The Ex-Husband's Revenge

Chapter 174

Chapter 174

Harvey scolded coldly.

"Apologize? Who's he to receive an apology for someone like me? Not a chance!" Cynthia did not accept it in the slightest.

"You..." Smoke nearly emitted from Harvey's nose, and he was just about to say something when Leon interrupted him.

"I don't need an apology! I just want to go home a little earlier, and I hope the Shears won't put too much pressure on me!" Leon snorted coldly before turning around to leave. He did not want to be involved with them anymore.

"Don't leave, Mister Wolf!" Harvey was shocked and he immediately hurried forward to stop Leon.

"What is it now, Mister Shear?" Leon asked calmly.

"Mister Wolf, we're sorry for the earlier misunderstanding. We shouldn't have doubted your medical skills, and above all, we shouldn't have chased you away. We were in the wrong, and I wish to apologize to you on my grandfather's behalf. I hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive us this once and come back with us to treat my grandmother..." Harvey bowed to Leon, and it was evident that his attitude was much more sincere than Cynthia's.

"I'm sorry, Mister Shear. I'm not that confident in treating Madam Shear's condition. I apologize for not being of much help. Besides, I've already suggested to Miss Shear that you should ask Graham to try and cure your grandmother. He is the Holy Doctor, after all, so his medical skills are much better than mine. I'm sure he has a way to cure Madam Shear's illness," Leon repeated what he said to Cynthia before.

"I don't suppose you're aware that Graham is currently at our home right now. He told us that there's nothing he could do about my grandma's condition..." Harvey felt very embarrassed and explained the situation briefly. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

"I see..." Leon was stunned for a moment. He knew that Graham, the Holy Doctor, was very powerful, but he did not expect Phoebe's condition to be so tricky that Graham was helpless to do anything about it.

"Mister Wolf, we were the ones who are in the wrong for everything we did. Think of this as me begging you to come with us and heal my grandmother..." Harvey pleaded earnestly

.

"I'm sorry. There's really nothing I can do. There are many good doctors here in Springfield City, so it'd be better for your family to hire one of them!" Leon hesitated for a moment and considered the Shear's powerful influence before finally shaking his head to refuse Harvey's request. After all, Leon feared for his own life if something were to go awry.

"But..." Harvey got very desperate. Although there were many famous doctors in Springfield City, how could anyone hope for them to cure his grandmother's illness if even the most skilled Holy Doctor, Graham Eliot, was unable to do so?

There was no way Harvey would give up that easily, not when Leon was the only person who could cure Phoebe!

"Mister Wolf, saving a life is the highest good deed anyone could ever hope to achieve. I beg you to please have some compassion and save my grandma..." Harvey gritted his teeth and knelt in front of Leon with a thud.

"Mister Shear! What are you doing?! Get up!" Leon was startled and immediately reached out to help Harvey up, but he seemed to be a more powerful marital artist than Cynthia, and his refinement appeared to be far more powerful than Leon's too. Despite his best attempt to pull Harvey up, Leon still failed to get Harvey to budge.

"I'll keep kneeling until you agree to help!" Harvey was very determined.

Upon seeing that scene, Cynthia—who stood next to him—was so overwhelmed with a shock that her mind went blank.

"Are you crazy, Harvey? You're the Shears' future heir! Are you… Are you actually kneeling for this guy? Have some decency, for goodness' sake!" Cynthia had an incredulous look on her face.

"That's rich coming from you! If you're not yet aware, this is all your fault! Now get down on your knees, apologize to Mister Wolf, and ask for his forgiveness!" Harvey scolded angrily.
