Chapter 46
Viktor POV
“You changed desks..” Minerva said.
“Oh, yeah. I’d forgotten about that.” I said. But that was a lie. I hadn’t forgotten it, because it was a big deal. To Violette, anyway.
“Why?” She asked. I could tell it upset her, but I won’t bother to explain myself. It’s not any of her business. Even though she asked, I felt she knew the reason why. Because she started something with my slave and not only did it hurt Violette, but it infuriated me.
“Because I can.” I said. She nodded her head and sighed.
“Right.” She whispered in a displeased tone.
“Minerva, if there’s something you want to say, just say it.” I said.
“There’s nothing. I was just curious.” She said. She walked behind me and placed her hands on my shoulders and began rubbing them.
“You’ve been extra busy this week..” she said.
“Yeah, there’s been a lot to do. Thankfully, I haven’t had to worry about the war with Arthur for a bit. I’ve been trying to fix what my cousin f****d up.” I said as o glared at the papers in front of me.
“He definitely did a lot of damage..” she said.
“That he did.” I sighed.
I flipped through the pages on my desk. There was so much to do.. it was killing me. I haven’t had a moment to just relax.. but I guess that comes with being the King. Violette crossed my mind several times making it even more difficult to complete my tasks.
It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve really just.. had her company. Of course I’ve seen her around, working in the gardens and around the castle. There’s even been several restless nights where I’ve snuck into her room just to be near her.
“You seem to be in your mind.” Minerva snapped me back into reality.
“What? Sorry. What did you need, Minerva?” I asked.
“I was just curious if there was anything I could do for you? Since you’ve been working so hard lately, I thought maybe you’d enjoy my company for a bit..” she said.
“I can’t right now.” I said. She pulled her hands back and g*****d.
“Why not? You haven’t taken me in weeks. I’ve been lonely.” She walked to the front of my desk and pouted.
“I’m sorry you feel that way. I don’t intend for it.” I said.
“Just 20 minutes, Viktor. I can take your mind off of everything, maybe loosen you up. Who knows, you might get more done afterwards.” She smiled softly.
I could use it.. I won’t lie. It’s been a bit since I’ve taken Violette. Since that night.. dear Goddess. My d**k got hard at just the thought.
“See, you’re even getting hard for me.” She peeked down at my bulging pants. I wanted to roll my eyes because it wasn’t her that got me hard, it was the thought of taking Violette in my bed that did.
“We could break in the new desk..” she bit her l*p as she ran her fingers across the wooden surface.
“Not on the desk.” I dismissed that idea instantly. She nodded, but began getting undressed anyways.
“How about the floor? You do know I like that.” She smirked. She pulled down her skirt and got on her hands and knees, wiggling her bare a*s in front of me.
I let out a sigh and I stood up, walking over to her and unbuttoned my pants. Maybe she’s right. It may ease my mind some.
I got on my knees and pushed her legs farther apart, placing my hand on her back and pushing her torso down to the ground. She was already wet from anticipation, so I easily slid in.
“Ahh.” She m****d.
“Be quiet.” I said. She nodded her head as she held back her m***s.
I began thrusting, trying my best to enjoy myself but somehow she made it difficult. I closed my eyes, my mind bringing in images of Violette on my bed.. Goddess.. her perky breasts bouncing with each slam, her eyes rolling to the back of her head as she orgasmed. I’d never seen anything quite like it in my life.
Minerva let out low, breathy m***s and I opened my eyes. I was getting frustrated, but I tried not to let it bother me.
Violette.. just think of Violette.
She doesn’t feel anything like Violette. Her scent is completely different. Everything about Violette just set me on a roller coaster. I felt like a rabid dog attacking her, making her mine. She made my mind go crazy.. and I craved her like nothing else.
Goddess I wish she was Violette right now. I hated that I felt this way, but I can’t fight it anymore. Fighting it only made it worse.
I grabbed Minerva’s h**s as I felt myself getting closer. Violette completely took over my mind, the look in her eyes, her scent, her body.. everything.
I pulled out of Minerva and rubbed myself until I came on her a*s. Relief. That is all I needed.
Minerva panted on the floor, her heart thudding rapidly in her chest. She didn’t move as I pulled my pants up and buttoned them. I stood up and left to grab her a washcloth. When I returned she looked up at me with a sweet smile, her face red and sweaty.
“Better?” She asked. I nodded my head but it wasn’t the truth. She wasn’t what I needed but I made it work. I handed her the cloth and let out a sigh.
“I should get back to it.” I said. She wiped herself off and stood up, then began dressing.
“Sure I can’t stay longer?” She asked.
“No, I’m sorry. I really need to finish this.” I said. She nodded her head as she pinched her lips together in disappointment.
“I wish we had more fun like we used to.” She said.
“I know. I’m sorry.” I said sincerely. I hated feeling like I was using her. And.. maybe that’s exactly what I’m doing. But this is what she wanted, I was only giving it to her.
“I’ll let you get back to it.” She said.
“Thank you. You may go.” I said. She stood there silently for a moment before turning around and letting herself out.
I leaned back in my chair, resting my head against the top. I find it so hard to enjoy myself anymore unless I’m with Violette. It kills me. It made me question everything.. it brought thoughts to my mind I hadn’t had in forever.
“Hey man.. what are you doing?” Cedric’s voice flitted through my mind.
“Just working on stuff. What’s up?” I asked.
“I was wondering if we could talk?” He asked. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.
“Yeah, sure. Come up.” I said.
After a few moments the door opened and Loren stepped in.
“Cedric, my King.” He said.
“Let him in.” I said. He gave me a nod before letting in Cedric and stepping out.
“There he is.” Cedric greeted me with a smile. He stepped into my office and grimaced.
“Why in the world do you keep entertaining that woman?” He asked.
“What do you mean?” I furrowed my brows in confusion.
“Well first off. I just passed Minerva in the hallway.. and second off it absolutely reeks of her and s*x in here.” He said. I let out a chuckle.
“Why do you even care?” I asked.
“She’s an awful woman. And she’s nothing compared to the princess slave.” He said as he wiggled his eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes.
“If it makes you feel any better, I couldn’t get off without thinking about her.” I said truthfully. He grimaced at that too, which brought a smile to my face.
“Too much info, man.. too much.” He said.
“Anyways, did you have something specific you needed to talk about?” I asked. He let out a sigh and smiled.
“I marked Lillian.. and I want to ask her to marry me.” He said. My eyes widened with shock.
“You marked her? That’s awesome man. But don’t you think it’s a bit early for marriage?” I asked. He apparently disagreed because he scoffed.
“We’re tied to each other forever. I don’t think there’s such a thing as “too early for marriage “ when it’s with your mate.” He said.
“I don’t know.. you’ve only known her for about a month.” I said.
“Maybe you only think like that because you haven’t found your mate yet.” he said as he crossed his arms. I let out a growl..
“Sorry, man. Didn’t mean to do that.” He apologized for bringing up this painful subject.
“It’s fine. Listen.. if you think you’re ready, do it. Her title will go up and she’ll be a high ranking lady. I’m sure she’d love that.” I said.
“Yeah.. but here’s the issue. I doubt she’d want to move into my place, especially leaving Violette. So I also wanted to ask if we could have our own permanent quarters here in the palace.” He said. I thought for a moment and nodded my head.
“Done. I’ll have some servants begin on it whenever you’re ready.” I said.
“Excellent.. now I just need to pick a ring.. do you think Violette would have any ideas?” He asked.
“She does know Lillian better than anyone..” I said.
