Vengeful Hearts Return Novel by Susan Clyde

Chapter 165

Audrey hadn’t eaten much at the party but was not hungry before she fell asleep. Now, her stomach was beginning to rumble

The entire villa was quiet. Audrey rubbed her eyes and walked out of the room, having nothing on but a black slip nightgown.

Perhaps it was because of her period, Audrey no longer looked cold and distant as usual. Instead, she appeared more feminine. A phone ring broke the silence of the villa. Audrey stopped in her tracks and glanced at the study at the end of the corridor The light was on and the door was ajar. The phone’s ring was coming from the study

The phone rang twice before it stopped. Audrey did not pay much attention to it. Just as she was about to go downstairs. Dylan walked out of the study with his phone and happened to see her standing at the staircase.

Audrey wore a black halter dress, her smooth skin glowing in the light. Her delicate face looked soft, her rosy lips inviting, and her beautiful eyes sparkling like crystals. Her wavy hair cascaded down her back, adding a touch of enchantment to her comely face.

Looking at Audrey, Dylan swallowed hard, his eyes burning with desire. He struggled to suppress his emotions and walked up to her.

“You just got up. You’d better put on more clothes to stay warm. Are you hungry Dylan asked, his voice a little hoarse. He spoke very gently, as if afraid of startling the beauty before him. It had been a long time since he last saw Audrey so tender and quiet.

“Oh,” Audrey replied softly, blinking her crystal eyes in a daze.

Her soft voice and cute appearance after sleep made Dylan feel like his heart was melting

Dylan pulled Audrey into his arms, leaned over, and kissed her on the lips. When he looked up, his eyes were still burning with desire, as if he couldn’t get enough.

Audrey instantly sobered up, staring at Dylan in shock. Dylan covered her eyes with his hand to block her gaze and kissed her againCopyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

Dylan kissed so passionately as if he wanted to pour all his love and tenderness into the kiss.

Audrey whimpered, trying to push him, but Dylan turned around and pressed her against the wall.

Now that the wall was a bit cold, Audrey’s shoulders trembled slightly as she leaned against it. Dylan withdrew his hand from her eyes and placed it behind her, creating a barrier between her and the wall.

Dylan pressed his other hand on the back of Audrey’s head until she collapsed in his chest. Dylan finally ended the kiss with satisfaction and wrapped Audrey tightly in his arms.

Dylan’s warm breath kept blowing on Audrey’s neck. Feeling the obvious changes in his body, Audrey realized he had been turned on.

After a long time. Dylan muttered in a hoarse voice, “Baby, you’re killing me!”

At this moment, a gurgling sound was heard. The two of them were stunned, and the ambiguous atmosphere was gone. Dylan hugged Audrey and chuckled. His laughter was low and magnetic, filled with male charm. “Hungry, huh?” he asked. Audrey pursed her lips and kicked Dylan’s leg without saying anything.

Dylan hugged her and his laughter became even louder. He laughed so hard that his chest was trembling. Audrey compressed her lips, her ears turning red from shyness.

Dylan noticed immediately. He nibbled Audrey’s earlobe, making her tremble slightly, then whispered, “Baby, come with me I’ll get you something to eat.

Dylan liked the way Audrey was with him. His girl could do anything in front of him. Audrey always had this right.

Taylan packed Audrey up from the floor. Audrey glanced at him and said collly, “You wanna the wound on your back ropen

“I can’t control myself. I’m sorry, baby” Dylan’s lips curved up into a smile. He lowered his head and kissed Audrey on the

cheek.

Audrey felt a little uneasy, so she turned her head to avoid meeting Dylan’s gaze.

Dylan did not push her. He was satisfied because their relationship had advanced a step further tonight.

Dylan gently placed Audrey on the dining table, then went to the sofa to get a shawl that Audrey had used. He draped it over on her and said, “Put it on, or you’ll catch a cold. I’ll get some oatmeal for you.”

Dylan had been keeping the oatmeal warm in case Audrey woke up hungry at night.

The spacious kitchen was connected to the dining room by a glass partition, allowing Audrey to clearly see every move Dylan made inside. Audrey had never thought this god–like man would cook for her one day.

Just then, Dylan’s phone on the table rang again. It was a number from ladale City, but the caller ID wasn’t displayed.

“Phone call for you!” Audrey shouted.

“Help me answer it!” Dylan’s soft voice came from the kitchen

Audrey glanced at the phone but didn’t answer. A moment later, the ringtone stopped.

Dylan took out a bowl of oatmeal and placed it in front of Audrey. “Try it. The temperature should be

Audrey took a bite. It tasted so good–soft, sweet, and warm.

Dylan watched Audrey eating slowly, his eyes filled with a gentle warmth.

The phone rang again. Dylan glanced at it and picked it up with a frown. just right!”

The next second, an old, slightly sharp voice came from the other end of the line. “Is that Mr. Clifford? Hi, I’m sorry to disturb you at this late hour. Here’s the thing. Are you free tomorrow? Can you come to the Callahan family’s residence?”

Just from the voice, Dylan figured out who was calling. In the Callahan family, Grace was the only person who could say something like that.

Frowning, Dylan said coldly, “Sorry, I’m busy!”
