And someone who truly wanted to take care of me.
As I glanced toward the other side of his bed, where he was asleep on his stomach, I still couldn’t believe he was mine. Now that the whole world knew we were together, courtesy of a Celebrity Alert, we found no reason to hide our relationship. Dominick still didn’t like the limelight-I certainly couldn’t blame him-but when we went out for lunch or dinner, there were shots of us holding hands. When I’d attended an industry event last week, he had been right by my side on the red carpet. He was along for the ride, and he wasn’t allowing anything-paparazzi, online pictures, articles, alerts-to get in the way of us.
I was running my fingers through his hair as he stirred, slowly opening his eyes, reaching for me. “Morning, gorgeous.”
“Mmm.” I felt the smile on my lips as I looked at him, the tousled hair he always woke up with, the shadow on his delicious cheeks-a sight that wouldn’t stop turning me on. “Good morning.”
“How did you sleep?”
I stretched my arms over my head, adjusting the fluffy pillow. “Aside from hurting everywhere”-I laughed-“really well.”
“I was a little rough on you last night.”
I winked. “A little?”
“That wasn’t my plan.” He cupped my breast, grazing my nipple back and forth. “Sometimes, you make it impossible to go easy on you.”
“I loved it-you know that.”
He grabbed my chin before lowering to my waist. “What time do you have to film?”
“Not until two.” I yawned. “I have the whole morning off.”
“Do you want to get some breakfast?”
I nuzzled my face against his chest. “I would really love that.” A thought came into my head. “Except the only thing I have to wear is that purple dress I came over in last night, and you know how I feel about the walk of shame. We’ll just have to stop by my place first.”
He kissed my cheek, just below my earlobe. “You left some running clothes here last week. I had my housekeeper wash them for you. They’re in the top drawer of the island in my closet.”
I remembered that outfit-the yoga pants and tank top and sports bra I’d forgotten and been meaning to grab. Now, they were in a drawer along with his things.
I really liked the direction this was going.
“Even better,” I whispered.
With his hand on my face, he traced my bottom lip. “I’m going to wash up and make a few phone calls. We’ll leave in thirty?”
I nodded. “Perfect.”
I watched him get out of bed, and that delectable, long, thick cock bounced with each step, the muscles in his arms so defined as they hung at his sides, his tight, rippled abs flexing as he walked.
Good Lord.
I went into his massive closet, finding the drawer in his center island, and put the bra on over my head, followed by the pants and tank top. Using the mirror along one of the walls, I twisted my hair into a messy bun and tied it with the elastic I kept on my wrist. By the time I exited, he was coming out of the bathroom, still not a stitch of clothing on his body.
I stood frozen next to his bed, watching him head to his closet.
He laughed as he neared. “Can I get you something?”
I shook my head, and then I changed my mind and nodded instead. “You.”
A smile joined his face. “I think I’ve met my clone.”
He continued walking, his incredible ass in my view.
“I was never like this before you,” I told him. “You’ve … ruined me.”
“Ruined?”
“Yep.” I went into the bathroom. “Now, all I think about is your dick.”
I shut the door, and at the sink, I covered my finger with a line of toothpaste, brushing it across my teeth and finishing off with a swish of mouthwash. I quickly scrubbed my face next and dried off with one of his extra-soft towels.
When I made it back into his bedroom, I could hear Dominick in his office, which was only a few doors down. Before I went into the kitchen for coffee, I found my purse and took out my phone to check the texts that had come in overnight.
Charlize: Loved hanging with you at the club last night.
Me: SO happy you came. Filming is much more fun with you around.
Charlize: Just one more month, babe. Then, we’ll only have to worry about the paparazzi and not those god-awful cameras that add ten pounds.
Me: The countdown is already happening in my head.
Charlize: At least things have been Daisy-free. That must be somewhat of a relief?
Me: The sit-down with Dominick and her team worked, I guess. But you know her silence bothers me as much as her nasty words.
Charlize: I know, but we’re focusing on the good-like the whopping hangover I woke up with this morning because of YOU. Are you not dying too?
Me: Dominick drained all the alcohol from me … in his pool.
Charlize: Slurp. I’m obsessed with that man.
Me: That makes two of us. Dinner tomorrow night? Off camera, obviously.
Charlize: We’re on, girlfriend. But first, I’m coming over to raid your closet to find something to wear. While I was there yesterday, I saw that the studio had delivered the new Gucci blazer, and I’m dying to get my hands on that sucker.
Me: It’s yours. XO
“Are you ready?”
I glanced up from my phone and joined Dominick in the doorway. “Yes, and I’m starving.”
He grabbed my ass and kissed me. “Good. Let’s go.”
I followed him to the garage and climbed into the passenger seat.
“Pancakes?” he asked.
I was already dreaming about the cinnamon roll stack I’d had there the second time I went, the cream cheese icing falling off the sides in globs. “It’s like you know me or something.”
His hand went to my thigh when he wasn’t shifting, and since he lived so close to me, the cafe only a block from my place, it didn’t take long before we were there. He parked in front, clasping my hand as we walked in. The hostess led us toward the back and into a booth along the wall of windows.
“Coffee?” the waitress asked as she came to our table.
“For both of us,” Dominick replied. “And some orange juice as well.”This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
“I’ll be right back with your drinks and to take your orders.”
I read the menu even though I already knew what I wanted. “What are you feeling?”
He sighed, crossing his hands under his chin. “You’ve got me craving all this sweet shit, so what the hell do you think?”
