Chapter 24 Getting used to being his life 2
Tihana slowly opened her eyes and she sat up on the couch. She yawned and stretched her body. Gosh, her body aches so bad.
She cleaned her face as she also rubbed her eyes. She stood up to go to the restroom in the room but stopped when she remembered Aiden was in there.
What if she meets him in the room naked or something!!!
She sat back on the couch with a sigh. She was really pressed and needed to pee.
She was just going to hold in till she was sure he was out of the room.
The scent of a strong perfume filled her nose and she looked up to see him coming out of the room.
He looked well dressed like he was going for a business meeting.
He didn’t say anything as he opened the door and left.
Tihana found it as the time as she rushed into the restroom. She did her business and used the opportunity to take her bath.
After bathing, she saw a neatly folded towel near the wash hand basin and took it then tied it round her chest.
She took the new toothbrush on the basin and dabbed toothpaste on it.
She finished brushing and kept it in the plastic container on the basin.
She opened the restroom door and peeked inside the room to see if he was in the room.
Who knows, he might have forgotten something and came back to take it?Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
When she was sure the room was clear, she came out and in a rush, she wore her clothes before she creamed.
She took her phone and left the room. Getting to the sitting room, she saw breakfast on the table. It was a burrito and a cup of tea.
She finished eating and packed the plates aside. She placed her legs on the table and crossed them as she pressed her phone.
The phone became boring for her and she tossed it one side on the couch.
“What am I going to do now? Everything just seems boring.” She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath.
She couldn’t take the boredom anymore so she stood and left to find where to cool off her boredom.
She met a hotel attendant at the elevator.
“I want to get your used plates from the room ma’am.” The hotel attendant said stopping her before she could enter the elevator, going downstairs.
“Okay.” She said simply and made to enter the elevator but stopped again.
“Please excuse me, is there anywhere around you can recommend to ease my boredom?” Tihana called back the hotel attendant.
“Yes. When you go downstairs, at the back of the hotel, you might find something fun to do but mostly that would have been easier in the evening.”
“Are you saying there’s nothing to do now?”
“No, I didn’t say that. What I meant was that you would have easily found where to have fun if it were evening because there is always a party that holds here every Friday which is today.” The hotel attendant explained and Tihana muttered an oh.
“But you could still find something to do now.” The hotel attendant said again.
“Alright, thank you.” Tihana smiled at him.
“You’re welcome.” He said and left.
Tihana sighed and took the elevator. It clicked when it got to the last floor.
Tihana got out and went to the back of the house. She saw two large swimming pool. She wasn’t in the mood so she just walked past them, hoping to find something else to do.
She found a glass door and she could see people going in and coming out.
Curious to know what was happening, she followed a man who was also going in.
With the equipment around, one could easily know it was a gym.
Wow! She never knew the hotel was this fancy to have a gym that was heavily equipped.
She stared around in awe as she walked in further but a man came to her, making her stop.
“Hi! I’ve observed you and I guess you’re looking for someone.”
“No, I wasn’t really looking for someone.” She picked her words slowly and the man raised a brow.
“I’m one of the people that checked into the hotel. I just felt bored in the room so I decided to step outside to do something that will ease my boredom and here I am.” Tihana explained, clearing the questioning face the man had on.
“Okay. Well, you’re not in the wrong place. I would gladly assist you here that is if you’re ready.” The man said in a smile.
“Sure, I am.”
“Okay, please follow me.”

Aiden walked out of the premises as he entered his car.
He just finished having one of the business meetings he came to Canada to do. One more left and he is going back to America.
He just couldn’t wait to go back, he was already feeling too suffocated having to stay in one place with Tihana, a mere worker.
He ignited the car engine and drove it himself.
Wayne didn’t come with him to Canada as per what grandfather ordered.
Sometimes, he just wondered if grandfather was the one sent to make his life uncomfortable because he always does it in every slightest chance he got.
He knows he accepted to marry Tihana as he has agreed to give a heir to the Turner’s family but grandfather was just making it complicated.
And speaking of giving a heir to the Turner’s family, he doesn’t really know how he was going to go about it.
He wasn’t the type to force himself on ladies as they were the ones who always come to him and not the other way round.
But Tihana, she didn’t look like that kind of girl. Even he could feel it that it was going to be difficult to make her get pregnant for him.
She might have accepted the contract but she didn’t look like she accepted to give him a child.
One might say he was scared but that wasn’t it. He just wished she could at least make an attempt so he would know the next step.
He didn’t know if all the acts she was putting on were pretence and he wished they were.
He drove into the hotel and parked in the garage. He went in and took the elevator.
