CHAPTER 22: HEATED
CHAPTER 22: HEATED
Alana’s POV
“Why?” I swallow hard
“Because I promised we'd take things slowly. The one time we were together, we had not recognized the mate bond. If we should get together again, we would be mating. Traditionally.” His voice had dropped so low, and thick with arousal. “If we mate, I might not be able to resist marking you right here and now.”
“Right.”
“So, Alana. Lock. The. Door.”
He turned his back after taking one last inhale of the room and shut the door softly. I stood rooted to the spot till I heard his door click shut.
He was right. We may have accepted the bond in words but mating and marking each other would solidify it forever. Permanently.
I did want the bond to be permanent, but did he?
Would I even survive Axel sinking his teeth into me seeing as I had no wolf and was almost human? Would I even be able to mark him? I can’t recall the last time my canines even descended.
With an exasperated sigh, I plumped down on the bed.
Axel’s thick masculine voice resounding in my head sent a wave of heat swirling through my skin.
I had to get my mind off these things and focus on the work we had to do for the multipack party.
I got down from the bed after tossing for minutes which seemed like hours and I took off the dress I had dinner in.
I rummaged through the closet to pick out a pair of silk shorts and a blouse that we picked out from the store as my wear for the night.
It felt so soft in my hands and I could bet it would pass for a full outfit on a normal day.
Putting it on and tying my auburn hair into a loose bun, I laid down on the bed again.
Seconds turned into minutes, and minutes stretched on until I lost track of time reading the book Kennedy gifted me.
The soft click of a door opening caught my attention and my head snapped to my room door.
“Lock the door.” I recalled.
I didn’t.
Shit.
Massive feet thudding on the marble floors had my heart thumping loudly in my ears.
Silence.
After a second of silence, the door handle probed open and a barefooted, bare-chested Axle stepped in.
Raven black hair that glistened with…water or something… hung in his dark eyes and a small smile curved his full pink lips.
I hitched a breath as my gaze settled on his fully exposed eight-packed midsection rising and falling steadily. The v-cut of his waistline disappeared into black baggy sweatpants that stopped right above his massive bare feet.
“You’re here,” I whispered.
“I am.” He said slowly.
“Why aren’t you asleep.”
“I went out for a run in the woods.”
“I see.”
“I couldn’t sleep because I heard you turning. And turning. And breathing.” He said as he stalked towards me.
“I had no idea it was this late. I was…reading.” I lifted the book with no idea why I was explaining.
“Hmm.” He nodded.
The bed shifted with his weight pressing down on it and I gladly inhaled his sweet scent, fighting the urge to snuggle up to him more.
“We have a long day tomorrow,” I said in between shudders.
I have no idea why I said that. The last thing I would want is for him to get up and leave.
“I know.” He extended his muscular arm and wrapped it around my waist, pulling me on top of his lap. All he did was plant a kiss at the corner of my mouth and trail it down to my neck for a moan to escape my lips.
My hands found their way to his soft hair and combed into it, pressing myself closer to him. At this point, a breeze would not pass between our bodies because we were meshed as one.
Axel’s hands sank under my blouse and took hold of skin that begged to be touched and squeezed, igniting a trail of fire as his hand skimmed over my skin.
Our lips connected in a frenzy and I breathed in his scent before welcoming the delicious taste of him — lemons, wine, spices—. My hands have now grabbed his chiseled back, fingers digging into it and no doubt drawing blood. A growl parts his lips and rolls down my throat.
The scent of both our arousal is thick and permeating the air around us and I feel my juice dampening my shorts.
A louder growl from Axel had me lying flat over the bed with both my hands pinned above my head with one of his and the other fondling my mound.
“You drive me crazy.” It was not his voice. It was deeper, almost unreal like it was his beast talking.
Extended claws poked through my shorts, ripping them apart.
Releasing my hands from his grip, he traced the curves of my body down to my thighs and held my legs firmly apart before settling down between them.
For a brief moment, his eyes connected with mine and he looked at me like I was the most beautiful person he had ever seen.
A thick, strong finger stroked over my folds, and he let out a long hiss, gripping me tighter with his free hand.
“So ready for me, Alana,”
I cannot respond as he dives in with his tongue first slowly flicking over my folds, and then faster, and faster.
I grip the sheets with one hand and throw the other hand over my mouth to muffle my nose. I do not trust myself not to scream when he’s on me like that. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.
He shows me how talented he is with his tongue by sucking, nibbling, licking, and slurping.
I squirm under him not knowing how much longer I would last.
Driving a finger deep inside me and thrusting just as his tongue flicks back and forth, I scream. “Axel!”
Who knew that a tongue could do so much? Pleasure so much? Drive a person insane this much?
“I can’t…” I shake uncontrollably in his firm grip as the most blissful feeling ever hits me.
He runs his palm over my stomach before bringing his head to me, mouth glistening with my juices.
“Still ready for more, baby?” He grins as he runs his tongue greedily over his lips, trapping it all in his mouth and letting out a growl.
“Yes.” That's all I can say anyway.
In one smooth move, he lets down his pants and his thick, long, hard member springs free, the tip moistened from his juices.
With one slow stroke of his member, he positions himself at my entrance and sinks slowly into me and I swear my eyes roll to the back of their sockets.
My eyes open and I find that I am on my side, facing a ridiculously handsome Axel sleeping soundly. This time he is not a stranger anymore and I don’t feel the urge to run away. Rather, I feel
full and warm, my head is clearer, my body is lighter and the sounds from the surroundings are clearer.
Is this how it is?
I smile, flinging a palm over my mouth to muffle my chuckle, and for the first time in forever, my fingers…my claws brush through sharply pointed canines descending from my mouth.
