The Persistent CEO Wants A Baby

Chapter 43 Who was she to her?

Tihana’s eyes met with a white surface and she groaned a little.

“Where am I?” She mumbled trying to get up.

“Ma’am, you’re awake, let me help you.” A lady in a white uniform offered coming to her.

“Who are you? And where am I?” Tihana asked staring around the place. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“You’re in a hospital ma’am.”

“Hospital?” Tihana repeated in surprise, even if she’s known from the fragnance of drugs she was perceiving where it was.

“Yes, you passed out on the road and a man brought you here.” The nurse explained, then she remembered how a car had almost hit her and she guessed she must have passed out due to fear.

“A man.” Tihana muttered to herself. She bowed her head a little and sighed softly.

“Do you feel pains anywhere?” The nurse asked.

“No, I don’t.”

“Oh my goodness, Tihana, what happened to you?” Diana asked with worry as she rushed into the room.

She put her bag aside on the bed and held Tihana.

“Did you injure anywhere? Are you fine?” She asked again checking for injuries on Tihana’s body and she saw just a little bruise on her elbow.

That must have been when she fell.

“Yes Diana, I’m fine as you can see, you don’t have to worry.” Tihana said and managed to squeeze herself out from Diana’s hold.

“Nurse, is she fine?” Diana asked the nurse.

“Yes, she is.” She replied in a smile.

“You’ve heard from the nurse now, so would you stop worrying?” Tihana folded her hands beneath her breast, staring at her friend and Diana sighed.

“Well, now I’m relieved.” She shrugged as she sat beside Tihana.

“Okay, I’ll leave now to inform the doctor that you’ve woken up.” The nurse smiled at them and left.

“What happened anyway?” Diana asked in (anticipation.)

“I went to the market to get me something to cook for dinner but a car almost hit me and I think I passed out from there.” Tihana narrated.

“Was that your own way of easing your boredom?” Diana guessed, suddenly remembering their last conversation in the texts and she nodded.

“What else would I have done?” She asked back and Diana just rolled her eyes.

The nurse came back with the doctor and a man behind her.

Tihana recognized the man immediately to be the man she had given back his wallet back at the hotel.

“Mrs Turner, how are you feeling now?”

“Mrs Turner?”

“Yes, we know you’re married to Aiden Turner, one of the prominent business man in America or is there a mistake somewhere?” The doctor raised a eyebrow.

“Oh, not at all. I just didn’t realize how popular he is and I have become, that you know me already.” She covered up immediately with a smile and the doctor smiled back.

“The nurse already told me you aren’t feeling any pain any where, so I would want to know, do you feel dizzy?”

“No doctor, I’m fine and I think I’m even stronger than before.”

“Since you’re feeling okay, you’ll be discharged soon. Let me go get your discharge papers ready.” He said before leaving with the nurse.

“I’m really sorry Mrs Turner, I didn’t notice earlier that you were coming plus my mind wasn’t stable at that moment.” Mr Norman apologized immediately the doctor left.

Tihana stared at him and sighed. If he wasn’t old enough to birth her then she would have probably lashed out on him right now.

“It’s alright sir, at least I’m fine now, nothing happened to me.”

There was silence in the room with no one ready to say anything until Mr Norman broke it.

“Mrs Turner?” He called out slowly and Tihana raised her head to look at him.

“I must really say that I’m sorry for what my daughter did to your husband, please forgive her on my behalf.” Mr Norman pleaded with all sincerity he could muster.

“Wait, you’re Blossom’s…”

“Yes, your daughter quite committed a grieve mistake and she needs to be punished, I’m sorry but there is nothing my friend can do to help.” Diana cuts in immediately.

“But she can help me talk to her husband to withdraw the case.”

“Like I said sir, I’m sorry, but there’s nothing my friend can do. Your daughter needs to face the consequences of her actions. Once again, I’m sorry.” Diana finalised with a stern face.

This was Diana’s little way paying Blossom back for all what she did to her.

Mr Norman looked on from Diana to Tihana and when they all said nothing, he left the room.

“Why did you cut me off that way?” Tihana asked frankly.

“I had a feeling you would mess things up and again, you might actually heed to what he wants which I don’t think it’s right because Blossom deserves whatever she is facing.” Diana replied and rolled her eyes.

“Honestly, I didn’t know he was her father even if I saw the both the same day I returned his wallet.”

“Gosh, I should have gotten a hint then.” Tihana said again as she wondered how someone as nice as Mr Norman would birth a person like Blossom.

“What do you think Aiden is doing to her?” She asked after some seconds.

“Well, Wayne said he filed a case against her and right now, she is in the police custody.”

“Really? But I thought she was his girlfriend.” Tihana said slightly surprised.

“You and I know your husband is kind of complicated, who knows if there is more to this than we know.” Diana shrugged.

“Look, all those things shouldn’t be in your mind right now. Let’s just wait for the doctor to come and give your discharge papers, so we can get out of here.” Diana said again whilst demonstrating her hand.

“I really feel like puking.” She groaned out with her eyes closed.

Mr Norman paced round his room with a glass of wine in his hand. He slugged down every content in the glass cup at once and dropped it on the table.

He sat down and poured in yet another quantity from the bottle.

He brought out the reason he has been pacing around from his back pocket and stared into it.

Since he came back from the hospital with the woman’s picture, he hasn’t been himself.

“Why was she with this?” He muttered to himself with a perplexed look as he wished someone would explain to him.

“Who is she to her?” He muttered again. He sighed and sipped again from his wine.

He was with the picture he had taken from Tihana’s things when he helped her pack up the things that fell from her when she passed out.

He stared at the woman’s picture again and sighed.

Who was she to Tihana?
