, how are you going to live on like this?"

The family orchestrated the act somewhat perfectly.

"Let's just take it as a summer dream." Elizabeth stood up, mesmerized, and looked deeply into David's eyes, "I don't want to make it difficult for Mr. David, nor do I want to steal my sister's man. Let me bear all these myself."

She held her face and ran outwards.
