Unspoken Love

Chapter 5 Like a Clown

Chapter 5 Like a Clown

Brodie looked down at Luna. "Why did you come back?"

Luna looked up at him. She wanted to keep some self-esteem for herself and said, "I said that my half-

sister stole my man. I hate to..."

Brodie narrowed his eyes and interrupted her, "Luna, you're not good at lying."

Luna turned her face away and whispered, "Brodie, I came here and let you do whatever you want.

Why don't you do it?" Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Brodie said with contempt, "I don't like a bitch."

Luna looked at Brodie and finally realized that he didn't even want to touch her even though she came

to climb in his bed.

Brodie didn't have any feelings for her now.

This truth hurt Luna more than all the humiliation. She suddenly got up and rushed to the bathroom.

She put on her wet underwear and skirt and left Brodie's villa.

...

Luna went back to the hotel and took a bath.

She simply couldn't get close to Brodie right now. She could only think of other ways to sleep with him.

When Luna was thinking about it, her phone rang.

Luna looked at the caller ID and picked it up quickly. "Mom, what's wrong?"

"Luna, can you transfer some money to me?" Luna's mother paused for a moment and continued, "I

don't have any savings, but the hospital wants us to pay for the last chemotherapy. I..."

The Coveys never gave them enough money to meet their living expenses. They had to rely on Luna's

salary to pay for food and Cindy's treatment. However, before returning to China, Luna quit her job, and

they lost the only source of income.

Luna felt so bad. "Mom, I'm sorry ... I'll go get the money and transfer it to you soon."

"Alright ... Don't push yourself too hard. Cindy is fine. If you can't make it, you can go find Jason. He'll

help you if you ask."

Jason Norton was Luna's husband, only in name.

Luna immediately refused. She almost roared, "No! Don't look for him. You must not ask him for help!

Mom, do you want to get me into trouble again?"

Luna hung up after chatting with her mother for a while longer. She then turned on her phone,

downloaded a few job-hunting apps and sent dozens of resumes.

After doing all of this, Luna was exhausted and fell asleep on the bed.

...

The next day at Dunhill Hotel.

Brodie and Ariana were holding their engagement here. Halfway through the banquet, Brodie's phone

rang. He glanced at the caller ID and walked to the end of the corridor. He picked it up and talked to the

person for a few minutes.

"Mr. Melton, why are you hiding here to answer the phone on your big day?"

Brodie put his phone down and turned around. Luna was wearing a red cheongsam that was above her

knee, walking over in a pair of red high heels. She smiled charmingly with two glasses of red wine in

her hand.

Brodie said "I'll catch you later" to the person on the other side before hanging up. Then he narrowed

his eyes and looked at Luna.

Luna walked up to Brodie and handed him a glass of red wine. "Mr. Melton, although we failed to

rekindle an old affair last night, you could at least take this glass of wine when I toast to you?"

Brodie did not take it.

"You don't want to drink it? Don't worry. I didn't poison it." Luna chuckled, took back the glass handed to

Brodie and drank it all. Then, she handed the other glass to Brodie. "How about this, Mr. Melton?"

Brodie looked at her and still did not move.

So, Luna drank half of the wine and licked her red lips. "Will you drink it now?"

Brodie stared at Luna for a long time. Then he grabbed the wine glass and drank it all in one gulp. He

grabbed Luna's waist and sent wine into her mouth through kisses.

Luna struggled, but Brodie grabbed her chin and forced her to open her mouth and drink the wine.

Luna didn't want to leave anything to chance, so she put strong medicine in both glasses of wine.

However, she didn't expect that she would drink both glasses of wine by herself. After the kiss, the

medicine began to work. Her eyes went red because the medicine turned her on. Her legs felt weak as

water. She staggered and fell beside Brodie's leg.

Brodie looked at her coldly, as if she was a clown.

Luna felt so hot, as if there were thousands of ants crawling all over her. Her mind almost went blank.

She knelt and tried to take off his clothes. "Brodie, I'm hot..."
