Chapter 47 Stop it, Aiden!
“Good morning Mr Norman, I’m sorry for keeping you waiting, I was attending to an emergency.” The doctor apologized immediately he entered his office.
“It’s fine, I hope there was no damage.” Mr Norman said stretching his hands for a shake and the doctor gladly accepted it.
“No, there wasn’t.”
“That’s nice to hear Doc.”
“Please, have your seat.” The doctor offered as he pointed to the the chair.
“Thank you.” Mr Norman said and sat back on the chair he had been sitting on earlier.
The doctor also went to sit opposite him as he placed his hand on the desk in anticipation of what Mr Norman has to say.
“Doctor Jay, I want you to conduct a DNA test for me.” Mr Norman began with, taking the doctor aback.
“A DNA test? I am sorry but why?” He asked befuddled and Mr Norman sighed.
“I am trying to figure out something.” Mr Norman replied him as simple as he could.
“If I may ask, what is it? Do you find anything strange about your daughter?” The Dr asked yet again.
He was the family doctor and also a good friend of Mr Norman, so he found it okay to tell him the truth.
“No, it isn’t about my daughter, Blossom. I know my daughter is truly mine but there is still something I want to figure out.”
The doctor paid more attention to him, hoping to know the reason.
“Recently, I found a girl whom I had something with the mother in the past and I want to badly know if she is my daughter.” Mr Norman disclosed.
The doctor stared at him like he was crazy at the moment before chuckling.
“Pardon me to say this, but this sounds stupid. How can you meet a girl and suddenly believed she was your daughter just because you think you had something with the mother in the past?” The Dr paused for a moment.
“What if the woman had been married after that? Just what if?”
“I understand all what you’ve said Doctor, but you still don’t seem to understand my point.”Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Then make me understand, I am your friend, remember?”
“The lady in question told me she was looking for her father because the one she grew up with revealed that he wasn’t her biological father, now tell me what that means.” Mr Norman explained but the doctor said nothing.
He was trying to figure out a thing in what Mr Norman just told him even if the things were very obvious.
“Alright, but why do you think you’re her father? I mean, what if she isn’t your daughter and everything was just a coincidence?” Dr Jay asked.
“Jay, all these questions can only be answered if I get the test done.” Mr Norman replied.
“Okay, if you say so.” Dr Jay breathed out after a while, giving Mr Norman a rest of mind.
“So, where is the lady I’m conducting the test on?” He asked again.
“She isn’t coming but I did bring something of hers.” Mr Norman said and brought out few strands of hair put in a small pack from his pocket.
He had taken it from her during the hug.
Dr Jay collected the item and dropped it on his desk.
“I will also need your blood.” He said and Mr Norman nodded.
“Sure, that won’t be a problem.”
“So, shall we go to the lab to take a sample of your blood?” Dr Jay asked as he stood up.
“Of course.” Mr Norman and the doctor both left the office.

Aiden and grandfather stared at each other with Aiden breaking it off at intervals only if he wanted to take a sip of his coffee.
It’s been minutes since grandfather came to visit him in his office but he has refused to say why he was there.
This gave Aiden unknown goosebumps because it was beginning to scare him, even if he wasn’t admitting it.
“Are you sure you don’t want to take anything? I could ask Wayne to get you something……..”
“What’s all these I’ve been hearing of recent?” Grandfather cut him off.
“What is it about?” Aiden asked after gulping hard.
“I was informed you cancelled five different meetings because they asked for your wife to be present.” Grandfather replied in a frown.
Aiden exhaled, he had been expecting this question from grandfather for some time and that was because he knows he would ask.
“Answer me Aiden Turner.”
Aiden exhaled again and sipped his coffee. He was trying not to make grandfather’s harsh expression get to him that much.
“She……..” Aiden tried to say but was cut short.
“She left home.” Wayne interrupted from behind grandfather.
“What?” Grandfather asked muddled as he turned to Wayne.
“She left home as in?” He asked again.
“She left the marriage and wants a divorce.” Wayne replied.
“A divorce? why?” He asked.
“She and Aiden had an issue and….”
“And can’t it be resolved?” Grandfather cut short alerted at what he just heard but Wayne didn’t reply.
Grandfather turned to Aiden, realising he was the one to answer the question.
“Can’t whatever thing you have with your wife be settled?” He asked.
“Grandfather, I’m trying my best to make her come back.”
“Your best isn’t enough, try harder.” Grandfather said loudly and Aiden sighed.
“You had better do everything you can to get her back else you’d leave me with no other choice.” Grandfather threatened with a finger pointing directly at Aiden’s face then he stomped off out of the office.
