Chapter 244 A Blind Date
Chapter 244 A Blind Date
"Ahem!" Charles leaned against the wall and coughed because of pain. But before he stood up straight,
Spencer strode forward.
"Do you think you have lived too long?" Spencer's face darkened, and he slowly uttered a few words,
but his eyes were full of killing intent. "I don't mind giving you a ride."
He had wanted to kill Charles for a long time. If it was not his superior class, who said that he would
take action to remove all the forces behind him, Charles could not live till now.
"Spencer." Terence rushed to him, grabbed his arm and said, "Put it down."
"Did you see what he just did? !" Spencer was so angry that he trembled all over. He stared at Terence
with hostility. "How can I let go of him!"
Charles smiled wickedly, "Then kill me!" He turned to look at Fiona and saw her red and swollen lips.
He raised the corners of his mouth and raised his hand to touch his lips. "Well, it smells good. I will
have no regrets with my death..."
"Damn it!" With his right hand grabbed by Terence, Spencer raised his left hand and punched on
Charles's face hard.
"Clunk!"——
Charles tilted his body and crashed into the desk. With a livid face, Spencer kicked him down. Then
Charles poured out several chairs and fell to the ground, unable to get up anymore.
Terence grabbed his arm and shouted at the police, "Are you all idiots?! Hurry up! Stop him! "
"Yes, yes!"
Several policemen rushed in, pulling up Charles and standing in front of Spencer. It was a mess.
Fiona was still shocked by what happened just now. She raised her hand and wiped her lips hard.
Looking at the furious Spencer, she called in a low voice, "Spencer..."
A soft voice came into his ears, like a spring breeze or a clear water. Hearing that, all the anger around
him suddenly disappeared and he closed his eyes fiercely.
"Spencer, my head hurts. Come here and have a look." Fiona gritted her teeth and pretended to be
uncomfortable with a miserable expression. She didn't know if it would work.
As Fiona expected, when Spencer opened his eyes and saw her frown, he was stunned and
immediately put on a pitiful expression. He fiercely shook off the person beside him, glared at Charles,
and rushed to Fiona.
"What's wrong? Headache? How could you get a headache? " He grabbed Fiona's hands and looked
at her with a concerned look. Seeing the hickeys on her neck, he was overwhelmed with rage. The air
around him turned cold. "What's going on?" he asked in a gloomy voice
Facing his intimidating manner, Fiona was in a dilemma for a moment, with a myriad of thoughts in her
mind. Before Spencer got angry, she gently wrapped her arms around his waist, leaned close to him,
and said in a mournful tone, "You're so fierce."
Her soft and obedient tone softened Spencer's heart. He knew that Fiona was pretending to be so that
he wouldn't cause any more trouble to Charles, but he still couldn't push her away. He let out a sigh
and clasped Fiona into his arms. There was a moment of complexity in his dark eyes, and the anger
that had just turned into a trace of tenderness. He whispered, "I'll take you out."
"Okay." Fiona nodded and let out a sigh of relief.
Terence breathed a sigh of relief. All the policemen in the room breathed a sigh of relief. At the same
time, some people held Charles's hand tightly, but he stared at Fiona. They walked slowly out when
Fiona was held by Spencer in his arms. All of a sudden, something came to Charles's mind. He had to
admit for the first time that he was a loser in front of Spencer.
Perhaps it was because Fiona felt Charles's burning eyes that she was about to turn a corner that she
turned her head and looked into Charles's deep eyes.
Shocked, Fiona was speechless. When did the smile on Charles's face disappear? And the affection in
his eyes
"Stop looking." There was a deep voice from top of her head, and Spencer's arm moved slightly. There
was a trace of unhappiness in his tone.
Hearing this, Fiona came to herself and turned around. "Well Oh, I almost forgot. " Fiona was happy
and she grabbed Spencer's sleeve and looked at him cheerfully, "I know where you antidote is!"
The tone of surprise spread over the quiet cell, and Terence suddenly breathed a sigh of relief. Charles
kept his head down and no one could see his expression.
In the corridor, Spencer stopped walking. He didn't look happy. Instead, he was more worried and
blamed, "Do you know how dangerous the person in the room is? Do you know how he treated you... "
But before he could finish his words, Spencer suddenly embraced Fiona into his arms and continued,
"Please don't do such a dangerous thing again."
"Don't worry. I've brought my gun." With a fake smile on her face, she returned, "Thank you for teaching
me how to use it, Mr. Spencer."
