Will You Marry Me, Again

Chapter 106

Chapter 106 Are You Ready?

The message read, “I'll always be your sister.”

Hope received the text in the ward. Already teary-eyed, she read it and burst into tears. Puzzled, Buck and Wesley tried in vain to console her.

Hope then broke into a smile for the first time in a while. Buck and Wesley were bewildered by this.

After Maia rushed back to her office, she said to Paige, “Help me get information about Hope Warren’s contract with Nebula Entertainment and the company itself.”

Paige was taken aback. “Ms. Maia, are you going to help her sort out her contract problem?” “Why do you ask?”

“There’s a rumor that says that you’re going to help her. Anyway, her problem is an open secret. She was forced to sign an unfair contract that would bind her to the company for 50 years, among other unreasonable terms. Nebula sure treats their artistes like shit.” Paige shook her head, sympathizing with Hope.

“I'm not trying to resolve her contract problem,” Maia said. “I’m trying to take over Nebula.”

“| see. I'll get on it right away!” Paige then left.

Maia frowned. By taking over Nebula, she would be able to help Hope without upsetting her aunt.

There were knocks on the door. The secretary entered the office and handed Maia a name list.

“Ms. Maia, this is the list of participants for The Quest. I've separated the ones submitted by the investors and sponsors. Fiona Obrien, especially, is the daughter of the biggest sponsor...NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

“They expect us to give them special consideration?” When the secretary nodded, Maia tore apart the page containing the special participants. The secretary was stunned. “Ms. Maia....”

“A contest is a contest. We can’t allow this, okay? Tell the sponsors they can always withdraw from the show as long as they pay the penalty for breach of contract.”

“Okay, Ms. Maia. ”

The secretary now realized why Aiken always looked at Maia her admiringly-she was wesome!

“We're from Cascade Studios.”

“You may begin your performance now.’

The music played, and several girls started to dance and sing on stage.

The audition went smoothly until Fiona Group showed up.

“Hey, guys, we're Fiona Group!”

Standing in the middle, a girl flashed a radiant smile. “I’m the group leader, Fiona Obrien.”

“Did you guys name the group after your leader to save time, or did you do it because it sounds nice?” Aiken asked. “Because it sounds nice,” one of them said, letting out an embarrassed yet courteous smile.

“Do you like my name, Aiken?” Fiona asked coyly, winking at him. Aiken felt the urge to whack her head with his microphone.
