Their Secret Obsession (A Reverse Harem)

Chapter 0344

Lottie's POV

I stood there, my heart pounding as I glared at the remnants of shimmering light fading around me. My hands trembled slightly as I rested them on my swollen belly, feeling the gentle movements of the lives growing inside me. The air was thick with tension, the scent of ozone lingering from the clash of energies. Astaroth's gaze bore into mine, a mix of rage and disbelief contorting his features. I have been scared, I knew what he was capable of... But I wasn't. I felt nothing but hatred for the creature who had destroyed our lives. "You don't understand, Astaroth," I announced, my voice steady despite the whirlwind inside me. A faint smile tugged at my lips. "Power doesn't have to destroy. Sometimes, it's exactly what's needed to protect."

"You think you can defeat me?" he sneered, shadows swirling ominously around him. "You're just a scared little girl playing with forces beyond your comprehension."

A flicker of doubt sparked within me. What if he's right? What if this power harms my babies? Panic threatened to creep in, but then, a warm presence stirred in the back of my mind.

"You've got this, Lottie," Sage whispered, her voice filled with unwavering confidence. "We've come too far to back down now."

"But how am I doing this?" I asked her internally. "I don't understand what's happening to me. I'm worried about the twins. What if this hurts them?"

"I don't think it's hurting them. In fact... I believe they might be the source of this power." Sage paused, her tone thoughtful.

"The babies?" I echoed, astonished. "How is that possible?"

"Our bond with Selene is stronger than we realised," Sage replied gently. "She saw something in us, something extraordinary. Trust in yourself, as I trust in you." Taking a deep breath, I felt a surge of resolve. The energy coursing through me was both foreign and familiar, like a forgotten melody now resurfacing. I placed a protective hand over my belly, feeling a comforting warmth spread from within. I focused on that sensation, allowing it to fill every corner of my being.

"What are you?" Astaroth hissed, taking an involuntary step back. His eyes widened slightly as the glow around me intensified once more.

"A survivor," I replied softly. "A

protector of those I love. A mother." I

added with a smug grin. He roared in fury, launching a final desperate attack. Tendrils of dark energy

spiraled toward me, the very ael.ne

crackling with malevolence Dime seemed to slow as I raised my hands, instinct guiding my movements.

"Now, Lottie!" Sage urged. "Trust in our power!" The light within me erupted outward, forming a radiant shield that met his darkness head-on. A sudden fear gripped me-what if this strain is too much for the pups? But as the energies clashed, I felt a reassuring pulse from within, as if the twins themselves were lending me

strength.

The impact shook the ground beneath us, but I held firm. The shadows collided with the luminescence, and for a moment, it was as if night and day were warring before my eyes.

"No!" Astaroth screamed, his voice fracturing under the strain. The shadows that once obeyed his every command began to falter, dissolving into wisps of smoke.

"Astaroth." I stepped forward, each movement filled with purpose. "Your reign is over," I declared, my eyes locked onto him. Channelling every ounce of strength, I unleashed a wave of pure light. It cascaded toward him like a tidal wave, engulfing him completely. "Lottie!" Knox screamed as Astaroth thrashed within the brilliance, his form flickering. I could hear the panic in his voice and wanted to reassure him that I was ok, but I did not dare look away from the trickster in front of me, knowing somehow I could do this.

"This isn't possible!" The demon who had plagued us cried out. But soon, his protests faded, the darkness clinging to him vanishing into nothingness. And then, silence.

The overwhelming glow dimmed,noveldrama

exhaustion. I lowered my hands slowly, glancing around at the others only to see Chase staring at me, eyes wide with awe.

"You did it," he murmured, almost in disbelief.

"We did it," Sage corrected softly within me. I could feel her pride, a warm embrace that soothed my frayed nerves.
