The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 1550

"Hey, handsome. Mind if I take a picture?"

A flock of elaborately-dressed young women mobbed Frank as soon as he alighted, having taken out their phones. "Feel free to."

Frank's affable reaction drew a chorus of squeals.

"How old are you? Would you like to go out for drinks later?"

Frank merely smiled politely at the enthusiastic women and walked around the car to open the other door.

An ice queen dressed in white, projecting a strong presence and a cool demeanor alighted.

In fact, as soon as Helen made her appearance, the other guests passing by were all staring and gaping at her, with many men staring daggers at Frank jealously. "Shit, such a beauty walks the streets of Norsedam?"

"Maybe? I've never seen her around..."

"So cold, so beautiful! I'd like her to step on me with those heels..."

"What the hell? Get a hold of yourself, man!"

Despite the endless comments and remarks, Helen was used to it and remained her cool, composed self as she wrapped a hand around Frank's arm.

She had prettied up exquisitely today, and the women who flirted with Frank earlier could not even hope to match that and hung their heads just then.

Still, Helen leaned in and asked under her breath, "What were you talking about with those ladies?"

Frank reared his chin and said solemnly, "They're inviting me to a hotel later tonight."

"Bleurgh."

Helen snorted and threw a soft jab on his shoulder. It was such a girly contrast to her ice queen demeanor that the men around them were left gaping again.

In the distance, Gina Zonda was waving at them. "Helen, over here!"

She had been chatting with a group of middle-aged folks and was endlessly proud to see her daughter stealing the spotlight like a gem. "Mom."

Frank and Helen slowly headed over to join Gina as the crowd cleared a path for them.

The middle-aged folks chatting with Gina all turned toward Helen too, their eyes twinkling as they praised her endlessly.

"Is that your daughter, Gina? She's a work of art!"

"Exactly. I thought for a moment that she's a goddess gracing us mortals with her presence."

"Oh, you're exaggerating." Gina smiled, rearing her chin proudly.

Despite her humble reaction, she was endlessly buoyed by the flattery showered her daughter's way.

And her daughter was a natural beauty who absolutely deserved all the praise.

Helen was gracious too and openly carried herself with poise-as the girlboss of a major enterprise, a scene like this was only appropriate for her to flaunt herself.

It was Frank who felt a little out of place.

"Oh, Gina? Is that your son-in-law?"

Just as everyone was hovering around Helen a

flamboyantly-dressed middle-aged woman spotted Frank and hid a smile of disdain as she continued. "Tut, tut. Where did you get him from? And that suit... Don't tell me it's a bargain item from one of our stores? Come on, Gina... Don't you have standards?"

Gina's face fell at the middle-aged woman's scoffing.
