The Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wife (Joanna)

Chapter 1283

Chapter 1283

Bruce did not object. "Let's hear it."

"I've been gathering all the information about Paradise Island for the past few months. I've already

made a few routes. This route is the shortest route to Paradise Island," Aria said. She unfolded a map

and showed it to Bruce with her finger.

Bruce took the map and looked at it carefully.

He wanted to memorize all these routes.

"At the moment, we need boats and wooden rafts. In this area of the sea, the reefs and magnetic fields

are the strongest. Only the raft will not be affected. The other boats will be affected since they are

made of metal.

"Also, I have already contacted our colleagues. They will meet us at this place," Aria said meticulously.

When she looked at Bruce, there was a deep emotion hidden in her eyes.

She knew that he would definitely come.

Therefore, she had made all the necessary preparations in advance.

Bruce looked at the map seriously. When he looked up, he saw Aria looking at him in a stupor.

Her eyes were sparkling, gentle and beautiful.

Moreover, her eyes were similar to Joanna's.

Bruce frowned and said in a low tone, "Well, we still have to go to Green Phoenix Island to catch

seabirds tomorrow. Let's rest early."

"Bruce..." Aria's cherry lips trembled. She wanted to say something but stopped herself.

She loved him so much.

She knew that he would never fall in love with her in this lifetime, but her love for him was etched into

her bones.

She had always thought highly of herself. How could any ordinary man be compared to Bruce?

If... if only time could be reversed, how good would that be?

"What's wrong?" Bruce's tone was flat. He deliberately kept a distance from her, not wanting her to

harbor any more thoughts about him.

Aria was silent for a few seconds before smiling at him. "I'm sure we can do it, Bruce!"

"Of course!" Bruce replied coldly. He lay back in the driver's seat and continued to sleep.

The next day, everyone was up.

"Darcy, you and Carson go buy enough supplies and the daily necessities that we need."

"Alright, Mr. Everett!"

"Bruce, where are you going?" © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

"I plan to go to Green Phoenix Island first to catch seabirds."

Aria immediately picked up her backpack. "Bruce, I'll go with you!"

"No need. I'll just take Miya."

When Aria heard this, she still looked worried. "The woman is too cunning. She might play some tricks

again. I'll go with you. I'll be more at ease."

Jaydon, who was originally taking care of the two injured people, heard their conversation and hurriedly

ran out. "Ari, I'll go with you."

"You don't have to come. Go shopping with them."

"I'm not going. I-I want to catch seabirds with you."

"Jaydon, we're going to do something serious now, not go out to play. Besides, there's not enough

room on the boat."

"We're just going to catch a few birds. There's no need for so many people to go." Bruce's face

darkened as he rejected Jaydon gloomily.

Jaydon shrugged slightly. "I don't care. I have to go with you."

After saying that, he muttered indignantly in a quiet voice, "I have to keep an eye on you for Joann to

prevent you from fooling around again."

"What did you say?"

Even though Jaydon spoke very softly, Bruce still heard him. He immediately frowned and

subconsciously clenched his fists.

Joanna was now in a vegetative state. He was burning with anxiety and grief.

How could he be fooling around?

All he wanted to do now was to flatten Paradise Island and save his daughter.

Seeing that Bruce was about to fly into a temper, Aria gently advised, "Forget it. Let Jay go with you."
