Chapter 52
Chapter 52
The atmosphere between the couple became relaxed now that Veronica finally let all of her pent
up emotions out while her man soothing her in the process.
"So our son is Baelfire because of his fiery red hair and our daughter is Baelfair because of her
fair, blonde one?"
Veronica nodded proudly. "And they're geniuses too Well Fire, that's Baelfire's nickname was
a computer genius. He even managed to hack the systems of some smaller countries when he just
turned four. Fair on the other hand was I guess, a strategist. She would act childlike with everyone else
even her manner of speaking but I know that our daughter has been reading
Nichollo Machiavelli's "The Prince" and Sun Tzu's "Art of War" when she was three and a half
years old Both our children actually learned to read around that age and I was even really
terrified because that was not...-'
"Normal?" Rawlf beat her on it "That's understandable as I myself experienced the same
thing growing up. Although I would eventually learn that I'm different from the rest, what our
children need is proper guidance for them not to stray on their path and at the same time, not to make
them feel they're different from everyone else They're just born too fortunate and too
advanced for an average human."
"Fire hacked your company's system last month", Veronica realizing how she blurted the
information that could endanger their son covered her mouth right away. If anyone is still to wonder with
whom Baelfair took after being a blabbermouth, please, you don't have to anymore.
Rawlf's mouth twitched after connecting the dots. So it was his own son who caused problems with
his company and the reason why Veronica that time went back to Country R was to possibly discipline
their son.
He could only wonder how his trusted and most loyal secretary would take it if he were to discover
that it was his four years old son, Baelfire, who almost had his head cut off.
But what's most important is that he knew where their children were. They're in Country R.
"When can you let me meet them, I mean our children?" Rawlf asked in an excited voice with a
sparkle in his eyes. After all, he wanted to ask forgiveness from his son for being jealous of him that
caused a misunderstanding between him and their mother. Above everything else, to make up for the
years he missed with them.
He could do nothing more about the missed years but the present and the future are on his palm
now.
Rawlf will make it sure that no one, not a single soul would be able to hurt his woman and their
children! And of course, to make some people pay for the heavy sins they committed against his little
family. Rawlf Sy's family, his Veronica and their children.
Aside from that, his mother had been giving him a cold shoulder these days and even blocked his
number and the flower delivery he tasked every day for her.
His misunderstanding with Veronica made them both not able to attend the ball two nights ago
which according to his mother, where she "waited until the next day but still no sign of a son appeared"
because she's no longer valuable and deemed herself useless.
Rawlf knew that his mother was overreacting but she can't be blamed, after all, his mother rarely
asked or demanded something from him.
Now with the full knowledge of the existence of his own children, Rawlf knew now that appeasing
his mother won't be hard anymore.
He smirked at the thought of his mother's bewildered reaction if he was to break the most awaited
news to her.
"Rawlf?" Rawlf's line of scheming thoughts was broken by Veronica calling him.
He was probably at a loss with the news of having children so suddenly. Veronica thought. But the
excitement in his voice and the sparkle in his eyes was enough of an assurance for Veronica.
"As long as you have time to travel, we'll leave for Country R and visit our children."
The words "visit our children" made Rawlf control the wild racing in his heart. Too dangerous! NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
He thought that only Veronica was able to endanger his health but after discovering about their
children, Rawlf now felt like he really needs to work out day and night to strengthen his endurance and
his heart from the sudden assault of some kind of tightening in his chest at the mention of their
children.
"I am free anytime", Rawlf replied enthusiastically and almost instantly. "Are you sure?"
"Sweetheart, I have missed almost four years of our children's lives. I wouldn't want to miss more
time away from them anymore."
Veronica nodded. "I'm sorry."
"Shhh, stop blaming yourself. It was never your fault. Our situation then was just complicated.
What's more important is that we can finally give our children a complete family."
Rawlf moved to raise Veronica's chin and to have her look in his eyes.
"I promised, I'll do anything...and I mean everything that I could to make you and our children
happy by my side."
He then softly kissed her lips and brushed their noses together. Rawlf closed his eyes as he
sincerely said the next words, "I couldn't thank you enough for having our children. But still, thank you. I
love you, Veronica."
Veronica's shut eyes suddenly opened after hearing those words from Rawlf!
'He he loves me?!' Veronica was silent but after a moment of silence, she was about to speak
yet Rawlf cut her into it.
"I'm not rushing you. It's okay sweetheart. You have the time to sort out your feelings. As long as
you and our children are right beside me, I am more content with that."
Veronica rather than to reply in words, showed it in action as she initiate on kissing him to which
the man responded greedily
Two days and two nights of longing made the couple longed for each other's skin and warmth and
sweetness and intensified by the full knowledge to both that they have children, their relationship has
reached another stage, this time more intimate than the physical and much stronger enough for both to
surpassed the future conflicts and obstacles they are to face together, in order to protect their cubs.
The sound of moaning and cries of pleasure filled the living area as the couple shared another
blissful moment of unison.