"If I know that you have nothing to fear just because of the weapon, I won't teach you." There was a
hint of relief in his voice. If he had not found that the weapon was missing in the bedroom of the
residential compound, he would not have thought that Fiona would come to find Charles...
In the interrogation room, Terence shook his hands and looked at Terence. It was hard to believe that
he really liked Fiona.
Charles was escorted to his cell. Terence threatened, "If you dare to lie to Fiona, I won't beat you up
next time."
"You have no chance." Terence didn't make any response when he heard what Charles said. He
snorted and then left. But later he got the meaning of it, because Charles committed suicide in the
prison that night.
"I'm fine. I don't have the antidote. It doesn't matter." Outside the prison, Spencer and Fiona stood by
the car waiting for Terence. They had kissed each other so many times that Spencer wanted to erase
the mark that Charles left on her body.
"No way." "I don't want you to forget me again," Fiona added Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
"I won't." Spencer rubbed her back and added, "And don't leave without saying goodbye."
"I know," replied Fiona with a smile
When Terence walked out of the prison, he received a glare from Spencer from a distance. He rubbed
his nose and said as he walked over, "It seems that I'll be blacklisted by Mr. Spencer from now on."
"It's good that you know it." Spencer narrowed his eyes and warned, "From now on, you are not
allowed to go out with Fiona alone."
Terence shrugged and asked, "How do you know it was me who brought Fiona here?"
"When I called you and asked you to cough, you didn't even ask the reason why you coughed. The first
reaction of others was to ask why. Your flaws are so obvious! And his voice sounds like yours. "
"What a discerning man!" Terence gave him a thumbs up.
"Don't try to praise me. It won't change your image in my mind." Spencer snorted.
"Hey, hey, what's my image in your mind?"
"Huh! Don't you know?"
Looking at they were joking, Fiona couldn't help laughing. Life had never been so beautiful before.
On their way back to the family residence, Fiona told Spencer where Charles's new laboratory was
there, where antidotes and science people were. So Spencer asked someone to go there immediately.
It was not until noon that Fiona got off the car. She fumbled for her phone in her pocket, but to her
surprise, she found something like a stone. She frowned and took the 'stone' out of her pocket.
The moment Fiona saw the huge stone, she took a deep breath. It was a gem she had only seen on
the textbook Emerald! The heart-shaped emerald!
"What's wrong?" The moment Spencer got off the car, he caught sight of Fiona who was standing still
beside him. He made his way to her.
"Spencer, this!" Turning around, Fiona handed what she had got to him.
Suddenly, he frowned. It was the emerald of the Wen family, who had been robbed away by Charles.
"Why is it in my pocket? Is it..." Fiona covered her mouth with her hand at once.
"When we arrested Charles, we didn't find that emerald. So we thought he had hidden it in some place.
It turns out that he kept it on his body." He glanced at emerald again. And he thought that it must be put
in Fiona's pocket by Charles when he was approaching her. Therefore, he felt very unhappy.
"I'll give them back to Ryan." It seemed that she was holding a hot potato in her hand and was about to
leave.
"I will send someone else to return it back." But before she could finish her words, Spencer grabbed
her hand and said in a serious tone, "Don't ever go to meet them again, no matter Ryan or Charles."
Fiona nodded blankly at the thought of Charles's eyes when she was just leaving there.
At the same time, in the he family house not far away from the Cheng family's courtyard. As soon as
Terence entered the house, his mother rushed over as if she had discovered a new continent. "Wow,
my son has come back. Come here. I just talked to Linda about you. " Sherry, Terence's mother, wore
home wear clothes. She looked radiant since she stayed at home all year round. The smile on her face
was in sharp contrast to Terence's expressionless face.
"What do you want to talk about?" Terence walked into the living room. When he saw the table full of
plates, he couldn't help but pinch his nose. "Are you talking about arranging blind dates for me again?"
"My son is so clever." Holding Terence's hand, Sherry sat on the sofa and said, "Spencer has brought
his daughter back recently. Wow, that girl is so lovely and she calls me grandma all the time. It really
melted my heart. But look at you, you're single. As for me, I don't want to force you to marry right away.
I just want to have grandchildren when I'm old... " Seeing that Terence didn't say anything, Sherry
advised, "These girls are different from the last time. If you don't like stubborn girls, I will find some cute
girls for you. Go to see them, my lovely son? Okay? Just want to see how she looks like! Hmm? "
Terence opened his mouth and said awkwardly, "I didn't say I wouldn't go."
