The Ceo’s Convict Wife

Chapter 1330

“Okay, mint green color is popular this year and the dress in green is sold well,” the saleslady said, and then she brought a green dress in a medium size for Hanna.

Hanna went into the fitting room with the dress, while Calvin stood at the entrance of the store and glanced at the lilac dress hung on the shelf not far away.

Lilac was Rosalie’s favorite color. Calvin once told Rosalie that he would buy her a beautiful lilac dress.

Later, Calvin did buy a lot of lilac dresses, but none of them was really sent to Rosalie.

Those dresses were evidence that Calvin loved and missed Rosalie. But meanwhile, they were also evidence that he was suffering from the pain of separation from the one he loved. Now, they were still in the closet of his villa, and no one was allowed to move them.

And just now, seeing Hanna wanted to try on a lilac dress, Calvin almost subconsciously asked Hanna to switch to a mint green one, which meant that he couldn’t let go of his feelings for Rosalie at all.

Thinking of this, Calvin looked away from the dress and looked elsewhere.

But suddenly, Calvin fixed his eyes on a familiar figure not far away in shock.

Calvin thought, “That’s Rosalie!”

Calvin didn’t expect to meet Rosalie there.

After a while, Rosalie seemed to feel the gaze. She looked up in Calvin’s direction. Their eyes met immediately

Rosalie walked slowly to Calvin and said, “What a coincidence! I met you here. You… Are you here to help someone buy something?” After all, Calvin was standing at the entrance of a store selling women’s clothes now.

“No, I accompany someone to buy something here.” Calvin’s eyes fixed on Rosalie’s belly which was bulged slightly.

Now Calvin could clearly see that Rosalie was a pregnant woman. She had rosy cheeks. She seemed to be in good physical condition, but… Calvin knew that the child in Rosalie’s belly might affect her health.

“I asked Lillian to accompany me here to buy some clothes for pregnant · women. Then I’ll leave with Lillian first,” Rosalie smiled.

“Wait!” Calvin couldn’t help stopping Rosalie. It was rare to meet Rosalie by chance. He didn’t want Rosalie to leave so soon.

“Anything else?” Rosalie asked.

“Are you alright recently…? Your health…” Calvin asked.

“I’m fine,” Rosalie answered.

Lillian chipped in, “If there is something wrong with Rosalie’s health, how can Jonathan let her go shopping with me like this?”

Calvin pursed his lips. At this moment, the door of the fitting room opened. Hanna walked out and was about to ask Calvin to help her check whether the dress was suitable when she saw two women standing in front of Calvin. She guessed that Rosalie should be pregnant because she also noticed Rosalie’s belly which was bulged slightly.

Hanna could tell that Calvin knew these two women.

Hanna was stunned. For a moment, she didn’t know whether to step forward or pretend not to know Calvin.

The saleslady said to Calvin, “Sir, your friend has come out.”

Calvin turned around and looked at Hanna who threw an awkward smile at him. Before Hanna could say anything, Calvin stepped forward and naturally held her hand. “Come on, Hanna, let me introduce you to my friend.”

“Okay,” Hanna answered and followed Calvin to Rosalie and Lillian.

“This is Hanna Zimmerman, my girlfriend. This is Rosalie Leighton, a friend of mine. And this is Lillian Quinn. She is Rosalie’s friend.” Calvin introduced them to each other.

“Hello,” Hanna smiled and greeted Rosalie and Lillian.

“Hello.” Rosalie and Lillian also greeted Hanna, but there was a surprise in their eyes, especially Rosalie. She thought, “Just now Calvin said this lady is his girlfriend? So Calvin has started a new relationship?”

“Are you dating?” Rosalie asked.

“Yeah, but we have just started our relationship,” Hanna said.

“I didn’t expect that I would fall in love with Hanna, but maybe that is love. It comes unexpectedly,” Calvin said. Hanna could clearly feel that Calvin tightened his grip on her hand as if he was urging her to cooperate with him.

Hanna knew at once that Calvin wanted her to act in front of the two women and convince them that she was his girlfriend.

Hanna thought, “So one of these two women is actually the one who broke Calvin’s heart?”

Rosalie looked at Calvin and Hanna seriously. “Are you really dating?”

“Could this be fake?” Calvin held Hanna’s hand and pressed it on his chest. “Rosalie, If there is a person in this world who could save me, then I think it will be Hanna.”

Rosalie was stunned. Hanna, however, asked anxiously, “What’s wrong? Are you ill? Is it serious?”

Hanna looked anxious, and it seemed that she was not acting at the moment.

Among the four people present, only Hanna didn’t understand why Calvin said that she could “save” him.

“I’m not sick, and I’m very healthy,” Calvin said. “I just mean that if I am in danger, you would save me.”

Hanna breathed a sigh of relief. “You scared me just now. If you are in danger, I will save you. You’re my boyfriend.”

Hanna thought, “Even though we are just pretending to be a couple, I will save you.”

“So I wish you a sweet relationship,” Rosalie said. She then looked at Hanna. “Miss Zimmerman, Calvin is a good man. I hope you can also cherish him.”

“I will. I love Calvin very much, and I’ll cherish him.” Hanna was doing her best to act as Calvin’s girlfriend.

“Okay, then I’ll leave first. See you,” Rosalie said.

“Okay,” Hanna smiled.

When Rosalie and Lillian left, Hanna looked at her right hand which was still held tightly by Calvin as if they had been fixed together.

“Well… Can you let go of my hand?” After all, Calvin’s friend was no longer there.

Calvin loosened his hand. Only then did Hanna notice that there was sweat in Calvin’s palms. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Are you nervous just now?” Hanna asked abruptly.

“Nervous?” Maybe Calvin was really nervous. He planned to let Rosalie meet Hanna one day. But he didn’t expect it to come so soon.

Calvin was afraid that Rosalie would notice something suspicious. He was also afraid that Rosalie would not believe that he was really in a relationship with Hanna. He was afraid that everything would not develop as he expected.

But fortunately, Hanna was smart and reacted at once.

Their hands finally separated. Hanna pretended to be relaxed and said, “How about I wear this dress for the opening ceremony?”
