Chapter 62

Cain was almost worried because he called his friend many times but he still didn't answer and other

things she was nervous about so he chose to just follow where Monique went. When he got in his car

his phone rang just in time and he saw that Thunder was calling.

He answered it quickly. "Why? I'm driving."

"I've been calling you many times! Your wife's life is in danger!" He said

"W-what? What happened? Where are you? Where is my wife?"

"I'm still here at your house. Come home here right now!" He nervously said

"I'm coming back, wait for me there and call Kevin too."

Thunder POV

The young man hardly cared what he was going through. The important thing now for him was to come

to their house to find out what had happened, nervousness enveloped his whole system when Cain

said that his wife was in danger. He was only about an hour ago when he left their house and then he

would hear about it, if he only knew it would happen he would not have his wife.

He hurried back to their house, he had just gotten out of the car and he saw Cain with Kevin and the

cops. He immediately approached them.

"What happened? Where is my wife?"

"When you left earlier I'm on my way here cause I have something important to discuss with you. Jewel

said you left so I said I'll just go to your office, I got in the car and she turned around to go inside, then I

was surprised when she suddenly scream and I saw Margaux is pulling her and pointed a gun in her

head, I couldn't move because she warned me that she would shoot Jewel. Monique also came and

tried to talk to Marga but she didn't want to listen. That woman almost shot me but Monique saved me."

Cain explained

"Where's Monique?" Kevin asked

"She followed Margaux at first and didn't want to agree because she had a wound to her arm but she

said I'll just call Thunder and she'll follow the two." Cain replied Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

"Damn it!" Thunder shouted

"Just calm down bro, we will find and save my cousin." Kevin's calming down voice

"If something bad happens to my wife I'm gonna kill that woman!" Thunder said angrily

Later, Cain's phone rang and he answered it quickly when he saw Monique calling.

"Hello, where are you? I'm with Thunder and Kevin now." Cain immediately asked

"We're on the **** highway and I don't know what Marga is planning to do but I'm still following her until

now, my gps is turned on look at the location just track us and follow where we are," Monique said and

quickly hung up the call. .

When Cain dropped the call, Thunder approached him immediately. "Is that Monique? What did she

say? Where are they?"

"They said they were on the **** highway and she didn't know where Marga was going but she was still

following her and she turned on her GPS so we could track where they were."

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Thunder said

They immediately got into their respective cars except for Thunder who preferred to ride in Cain's car.

While Monique is in her car, she doesn't think that the woman that she treated like a sister and friend

will end up like this. She is praying that nothing bad would happen to the two. And even though her

shoulder hurts and bleeding she doesn't care anymore what is more important to her right now is to

save the two.

On the other hand, the two women continued to quarrel, "Marga, I feel sorry for what happened please

stop this, nothing will make your revenge good. Your older brother will not be happy because of what

you are doing." Jewel pleaded

"Stop it! Don't involve my brother in this because you have no right to preach to me such words as ``if

you're an angel cause you are not, you killed my brother!"

"Please Marg, they're still many people who love and value you, especially auntie and uncle. They love

you so much. I almost consider you a sister, I know you were hurt by the loss of Daven and I know until

now I'm still the one you blame because even I am also blaming myself because if it hadn't happened

to me she would still be alive, but Marge I didn't want that to happen it was all accident. "she cried.

"You have to pay for the loss of Daven! Either way and I will charge you, I can't allow you to live happily

while I lost the love I love!" she spoke sharply

Jewel is almost hopeless because it seems that the person she is talking to is really determined. And

since she had no other way to think of it, she snatched the steering wheel from Marga, the two of them

quarreled without realizing that there was a truck that they could meet and because of Marga's

suddenness, she quickly turned the steering wheel causing them to end up in the ravine. Almost half of

the car was already in the ravine and with just a little movement they were about to fall, they also heard

another loud impulse of the car on their side.

They didn't know that Monique was the girl because her car was just behind them and she didn't expect

what would happen so she couldn't brake. The girl's car crashed so fast that she suddenly lost

consciousness.

While the two young women can feel the weakness and pain of their bodies, what they are more afraid

of now is their position that could be the cause of their death.

"M-marga, are you okay?" She asked anxiously, but she got no answer because the woman just

remained bent over.

"Can you get out? We'll get out slowly so the car doesn't move, we need to get out of here before it

falls." she added but Marga still didn’t raise her head.

Jewel tries to reach the girl's hand, even though the woman has done her harm she understands where

the girl's anger is coming from and she doesn't want anything bad to happen to her. She had to save it

as best she could even though she didn't know if they would be able to come out alive today.

Jewel thinks that she can't just die, she still wants to be with her husband and son. She wants to give

her son a happy and complete family so she has to fight to survive.

"You can go now, leave me here," Marga said suddenly

"I-I can't leave you here Marg. We'll both get out of this car."

The girl looked at her. "How could you think that way? You know you couldn't be here in this situation if

it's not because of me."

"B-because you are important to me! Because you are Daven's sister! I won't let you get hurt."

Suddenly the shots dripped from Margaux's eyes, she couldn't quite imagine that the girl was so kind

that even in this situation she didn't want to leave her even though she didn't do well for her family.

Now she understands why her brother was able to sacrifice his life just to save this woman, Jewel is

the person who will want to be everyone's friend so she now knows why this girl becomes her brother's

best friend.

Too bad and now she just realized all that when they were in danger and even Monique that she hadn't

been able to leave since Daven died she was able to hurt. She knew that she might not be able to

survive today.
