Surprised Wife With Twins

Chapter 2079: Then I Would Kill Her

Chapter 2079: Then I Would Kill Her

Pregnant Jennifer's belly was gradually showing, and she no longer had early pregnancy symptoms. Her mood and condition were quite good. She had been spending most of her time at home recently, living a leisurely life akin to retirement. She designed clothes she liked, tended to flowers and fish, played chess with Marry, and occasionally practiced calligraphy. Her nature became increasingly gentle, like an elegant orchid.

Every day, she made video calls with Alfie and Diana to talk about life and studies. After dinner, Ivan set his phone to silent mode and took his wife's hand for a walk in the yard. The beautiful sunset bathed them in light; they looked like a perfect couple, radiating happiness in the air.

"Have you been busy with work lately?" Jennifer turned her eyes to him, her gaze filled with an admiring smile.

Ivan's demeanor softened completely when facing her, and his smile was genuine. "Not too busy."

"Please take care of yourself. I want you to be healthy and safe." This had always been Jennifer's wish.

Ivan had heard these warm words countless times, but each time he heard them again, he felt incredibly happy and considered himself the luckiest man in the world.

"Well, I still need to work hard to earn money for baby formula." He released her hand and put his arm around her shoulders while holding her hand with the other. "Jennifer, meeting you feels like I've used up all my luck. Since being with you, my fortunes have improved."

"Really?" The woman smiled happily. "It seems I'm your lucky star."

"Absolutely."

"By the way, how is Spencer doing lately?" Jennifer asked directly. "Did you criticize him about Angel?"

"I did not."

"Actually, you can't really blame him for this," Jennifer analyzed objectively. "If it were you at his age facing the same situation, what would you do?"Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Ivan answered almost without thinking, "Then I would kill her."

Jennifer looked at his handsome profile and serious expression and couldn't help but laugh.

"So, I didn't blame him," Ivan raised an eyebrow and turned to her. "Honestly, I understand him very well, but I can't condone such behavior; otherwise, he would become uncontrollable."

"Yes." Jennifer always felt that

Spencer was pitiful. Despite

appearing to lack nothing and even

being envied by many people, Spencer's loneliness, isolation, and even inferiority were feelings that only someone in his position could understand.

His awkward identity meant he was destined to be judged by the world. Fortunately, Ivan had steadfastly stood by Spencer's side over the years treating him like a younger brother, which spared him from much scorn and bullying.

Spencer both feared and admired Ivan deeply and was full of gratitude towards him. Although he wasn't good at expressing himself and rarely said thank you, he knew gratitude in his heart.

After their walk, the couple returned to the living room. Ivan took out his phone and saw three missed calls. He calmly called back.

"Mr. Marsh, Spencer has been having someone investigate a man named Rupert Brightwood recently," the person reported.

"Rupert Brightwood?" Ivan put one hand in his pocket. "Who is Rupert Brightwood? Why is Spencer investigating him?"

"I don't know; I only know that this man is studying in Canada. Spencer has sent people to investigate all his information there but hasn't found anything yet."