He opened the door of his room and saw the living room clean. The hotel attendants must have cleaned it up but he didn’t find any trace of Tihana.
He went into the room and it was also empty.
He didn’t hear any sound from the restroom so where could she be?
Not bothering to know where she might have gone, he pulled off his clothes to take a shower.
He came out a minute later and wore another clothes. He sprayed his perfume and sat down on the bed.
Where was Tihana and why wasn’t she back yet?
He checked his and seeing it was almost time for the dinner, he Ieft to find Tihana.
He wouldn’t have gone to look for her if they weren’t invited to a dinner party by his business associates.
He got outside and not having an idea if she was still in the hotel, he decided to go to the back of the compound.
He sighed as he didn’t know where to start searching from. He eye searched for her amongst the people in the crowd near the pool but she wasn’t there.
He dipped his hand in his pocket to fetch his phone but he didn’t find it. He searched round his pocket but he still couldn’t find it.
He slapped his head a bit as he recalled he didn’t bring it out from the clothes he wore to the meeting.
He huffed and went back to their room, the second floor.
He took his phone from the suit jacket and dialed on her number but she didn’t pick.
Aiden was already getting pissed off so he decided to go and check again. He stepped out of the room and right there in the sitting room, he met her standing.
“Where the hell have you been?” Aiden said with gritted teeth as he came closer to where she stood.
“I’m sorry, I was so bored here in the room so I just stepped outside to take in the fresh air.”
“And you turned into thin air that I couldn’t find you around.” Aiden said in a question.
“Like I said, I’m sorry.” Tihana apologized again.
She already apologized, why was he making a big deal about it?
“Just get in there and dress up now, we’re going for a dinner in an associate’s house so you better be quick.” Aiden ordered.
“And don’t make me come back here to look for you.” He said again before he left.
Tihana sighed and did as instructed.
She came out of the hotel minutes later wearing a long green evening dress with a not too high white heels. She was having a white purse to match as she went closer to Aiden who was standing with a lady.
The lady was in all smiles and Aiden just had a straight look on.
“Hey sweetheart! Thank God you’re done.” Aiden said and pecked her on the cheek, taking her by surprise. As he pecked her, he whispered something into her ear,
“The rule, act like we’re in love.”
He held her waist in a smile and Tihana was forced to smile.
“I told you I have a wife and she would be here any minute.” Aiden said still smiling.
The countenance of the lady in front of them had already changed as she now had an angry look on but she tried to conceal it with a smile.
“You should have told me earlier then I would have found my way.” The lady said in a false smile.
“But I told you.” Aiden chuckled.
“You should have made me believe but it’s fine.” The lady secretly eyed Tihana and left.
Aiden removed his hand from Tihana’s waist immediately the lady left and walked briefly to his car.
Tihana scoffed as she now understood what was going on. The lady was flirting with Aiden and he used her as a tool to get free from her.
She entered the car and he drove out.
She secretly glared at him as he drove. Anyone who sees him right now might think he is so innocent but they wouldn’t know the beast hiding behind the handsome face.
She suddenly wished murder wasn’t a sin, maybe by now, his funeral would have been taking place today.
She huff as she faced the window, looking at the different things on the road.
The angels heard Tihana’s prayers and the car stopped after some time.
They both got down and she waited for him to take the lead.
He went into the house and she followed.
He rang the doorbell and a girl came to open up after a second or two.
“Whom do you seek for?” The girl asked.
“Tell your boss it’s Mr Turner.” Aiden replied and the girl left. She came back seconds later and gave way for them.
“Sorry you had to wait at the door Mr and Mrs Turner. Come with me to the dinning, dinner has been served.”
They followed the man to the dinning and they were all served by the maid.
“Mrs Turner, I’m Mr Benjamin and here beside me is my beloved wife Mrs Benjamin, it is a great honor to finally meet you today.” The man introduced in a smile as he pointed to his wife.
Tihana looked at the woman he introduced to be his wife and bowed slightly at her still in the smile.
“All pleasure sir.”
“Mr Benjamin and not sir.” Mr Benjamin corrected almost immediately and Tihana smiled the more but all the smiles were just fake.
“I heard you just got married of recent, congratulations.”
“Thank you Mr Benjamin.”
“Okay, let’s eat.” Mr Jeff said and they all started eating.
From everything she saw in the house, she could say the man was just as stinkingly rich as Aiden.
She couldn’t believe she was eating with highly respected people on the same table. Surely, marrying Aiden didn’t just have disadvantages but it also has a few advantage.
The rest of the dinner went on with the both parties talking business. Tihana only said something when she was asked a question.