“Why the heck did you tell that to grandfather?” Aiden asked immediately.
“I saw you weren’t ready to tell him, so I helped you out.” Wayne answered with a shrug.
“And did I ask for your fucking help?” Aiden asked with his voice louder than before.
“No, and I’m sorry if it pissed you off.”
“This isn’t time to be sorry, you’ve just put me in a mess that I don’t even know how to go about.” Aiden complained dipping his hand in his hair.
“Were you planning not to tell him?” Wayne asked with furrowed eyebrows.
“Maybe, I was.”

“Seriously?” Tihana asked as she shopped some clothes.
“You’re crazy, Diana.” She laughed out this time.
“Get out of my phone, you stupid girl.” She said jokingly.
“I mean it.”
“Don’t you have something doing in the office?”
“Your boss really need to keep some cameras in his workers’ office, most especially yours.” She said in another joke and this time, Diana’s chuckle was heard from the phone.
“Look, I will go now because it seems like I would sleep here at the mall today if I continue to talk to you.” Tihana said and made to end the call but Diana’s voice stopped her.
“What is it?” Tihana asked in a small smile.
“I feel alright now, thanks for caring. Can I cut the call now?”
“With all pleasure.” Tihana chuckled and disconnected the call.
“What a crazy friend!” She chuckled again and put the phone back into her purse.
Diana had forced her to change her wardrobe, so here she was, shopping for new clothes even if she wasn’t going for any occasion.
She selected few more clothes then took it to the cashier for the wrap up.
“Your bill is $2000.” The cashier said before giving her the bags of clothes.
“Take out the money from my card.” A voice said from behind, dropping a credit card in front of Tihana on the cashier’s table.
Tihana stared from the card up to person and a deep frown found itself on her face.
“What are you doing here?” She asked.
“This is a mall and anyone is allowed to come here.” Trenton raised an eyebrow at her.
Tihana brought her harsh gaze down from him and took out her own credit card.
“Please, deduct my bill from here.” She said to the cashier, trying to ignore Trenton’s presence.
“No, I want it deducted from mine.” Trenton insisted as he pushed forward his card to the cashier, making the cashier confused on which to use.
Tihana became angrier with this and threw his card to the floor.
“Stop suffocating me!” She spat out in a hostile glare.
“Please, take the bills from my card.” She said again to the cashier.
The cashier deducted the bills then gave her back her card.
Tihana put her card into her purse and made to walk pass Trenton like he never existed which to her he didn’t, but Trenton dragged her back by her wrist.
“Have I suddenly become invisible that you can’t see me?” He asked but Tihana didn’t reply.
Trenton took a step closer and Tihana could feel his breaths on her, so she took few steps backward.
“You had better not try anything stupid for your own good, as you can see there are people around.” She threatened, holding tights onto the bags in her hand but Trenton cared less.
“I wonder why you feel getting married to Aiden is the best thing. Aiden doesn’t love you but I do and I would prove it.” Trenton said staring intensely at her eyes as if searching for something.
“Look, I’ve not been myself ever since then, each day that passed, I blame myself for what happened to us back then. I realised I love you more than anything in this world and want to be by your side every moment, I can’t………” He continued.
“Stop it, just stop it.” Tihana chipped in before he could finish.
“There is no longer us, it ended that very day and I won’t have you say such things again.” She breathed out.
“Don’t I have deserve a second chance?” Trenton asked.
“I would be the most stupid lady to have anything to do with you again.” Tihana spatted out to his face.
“Then you give me no other choice.” Trenton grabbed her wrist and dragged her away from the cashier’s table.
Tihana struggled to free her hand but he was too strong for her.
“Let go of me you bastard!” She half yelled whilst struggling but Trenton didn’t give a listening ear.
He was dragging her outside and to his car, this made Tihana struggle even more hard.
“Leave my hand, leave me.” She cried out.
Trenton opened the opposite driver’s seat and tried to push her inside but a force pulled him back then a punch landed on his face.
He let go of Tihana immediately to gain his balance.
“How dare you lay your filthy hands on my wife?!” Aiden yelled in anger and Trenton turned sharply to him, taking heavy breathes.
Tihana felt relieved seeing Aiden come to her aid but became scared again of what might happen now.
“Huh? How dare you?!” He yelled again and tried to punch Trenton again but he dodged and punched Aiden instead.
Aiden turned back to him with full force and rushed blows on him.
“Stop it!” Tihana half yelled as she tried to separate Aiden from Trenton who was also trying to fight back.
“Please Aiden, stop.” She said fraily this time.
She was suddenly feeling dizzy. She touched the side of her head and before she knew it, slumped to the floor.
