We finally got what we wanted. I successfully signed a contract with Earl and sold North Courts' development rights for 250 million. He handed me the check.

"Miss Wanda, I hope to have the opportunity to work with you again in the future."

"It would be my honor. I think we might have a chance."

Earl needed to go back to make his report after signing the contract. Nibel and I sent him to the airport. The two of them were reluctant to leave each other as if they were a couple. It made me feel like a third-wheeler.

It was obvious he did not have a good opinion of Delia.

He used her at first, but now that she was worthless, he did not even try to pretend. Nibel was a cruel man.

I did not think so, however. "If you

want to deal with Theo, Delia's support is indispensable. You must know that she's the closest person to Theo now."

Nibel smiled slowly. "I do. But I'm confident that you'll help me."

"That's because you owe me for the Yards. You can return the favor by helping me defeat Theo Grant. Then, we're even."

A favor in exchange for another. It sounded so fair.

"Miss Wanda, this act of yours with Theo should be over now," Nibel said with a smile.
