The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

He used to stay in the school throughout his time as a trainer, so he was positive that Ethlyn wasn’t there waiting for Roselet. At that moment, he had no idea about Ethlyn coming here, so he didn’t even bother to look for her.

‘She might have lost the way of the school.’ Nelina suggested, but that was impossible because the route of the school wasn’t a maze where anyone would get lost, but yes, the way to the school was underground, so there could be a chance that Ethlyn couldn’t find the underground route.

‘Or she might be at her sister’s place?’ Nelina suggested next.

To find where Ethlyn was, he looked at Beta’s place and all the way to the school, but he couldn’t find her scent anywhere. He even asked a couple of warriors on patrol, who informed him that no one had left the pack.

He then asked the parents of the pups who were there about Ethlyn, while a couple of them replied that they had no idea about it, while the others avoided the question at all, which made Lemieux suspicious.

“Excuse me, everyone!!” Calvin excused himself before speaking, “I will have to leave because the mother of my daughter is in town, and she got herself in trouble. I’m sorry.” He explained that one of the writers among the two was his old client and had a record of giving superhits movies.© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

“Mother of your daughter, Mr. Haysbert?” Tessa Bale questioned in surprise.

“Yes, Mrs. Gale. I’m sorry again.” Saying this, Calvin said before dashing toward the exit of the meeting room.

“That’s…that’s so unprofessional of him, Tessa,” Her co-writer, Jame Waititi, said. “He first schedules the meeting as per his timing, and now this. There are a lot of production houses out there.” He suggested.

Tessa Bale smiled before replying, “I have known that boy for decades, Jame. And the fact he gives priority to his family before work is the best thing about him. Leave it; I will ask him to fix this damage by inviting us to a family dinner. And trust me, you will fall in love with his daughter.”

“Anyway, let’s resume the meeting.” Tessa Bale suggested, looking at Ben Davis.

‘Lemi, Damien, Asher, Artin, Daniel, Sonia, Nate, Liam, Aiden, Naomi, Chloe, and Zordan, Kidnap each and every pup of the pack.’ Calvin mindlinked all his pack members.

‘WHAT?’ Only Zordan questioned back, even though all other members at this order of the Alpha.

‘Do what I’m asking you to do, Beta Zordan, without question, and hide them in Bunker by cloaking their scents so that no one can find them. Is that clear to everyone?’

‘Yes, Alpha.’ Everyone replied.

‘Perfect. I will be there within half an hour. I need this work to be done by then.’ Calvin closed the mind linked after saying this.

‘If you’re bad, then I’m your dad, pack members.’ He mentally thought, already assuming what could have happened.

After half an hour, when he reached at the pack, he could already see the a lot of worried and tense faces, running here and there, talking to each other and on the verge of crying.

“Alpha, we can’t find our pup.” Two women came running to him.

“Where would they go? Search them nicely.” He responded and started to leave from there when another few pack members blocked his way.

“Alpha, even we can’t find our pups. We asked Beta, Gamma, Delta, and the warriors appointed at the border about our pups, but no one is helping us.” The other pack member said while the pack members behind nodded their heads.

“In the same way? A lot of you didn’t help Lemieux when he came to your doorsteps looking for Ethlyn, the mother of my pup.” Calvin asked casually.

“But Alpha, I really don’t know anything about it.”

“Same here, Alpha.”

“We didn’t say anything like that to Lemieux.”

Those pack members who were completely innocent started speaking while the other one stayed silent.

“Does… does that mean you have to do anything with the missing pups?” One of the pack members asked Calvin meekly, not sure whether he was right or not.

“All I know is that missing pups is related to missing Ethlyn. And no help will be offered from my end if the silent pack members can’t open their mouths.” Calvin replied and started leaving.

“She is the reason because of why my pup was killed because she killed the son of the hunter’s leader.” Eva, Alexia’s mother, said, complained. Calvin turned around and looked at her, narrowing his eyes.

“If we will give her to the hunters, then the reason for the war would end on its own.” Lily, Jasper’s mother, said.

“As long as I’m alive, that’s not going to happen for sure,” Calvin said in determination.

“And if Ethlyn wouldn’t have killed that son of hunters and I would have done it for sure for hurting her,” he added. “Now, you all will get your pups back only when Ethlyn will be back.” He announced before adding, “I know she is still in the pack because Lily just mentioned that ‘If we WILL give her to the hunters’. It means you all haven’t given her to the hunters yet.”

Calvin left from there, giving them time to think it over. He didn’t want to make harsh decisions against his own pack members for doing this because he knew they were just angry and in pain. They weren’t criminals, just trained warriors who definitely knew how to hide anyone. And the fact they were in the majority was a bonus point for them.

The moment the elevator opened, which Calvin was going to enter, Roselet walked out with a long face.
