The Martial Unity

Chapter 2537 Changing Civilization

Chapter 2537  Changing Civilization

Human civilization had markedly changed in the span of five months at a rate thought to be impossible. The larger the scope, the longer it took for change to occur under normal circumstances.

However, the Era of Darkness was anything but normal.

The Human Summit would go down in history as one of the most epochal political events in the history of mankind.

It was the summit where the leaders of human civilization learned of the true horrors of the Beast Incursion.

It was also the summit where they gained the power to deal with them. Almost immediately after the Human Summit concluded, the Beggar's Sect aggressively distributed all the promised knowledge and information on the solutions that the Dawnbringer and the Esoterist had provided.

Soon enough, all of human civilization gained access to the Hellbringer model, the siege weapon designs, and the other solutions that the Esoterist had provided, including the MECHA. And immediately all of human civilization began aggressively implementing these solutions.

Martial Artists were almost forced to learn the Hellbringer model that would allow them to deal with beasts and monsters more effectively.

Simultaneously, large amounts of manufacturing and industrial capital were used to refit siege weapons with upgrades that were adaptively evolved against beasts and monsters. The only other priority that industrial and manufacturing capital was directed towards was ships and other seafaring resources that very rapidly became the one and only way to trade across human civilization.

In the span of five months, seafaring flux around the world almost doubled as all vessels of all kinds regardless of purpose and size were put to the sole task of trading the most essential goods and services.

The most important and vital supply chains were partially yet painfully restored, just enough to alleviate the supply chain crisis that countless human polities were beset by.

In addition, the esotracter invention that the Esoterist had generously publicized also solved a lot of resource shortage problems as nations began being able to extract raw esoteric matter from the carcasses of beasts and monsters.

Naturally, the entire world very quickly came to realize that implementing all the solutions that Rui and the Esoterist had provided was extremely difficult and time-consuming. Countless Martial Artists around the world couldn't believe how absurdly difficult the Hellbringer model was. The fact that this was allegedly a watered down and easier version of the real deal was even more shocking to all of them.

Everybody had long since heard legends of the overwhelming mind and cognition of the Dawnbringer for quite some time.

They heard legends of how this extraordinary Martial Master could paralyze other Masters with his thoughts alone due to the sheer weight of his thoughts.

It sounded too fantastical and absurd to be possible.

And yet, when they saw just how much raw data the Hellbringer model contained, they quickly realized that it was beyond impossible for them under ordinary circumstances.

Just as Rui had planned.

Very soon, the demand for the Water Sect skyrocketed. The special training and growth resources that the Dawnbringer had created for the sake of mastering his adaptive evolution, his thought techniques in particular, were especially in demand.

Soon after, the Water Sect became bombarded with countless applications for franchising agreements. Martial Artists were desperate to gain access to the Water Sect as they needed aid in the mastery of the Hellbringer model.

Naturally, the Water Sect administration that was formerly of the Rui faction swiftly agreed, signing hundreds and thousands of licensing agreements that immediately commenced the construction of hundreds of thousands of Water Sect branches.

Additionally, the Bradt Distribution Industries signed a partnership agreement for the distribution of supplies and management of the Water Sect, immediately commencing the aggressive manufacturing and shipping of Water Sect resources to the entire world through the recently established seafaring base near Kandria.

And thus, over the span of four months, the Water Sect began aggressively spreading across the entire world. It absolutely shattered the record for the fastest growth rate of any Martial non-profit organization in the history of mankind. The circumstances were so dire that the desperate demand for the Water Sect accelerated a process that would have otherwise taken more than a decade.

Additionally, the main headquarters of the Water Sect had finally been completed within the five-month period since the Human Summit.

This project had begun several months prior to the Beast Incursion in the middle of the war for allies, and had been delayed by the supply chain disruptions caused by the Beast Incursion. However, after the summit, it gained absolute priority within the Kandrian Empire. The construction and manufacturing process was drastically accelerated after Emperor Rael put special priority on it by supplying all the resources that the world needed. A similar phenomenon occurred with the Esoterist and his solutions. The Esocline Federation began receiving countless commissions for the upgrades of existing siege weapons, of which it made a killing with. And yet, the Esoterist never refused a commission even if the nation was unable to pay him at the moment; he even offered interest-free loans so that they could pay him back at any time in the future.

Despite being more profiteering than Rui, he still ensured that he accepted every commission no matter what the price was. He still ensured that human civilization was equipped with his solutions and only profited in so far as it wouldn't lower the probability of humanity's victory.

And yet, those weren't the only changes that human civilization underwent. The Sage-level nations around the world implicitly agreed to go along with the strategy of the Emperor of Harmony unless the solutions fell short in their ability to allow Martial Masters to deal without Sages.

Simultaneously, the Beast Incursion and the Era of Darkness increasingly became normalized and accepted over the span of five months. Nations and polities completed their adaptation to this crisis that had eroded away much of human civilization in the span of five months.

And yet, the changes the world underwent could not even compare to the changes that Rui underwent after having spent nearly six years in the manifold.
