The Woman From Hell

Chapter 2595

Two months later, in Green Orange.

In the office, I was looking at the news on the computer with a satisfied smile.

Then, Shannon's voice came from outside the door. "Wanda, Wanda?"

This was how she was. She was someone who one would hear before seeing. She was already married and had children, yet she seemed like a child herself.

Pushing open the door, Shannon could not hide the smile on her pretty face. I looked at her with a happy expression, and she could already guess what was up. "Did you see the news too?"

I nodded faintly. "Yes. Pack up. We ought to be heading out."

Airport.

The press was already there waiting when we got onto the scene.

Earl Argylle, a famous investor from Yogire Nation, had a unique vision. The projects he invested in had all practically been stable, and their value even doubled. Rumor had it that he was even a member of the royal family of Yogire and that he was rich and powerful. When he came to Whaldorf City, he told the media that it was for fun, when in truth, it was to inspect an investment project. Hence, he not only attracted a wave of media but also many entrepreneurs.

"I don't think we'll be able to squeeze in with so many people." Shannon looked at the crowd hopelessly.

I waved my hand. "We don't need to do that."

At Shannon's surprised gaze, I called Nibel. "Are you ready?"

"Yes. Head directly to the airport's back entrance."

After hanging up the phone, I winked at Shannon and then led her to the back gate which was empty.

People who came to the airport would all but go through the main entrance. The distance between the airport's main entrance and back gate was only a few minutes long, but if one was rushing to catch a flight, one would need to take the North Circle Line to get to the back entrance which would add more than ten kilometers to their journey. Hence, most people would use the main entrance.

"Wanda, why did we come to the back gate?"

I crossed my arms and answered her, "There are so many people at the front. Would you use it if you were Earl?"

Shannon frowned. "That makes sense, but it's Earl's first time coming to Whaldorf City. How would he know about the back entrance?"

I smiled and snapped my fingers. "This reflects the importance of having a backer."

Right at this moment, a built-looking

man walked directly before us. He was wearing a windbreaker and a hat, looking like he was afraid of being recognized. Considering his tall height of more than 1.9 meters as well, I quickly reacted.

He was Earl.

Seeing him looking around, I hurriedly went up to him. "Hello, Mr. Earl. Nibel sent me to pick you up. Please get into the car."

Behind me was a black car. I opened the door and bowed, inviting him in.

Earl did not ask any questions likely due to me mentioning Nibel's name and straightaway got into the backseat.

"Shannon, let's go."

The car drove away, and the people in the airport lobby were not even aware that we were already taking Earl away.Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Sitting in the back seat, Earl took off

his hat after the car had driven a

certain distance, revealing his delicate face. He looked to be about

in his early thirties, with deep features and the charm of a mature man.

"Finally, we're out. Miss, are you a friend of Nibel's?" He was not very

fluenti

the local language, but

could still understand him

somewhat.

I nodded. "Yes, Nibel has reserved you a hotel room. He's waiting for you there."

Earl tilted his head as if trying to understand what I said. He gestured an 'OK' after a bit. "Alright."

Shannon came to an abrupt realization after hearing our conversation. "So, Earl and Nibel know each other." "Yes." I smiled.
