Vengeful Hearts Return Novel by Susan Clyde

Chapter 170

The Majest family was a mysterious, wealthy noble family that originated from the East, having lasted for centuries. It had just moved to Britamland 50 years ago.

Sunscape Group, one of the three largest financial groups in the world, was owned by the Majest family.

This ancient and mysterious family, whose wealth rivaled that of a nation also held a prestigious position. Even the princess of Britamland had to show them respect.

The Majest family lived in a vast castle, four times the size of the imperial palaces of Britamland. There were also castles in the Majest’s castle. It would take 15 minutes to drive from the main entrance to the central building many smally child in

Most ancient families had few children, and the Majest family was even worse. In Wayne’s generation, he was the only the family.

As the heir to the Majest family. Wayne remained single and had only adopted three boys as his future heirs.

Despite being the head of the ancient noble family, Wayne was mysterious and low–key, rarely appearing in public. However, countless women were still fighting to marry him. After all, becoming Mrs. Majest would bring even more glory than being a royal family member.

Rumors even had it that Wayne didn’t marry because he was interested in men.

Lisa’s car was stopped by the security outside the castle. She said, frowning slightly, “It’s me. I’m here for Wayne!

The security guards all knew Lisa was the princess and could recognize her car. So, no one had ever stopped her before.

“Princess Lisa, I’m really sorry, but my boss said no one is allowed to enter except for the Majests.

“Not even me?” Lisa’s face darkened, What did Wayne mean? Even she was not allowed in?

Lisa was no longer young, but as a princess who enjoyed a comfortable life and used every method to care for her skin, she still appeared youthful and beautiful, like a woman in her thirties.

“Sorry, I can’t let you in.”

With a frown, Lisa took out the phone from her handbag to call Wayne. The phone rang a few times, but no one answered. Her face turned even gloomier

As the princess, Lisa was loved and respected wherever she went. This was the first time she had ever been stopped like this. Lisa called three times in a row, but no one answered. Annoyed, she glared at the security guard, put her phone away, and then said to the driver, “Go back!”Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

After the black car left, the security guard returned to the security room and called the butler. “Princess Lisa has left. Yes!” The butler hung up and went to the study. “Sir, the security called, saying Princess Lisa has left.”

“Okay.” A cold, magnetic voice came from the study.

When Audrey woke up, it was already afternoon. She blinked, still in a daze.

“You’re awake! Are you hungry? I made some oatineal. Do you want to have some?”

Dylan’s deep, sexy voice came from beside her. He had obviously been awake for a while and was holding a tablet to read emails.

Audrey frowned slightly as she recalled Dylan offering to check her injury last night. Although she said she wasn’t hurt, he had insisted on checking it himself.

“What time is it? Audrey’s voice was still a little hoarse after sleeping for so long.

Dylan handed her a glass of warm water. “Drink it first. It’s almost 1:30 PM”

Audrey took a few ups from the glass Dylan handed her. She didn’t think much of it, perhaps because she had ber accustomed to Dylan taking care of her.

“Where’s my phone?” Audrey asked when her throat felt better.

“It kept ringing. I was afraid it would wake you up, so I turned it off” Dylan placed the glass on the bedside table and handed Audrey her phone.

Audrey took the phone without saying anything. As soon as she turned on her phone, a bunch of messages popped up. As she had expected, there were many missed calls.

Before Audrey could take a closer look, a call came in. It was an unfamiliar number.

Audrey pressed the answer button and heard a voice on the other end of the phone. “Hi. Ms. Hernandez! This is Hansel Majest. Do you still remember me?”

Audrey raised her eyebrows in surprise. “Of course, I remember. What can I do for you, Mr. Majest

When Dylan heard Audrey’s words, he narrowed his eyes and stopped tapping on the tablet. Majest? It was rare to hear this surname. By now, he only knew one family with this surname

“Sure. See you later! With that, Audrey hung up.

Dylan put away his tablet and asked, “Are you going out?”

“Yeah, Audrey replied, then got out the bed.

Dylan waited for a long time, but Audrey did not say anything more. He pursed his lips, saying. Tll send you there.”

Audrey looked up at him and nodded. “Okay!” She returned to her room to wash up and change her clothes.

Dylan had already gone downstairs to prepare breakfast. The food was all made according to Audrey’s taste and was quiet delicious.

During breakfast, Audrey replied to a few messages and received a call from Nicholas, who had almost cried earlier when he couldn’t reach her.

As soon as Audrey picked up the call, she heard Nicholas’s tearful voice, “Audrey, my dear sister, you finally picked up the phone! Do you know how worried I was? What the hell happened yesterday?”

“A small accident. I’m fine. Audrey said calmly.

“Is someone targeting you?” Nicholas was frightened by what had happened yesterday, especially when he saw the silver sports car crushed under the truck after the three–vehicle collision. If Audrey had been in the sports car, she would have been crushed into pieces.

“Don’t worry.” Nicholas was quick–tempered and couldn’t keep anything to himself. Audrey did not intend to say much, so the hung up after comforting him for a while.

Only then did she notice that Dylan, sitting across from her, looked even gloomier. Frowning, Audrey wondered if she had offended him. But after thinking for a while, she came up with nothing, so she just ignore him.
