The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart

Chapter 985

The black sedan screeched to a halt, its tires squealing on the asphalt. Curses and the sounds of a struggle filled the air.

Brittany lay sprawled on the floor, fighting fiercely. Her delicate wrists chafed raw, blood dripping steadily from the ropes binding her.

Outside, the clash intensified.

With a burst of adrenaline, Brittany tore free from her bonds and ripped off the blindfold.

Peering through the window, she saw Isaac grappling with several thugs. He was outnumbered, the goons wielding knives. Isaac couldn't fend off the relentless assault.

Brittany crawled into the driver's seat, ignited the engine, and yelled, "Zakky, get out of the way!"

"Damn it, who left that dame alone in the car?" the head goon spat angrily.

Seizing the opportunity, Isaac landed a solid punch on the man's face. The thug cried out in pain and crumpled to the ground.

The others swarmed Isaac.

Caught off guard, Isaac took a blade to the back, coughing up blood, and dropped to his knees.

Brittany's eyes blazed with fury. She slammed her foot on the gas pedal and barreled towards the attackers!

The fierce wind turned into blades, cutting deep and splattering hot blood across the window, blooming a grotesque flower of gore. Thuds of heavy bodies hitting the ground echoed one after the other. Brittany snapped back to reality, trying to stop the car only to find the brakes were shot. Her face drained of color.

"Zakky, move!"

The steering was gone, too.

Isaac, realizing the dire situation, didn't back off but instead ran to the car's side!

Brittany thought Isaac had lost his mind-this was a high-speed chase.

Suddenly, the window shattered, and his hands reached in. In the next second, the door swung open.

Isaac, reeking of blood, squeezed into the car. He wrapped his arms around Brittany, who recoiled from the metallic scent. He swung open the driver's door and pushed Brittany out, clinging to the wheel, timing his exit.NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.

But the sedan bucked violently, veering off its intended path!

Brittany hit the ground hard, her head striking the road, blood oozing from her forehead. Overwhelmed by ether and injury, she watched the car roll, voiceless in shock.

Fear like she had never known consumed her. Her slender body trembled, waves of despair crashing over her.

She managed to pull out her phone, hands shaking, trying to call for help.

But one of the men she had hit was getting up, a steel pipe in hand, advancing slowly.

Brittany, oblivious to the danger, dialed Yuri's number. "Dad..."

Yuri was startled by her voice. "Bri?"

"Go to hell!"

An enraged shout erupted as Brittany turned to see the pipe descending fiercely upon her!

Yuri stared at the disconnected call and remembered Brittany's choked sobs, instantly aware that something was terribly wrong.

"Trace Brittany's whereabouts, now!"

The butler was efficient, finding within minutes that Brittany was missing.

"What are you waiting for? Keep looking!"

Yuri immediately contacted the police, only to learn someone had already reported an incident an hour ago. Moreover, they had located the GPS on Isaac! Yuri hung up and rushed to the hospital with his entourage.

How had a wedding turned into this chaos?

Yuri remained silent throughout the drive, the butler beside him visibly terrified.

Upon arriving at the hospital, they were met by the police.

"Mr. Lynette." The officer approached.

"How is she? My daughter?" Yuri's world revolved around Brittany.

"Mr. Lynette, please, stay calm," the officer soothed. "Ms. Lynette inhaled a significant amount of ether, suffered a head injury, and she's currently in the ER."

"And Isaac?"

Yuri was furious. How had he failed to protect Bri?

The officer's expression clouded. "Mr. Isaac's vehicle was involved in a severe crash and went off a cliff. The search is still ongoing."

Yuri's body shook, his eyes filled with shock.
