Chapter 29
Chapter 29
“Yes, let’s do that!”
The Lawson family members got up to their feet. They raised their glasses to William.
Wyatt was the only one who remained in his seat like an outlier. He did not budge.
“Why aren’t you standing, Wyatt? We’re giving Mr. Porter a toast,” Maya rebuked him.
Wyatt glanced coldly at William. “Giving him a toast? Does he deserve it?”
Wyatt was the one who facilitated the partnership between Hayley Pharmaceuticals and the Moore family. However, William was claiming all the credit. What a joke.
Maya slammed her hand on the table. She chided, “What are you talking about? Mr. Porter is the Lawson family’s benefactor. How dare you be so disrespectful toward him?”
“Forget it, Aunt Maya.”
William interrupted. “It’s my fault. I was the one who broke Wyatt’s whiskey. I’m sure that he’s mad at me. I can understand him.” Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
By this, he was hinting that Wyatt was the petty one.
“That was just two bottles of alcohol. It’s such a trivial matter! Look at the wine in Mr. Porter’s hands. That is a Romaine County of the highest grade. Each bottle is worth 20 thousand dollars. Isn’t that better than your whiskey?” Maya said arrogantly as she raised her glass that was filled with red wine.
“Mom, it’s called Romanée–Conti,” Hayley corrected her awkwardly.
“I don’t care what it’s called. Whatever it is, it’s still better than Wyatt’s.” Maya finished the wine in her glass in a single breath. “That’s good wine. It has a good finish.”
Cole had a frown on his face. How knowledgeable was she about alcohol? Wyatt’s bottle of whiskey was equivalent to five bottles of Romanée–Conti.
“Hayley, I heard that you were signing the contract with the Moores a few days ago. How is the company doing right now?” Charles Lawson asked.
“It’s looking up, Uncle Charles.”
While Hayley said that, she shot a quick glance at Wyatt. “We are currently working with the Moore family to build a world class production factory. I don’t have enough cash at hand. So, I’m preparing to increase our shares and raise our capital.“/
William’s eyes lit up upon hearing that.
“Hayley Pharmaceuticals has been going upmarket these few days. Its stock value has almost doubled. Increasing shares and raising capital is very simple. There would probably be many people fighting to get their hands on Hayley Pharmaceuticals‘ shares.”
Chapte
“That’s right. My estimation tells me that the share price for Hayley Pharmaceuticals still has the potential to grow five times more. We just have to wait till the new factory in partnership with the Moore family begins production,” Hayley said proudly.
Five times!
The Lawson family members‘ eyes lit up.
They were now rich. They were also now dabbling in stocks.
“Hayley, five times is still an underestimation! Based on my experience, Hayley Pharmaceuticals‘ shares have the potential to grow by at least ten times! William said with a smile on

his face.
“I hope your words do come true, Mr. Porter!” Hayley was beaming. If the share price did increase tenfold, she would become one of the top plutocr
ten billion dollars. worth ten
She was achieving what she had told Wyatt she would achieve.
Tenfold!
William’s words made the Lawsons‘ jaws drop.
Tenfold? That meant that if they were to put in an investment of a million dollars, that amount would become ten million.
Naturally, the looks in the Lawsons‘ eyes became fiery. Coincidentally, Hayley was planning to issue new shares. Wasn’t this a great opportunity for them to get rich?
“Hayley, how do you plan to create more shares?” William asked.
“I plan to create more shares to sell in the stock market,” Hayley clarified.
William chuckled. “How could you let outsiders benefit from this? Everyone knows that the price of Hayley Pharmaceuticals will surge. So, I suggest that you choose another method. You could sell private shares so that our relatives and friends get first dibs…”
There were two methods for stock creation. The first was to sell the shares publicly. The other method was as William suggested. They could sell their shares privately to institutional traders and individual
investors.
The Lawsons were in agreement with William’s suggestion. They applauded and cheered.
“Hayley, Mr. Porter is right. Us Lawsons should be the ones to get rich first.”
“You should sell the shares privately. We’ll be the first ones to purchase them!”
